I've worn these hiking shoes for a couple of months now and absolutely love them. They are very durable, waterproof, and very comfortable right out of the box. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone.

I've had my boots about a couple of months now and I really like the fit and comfort of this hiking boot!

Had these boots for 2 days before I took them out on a backcountry snowshoe. These boots held up no problem. My toes got a little cold. But a better sock should fix that problem

Just moved to Colorado and knew a good pair of boots were required here. Stopped in a local shoe store in Longmont and tried on a similar pair. When I got home I realized my first pair of ski boots were Salomon! I went on line and read all the reviews about the QUEST 4D 3 GTX and ordered a pair. I've had them on for an hour and know they will serve me well. I'm an experienced outdoorsman and these are amazing!

Second pair. Fit is amazing. Great for work and play.

Been steadily breaking in these boots for a while now and so far very happy. Been comfortable since day one, great support and well constructed. A lil heavy but highly recommend these to anyone looking for a serious hiking boot

These boots were a great buy. My feet have never been more comfortable on hikes, and the stability on rough ground is amazing. From crossing streams with slippery rocks, muddy trails, and side hill trekking these boots have done great.

Bought them six weeks ago to replace my timberlands that I have had forever and love them. Comfortable to walk through airports and great traction in the snow.

I wear these boots for long periods of a time as I work for a rural EMS department in West Virginia. I have worn these carrying patients & loads up and down hills and in urban environments and for 24+ hours at a time. These have fit great and nothing but comfortable every minute of every day.

These boots are the perfect synergy of function, form and style. Lightweight yet strong, comfortable on pavement and broken ground, I finally have the boots I have been looking for the past 20 years. My heartfelt "thanks" for creating the perfect lightweight boots!

Was worried about size because I was ordering online and many reviews claimed that they fit small. I find this to be untrue for the most part. If you are ordering online and always wear a size 10 for example, order that size. If however there are cases in which you size up, you might want to consider a half size up. Or if you plan on wearing thick socks or have some other reason to size up. Not sure on durability yet, haven't had them long enough.

Love these boots, and love Salomon as a company. The boots are a very good quality and the redesigned sole is more durable than the last generation of Quest 4D

I had the previous version and got it in 2014 and wore them all the way through Afghanistan and just retired them on another Afghanistan trip and purchased this new model for this deployment. They are incredibly light even for my size 14 and have tremendous stability which is great for the uneven terrain. I love the traction these boots provide and they're extremely comfortable on long days on my feet. Absolutely will continue to purchase Salomons

Salomon is the single Best boot for Operating on land or in water that I've ever deployed. The comfort level for long term wear is unsurpassed. In fact the Quest Forces 4D 3 GTX BOOT saved my life once. It was as simple as being able to move fast without slipping when I was getting out of the way of a projectile explosive. 3 pair lasted 11 deployments into Iraq and Afghanistan; I rotated the use of them and they all were in wearable condition when I retired them.

I have gone on a lot of extended hikes and always ended up with feet problem and blisters. The first time I wore these boots, I already had blisters from the previous footwear. A 10 mile hike with the blister was completely painless in the new boots. Highly recommended.

I have had these boots for a month. Wear them nearly everyday for 8-12 hours. Love them!

This is my second pair of Salomon Boots, the performance and comfort are unmatched. The Gortex lining does not let a drop of water in, I can literally stand ankle deep in a stream of water without water permeating in. Great for long hikes in all condition, couldn't be more pleased.

Absolutely love this boot. Worn through 2 pairs already and happily buying another. I work landscaping all summer and snow removal all Winter, and the boots are the best for it all. I've even gone "wading" with them in about 3-4 " of water, not a leak. Bottom line, no boot is as light, supportive, durable, or comfortable.

I bought these because They where a good deal. Straight out of the box with a good quality pair of socks I went out on a cheeky 26km tab carrying 45 - 50lb, at a rate of at least 4km per hour, so not chilling with it, and with more than a few hills and can honestly say these boots at as good as it gets. Might be worth mentioning I have a really mashed up foot after a nasty industrial accident, so the way I walk is its own kind of special. Size wise, I am normally a uk9, but got the uk 9.5 so my feet could spread a bit, and to fit a decent sock. The lace system works and stays done up, so no dramas there. The one thing I would say is that my feet were like prunes at the end, this is what I expect many people who said the boot leaked had, not water ingress, just a lot of sweat build up. Gortex is okay, but like all things it has it's limitations, and this Ian something that I have encountered with other boots with this membrain. The remedy is better foot care, may I should have changed my socks at the halfway point, but it was drizzling and with a honkingly cold wind and I basically want it over with. the end I had 2 minor hot spots which is acceptable for straight out the box. I was honestly expecting to be crawling home, or to be sat under a tree, toys out of the pram, and not wanting to play anymore. Give them ago, you won't regret it.

I have worn these for a few weeks now. On 2 occasions it was during heavy rain and flooded areas during training and shooting competitions in KY and MO. Boots never leaked and feet stayed warm and dry. Easy to lace, easy to put on and take off, ortho liners are extremely compfortable, boots are lightweight (or at least really feel like it). I have worn them for 16 hours at a time, feet didn't hurt, and neither did legs or low back. Worth every penny and couldn't be happier with them.
