Need a loop on the back of the shoe so they are easier to get on, it's easier to untie and unzip them to get on, which isn't very convenient working night shifts in EMS. Also, they tend to make my feet hot. However after broken in they are comfortable.

I'm a public safety officer and walk on ice and snow for hours per shift. The boot height is perfect for duty and they provide good traction on slippery surfaces.
If I had one complaint it would be that my feet actually get to hot because the boots don't seem to breath well...even in 10-20 degree weather. I switched to a very thin dress sock and that helped a bit, but still very warm.

So far, I love these boots but haven't really put them to any real outdoor tests, so that's why only 4 stars. They feel great right out of the box!

I saw your ads on facebook and these tactical boots looked great and cool. I ordered and got them within a week. And they were at an affordable price. They are very comfortable and so far have not let me down. I will definitely come back to Merrell for my next pair maybe even hiking shoes this summer and will recommend Merrell to my friends. Thank you.

I have always been a Merrell boot fan. I purchased the Moab 2 WP to wear working outside on my property. I wanted a boot that could stand up to harsh conditions both in the winter and summer. I was also looking for a taller boot for more ankle support.
Thus far the boots have for the bill perfectly, another great Merrell product. The boots felt great right out of the box.
The only thing I wish they had is a loop on the back to help pull them on. I would also like to see this boot in a leather brown color.

Sexy comfortable flexible so that mean you do have to half size down if you have narrow feet if you have wide feet stick to your size but will break in after a week of use and will crese fast and will be even more comfortable get compliments all the time
Some what waterproof haven't socked em yeah just wear thick socks and should be good
9 fits like a 9.5 after 2 weeks but there of just lace em up and thick sock dont plan on wearing these in thr summer though there kinda of fresh maybe considering it

I agree with the prior review with the design of the zipper. Why have it if you will still need to untie the boot to take it off and tie it to put it on. Thus only 4 stars. Other than that, this is a great boot. It is comfortable and fairly lite for a boot you need to tie. That has a zipper. The waterproofing works perfect and were easy to clean. How rugged and long lasting?? We'll see.

Very comfortable boot. Great for all day hiking but not completely waterproof. Water will get in if it's not just a quick dip.

I wear these boots for work on the railroad. Souls hold up great on the rough ballast rock, good ankle support, fit great, light weight, and comfortable. Only complaint is the fabric top around the top of the foot will get holes easily if snagged on something sharp

I had some Moab low-top boots that lasted 6 years before the waterproofing stopped working. And I realized: what's the point of having waterproof boots if they're low-top? Can't stomp in puddles, debris always got in...
Replaced them with these, hope they last another 6 years. I have wide feet and bunions. The 12 wide fits well and doesn't cause any pain. They're a bit heavy but debris doesn't get in.
The zipper is sketchy: I zipped it down and it got stuck. Thought I wasn't gonna be able to get it back up but it finally went. I don't need to open the zipper to get them on so I'm never gonna touch them again. Too expensive to have a junk zipper.
I walk my dog in Oregon thru grass and mud so these are perfect for that in the winter.

I ordered these about a month ago to replace my older hiking boots that also come out when it snows and so far (no snow) I am happy with them. They are nice and wide and still provide plenty of support. The zipper is a nice addition but I wonder how long the Velcro will hold up. I found them running a bit large and had to exchange them for a half size smaller but this is also my first pair of Merrells so I had nothing similar to go off of when ordering.

I got these boots. Extremely comfortable, pretty amazing. But they started to come apart in the ripstop at the toes after about 4 or 5 months. That being said I wore these as a city letter carrier, and they did last the longest out of any footwear I got for the job, including things thar cost twice as much. Never noticed any waterproofing, even when they were new. Considering the comfort and the soles showing no wear when other parts started to fail, it was fairly sad when said parts did start to fail, and a little disappointed in how wet my feet got even when new since I did get these for the rainy days.

Zipper is more decorative than functional. Still need to open the laces to put the shoe on. Otherwise it is a really comfortable and well built shoe

Boot is excellent in comfort, weight, and fit. The first pair I had lasted 2-3 years, only because the inner liner glue caused separation from the structure itself. Nothing else was deteriorating. Soles are fantastic.

Sending back. Husband has an older pair and likes that the zipper allows him to just slip on and zip, without redoing the laces every time. However, with the gusseted tongue on this version, there's not room to enough to slip his foot in and out without adjusting the lacing.

Not bad booy. Comfortable with good support. Biggest downside is that they don't have a loop on the heel to provide leverage when putting the boot
on.

I wade creeks, climb hills , get in the mud and sometimes walk on concrete. I love The Boots but, your shoe laces suck. They get loose continuously amd will not stay tied. Change the laces amd the boots are perfect!

I've worn these boots on four 12 hour EMT shifts now, and my feet feel great at the end of the day. One observation - I haven't been able to slip in/out of the boot using ONLY the zipper. It seems to only assist in not requiring you to strip the laces down as far.

Great boot! Super comfortable for a whole day wear on any terrain. Sneaker light too.
The only problem I had was that the inside fabric ripped a hole in them, on both boots right where my heels sit. This made them not so comfortable and started to chaff my heels.
I really want to get a new pair of these, but am hesitant this will happen again!

This is my second pair of Moab boots. Im in law enforcement and on my feet alot. They are very comfortable and durable. This second pair I got was the water proof version with the side zip. My one and only complaint would be that sliding my feet in and out of the boot is very tight due to the extra fabric for the water proofing. I would still recommend them and will buy another pair once they wear out.

Great boots! They were a little heavier than I thought but super comfortable and sturdy. The zippers are really rigid but a little grease and they should be fine. Woukd definitely recommend.

Great boot!!! Comfortable, Super lightweight, fully waterproof with lots of ankle support!!! The insole is a little skimpy could have a little thicker padding for my taste. I work EMS lots of standing, driving and lifting. Other than that you could run the triathlon in these boots with no problem.
