I have been wearing boots in some form or fashion all of my adult life. These are hands down the most comfortable I have ever worn. This is my second pair of them. I will continue to purchase them. You can not go wrong with these Salomon Quest 4D 3 GTXs.

I used to be a fan of other brand until I found these pair of boots. I bought an olive pair for hiking and backpacking and loved them so much I bought a second pair in black for work. I can't pair these enough between the ankle support, lacing system, and grip whats not to like?

I have owned all the brands, Merrill, Asolo, Sportiva, and this boot by far has been the most comfortable, best fitting boot I've ever owned - Keeps my feet dry, I wear wool socks and my feet never blister. . . I won't buy a different boot. . .

Yes, this flies in the face of the trend to hike in ballet shoes. I was down and out due to ankle issues. So glad to have found these boots. Quality product. Break in was quick and easy.

Overall an excellent boot. These are light weight but offer enough support to be used when hauling heavy loads. I live in Alaska and use these boots for summer hiking trips and as a mountain hunting boot. They are light weight, perform well, and are comfortable. I wear these boots in a lot of different terrain from bogs to scree fields. I only expect to get one year of hiking and one sheep hunting trip out of a pair of light weight boots and these meet my expectations. Although they are well used and beat up after one year they are still useable and I have gotten two sheep hunts out of a pair. They are comfortable out of the box and fit true to size. I would say as far as light weight hiking boots these are more comfortable and perform better than others I have tried

These boots are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! You know your boots are perfect when your feet are happy and you don't even think about them allowing you to not feel fatigued and trek farther. Very stable, cushioned, wide heel craddle. Super grippy lugs in the outer sole. Stiff middle sole so you don't feel every single little thing on the terrain, allowing your feet to be more relaxed. Great stability coming from the stiff chassis. Bellowed tongue doesn't allow any debris or water to get in your shoes. The lacing system has metal buckles so when you pull the laces up they don't allow the laces to come undone so easily. Nice craddle around the ankles, giving you the support you need when carrying a heavy loaded back pack, yet light enough to feel like a shoe. I wear size US 11.5 across all the Salomon line and these are no exception. They craddle my feet super comfortably. I can't recommend these boots enough for those long treks on the trail.

Used on backcountry elk hunt in Idaho. Very rugged terrain. Put over 50 miles in one week with these from 27 degrees and snow to 70 and sunny. Absolutely amazing boot. Love the lace lock. Also use for whitetail hunting.

Un rglage micromtrique au niveau du laage, un confort ingal, jamais une seule ampoule ou un mal de pieds aprs 2 chemins de Compostelle et 2 chemins de Stevenson et bien d'autres randos dans toutes les conditions... Les pieds toujours au sec. Je n'ai rien lui reprocher et encore moins ce choix que j'avais fait parmi tant de modles

I bought these boots for an elk hunting trip that involves a lot of hiking up and down the mountains. They were excellent, light rugged, and I never once had the feeling that I was going to get a blister or hot spot. I love the lace that binds when you pull the boot lace into it, that makes it so you can tighten the boot very tight on your foot, and not as tight around your ankle, great concept!! I put these boots to test over 15 miles in rugged mountain terrain and they functioned very well!!

These are my go to shoes for long hikes very comfortable, fit is spot on, great product

I've had these boots for 3 years. The first season I used them was over 30 miles in the backcountry of Montana. I've used them in back country Colorado and New Mexico. The are light, comfortable, and durable. Most of my crew use these boots as well now. No complaints from any of them. If you're looking for a boot for getting off the beaten path, these are the ones.

I bought this a month ago and very glad I did. This is my 2nd pair of QUEST 4D 3 GTX. My 1st pair lasted me 3 years, a deployment to Afghanistan, 6 trips to Asia and countless military training events before they started falling apart. Very comfortable and durable boot. Definitely recommend.

Most comfortable boot I have worn. I am excited to wear them this hunting season. I was so impressed, i bought a pair of Xreveal GTX shoes for every day wear, which I am equally happy with.

I had owned a previous pair of these boots. They were my favorite. Any time I was outdoors hunting or cutting firewood, I was in my Salomons. After three years, a side seam finally blew out so I ordered another pair. This pair is even better... wasn't sure improvement was possible. Fit like a glove from day one, no break in time, looked sharp. What's not to love? I've worn them cutting wood five or six times now as well as during archery elk season. These boots give me great traction in the mountains and while climbing on and over the deadfall logs I'm cutting for firewood. They seem to breath well paired with merino wool socks and I wear them all day comfortably. The lacing system keeps them snug on my ankles and feet which is nice for avoiding blisters. Just a fantastic boot and a crucial part of my outdoor gear allowing me to get my job done in the mountains, whether that's prepping for winter with firewood or bowhunting elk to keep my family fed for the next year.

Straight out of the box these were extremely comfortable. Did not take long to break them in, maybe an hour of hiking. Extremely waterproof. Extremely lightweight as well for how sturdy these are.

After a quick shakeout hike in which I soaked my old traditional Heavy Leather back-paking boots, I noticed they were coming apart - ONE DAY BEFORE a 50 mile backpacking trip in the 100-mile wilderness followed by day hiking up Katahdin. I had no time to break anything in, but I had been reading reviews on this boot, so I raced down to purchase a pair and started hiking the very next day. Through brooks and all-day rain, up and down mountains, the next 70 miles were as comfortable on my feet as I have ever had. Only a single blister due to me lacing/tying them wrong the first day. As much stability support as my heavy traditional boots, but lighter on the feet. I have a new love affair with these boots! THANK-YOU for saving my trip!

I work them hard and put them through miles of training and hiking! Will definitely purchase again.

What a great pair of hiking boots went on a 4 day hiking trip and thought my feet would have hurt because I didn't break them in not the case felt great and comfortable I like the support in the ankle and it they held up well with the streams we crossed not a drop of water came in.
