I have tried to work these boots in with 7 or so 12 hour shifts. I find them very hard on my feet I do not have abnormally wide feet and these boots really hurt my feet and I find they don't air out well. I have used other tactical boots for the last nine years and I have found these boots also hold onto foot odour like no others I have used. My wife has used Merrell in the past for nursing and has loved them, so decided to try them when I was purchasing new tactical boots for my work. I am very disappointed and have now had to go back to my old tactical boots.

NOT waterproof at all, 2 pairs in a month and both pairs were absolutely garbage. Feet were soaked first time i wore them. The littlest bit of moisture goes right through.. They are super comfortable, but they are JUNK

I bought these with the Merrill reputation in mind. Well, the left heel started squeaking after 2 weeks. After the first big rain these were to be waterproof. Why are my feet wet and cold. I called for service but no longer have the receipt. So oh well nothing can be done.

I have a pro deal, because of my profession. but with the pro deal there's a clause that says once you purchase them you cannot return them. I understand that however there aren't many places around here where I can go try on a boot to see if it fits so I am going by sizing guidelines. The boot I purchased is too big so I cannot wear it and I also cannot return it hence, the rating for my poor rating.

I bought these boots a little over a year ago and I was initially very excited. I've bought Merrell boots multiple times before and enjoyed their products, but these boots have not held up well at all. Over the time I've owned these, I've worn them maybe 30 times and used them on 3-4 strenuous hiking trips. The soles are starting to crack, chip, and fall apart. Both toe caps have lost rubber, the heels of the soles are cracking to the midsole, and the rubber keeps chipping away. The waterproofing is failing as well. I didn't expect a pair of boots at this price to only last a year, especially when other Merrell product I've owned have lasted 5+ years. I'm incredibly disappointed at having wasted my money on these.

I purchased my first pair of these boots back in 2018. 70% of my job is outdoor so, I needed good waterproof work boots. Within 30 days of use the sole started separating allowing water into the boots. Merrell agreed to replace the boots. Thinking the first pair was factory defect, I continued using these boot over the last two winter seasons. My toes had always ended up damp, but I assumed since it was while working my feet were just sweaty. Well, today during a hike in an inch of slushy snow my feet got so wet they were squishing in my boots. Are they comfortable - YES! Do these "waterproof" boots keep your feet dry - NOOOOO!

Chunks of sole coming off after the very first hike, less than 2 miles. This was my third pair of Merrells, and unfortunately my last. Vibram is not good for rock.

I NEVER write reviews unless I soend hundreds on garbage and thats exactly what these boots are. Feet are absolutely soaked from dew on the grass and 3 months of K-9 School has them already falling apart. Total junk.

i have had 3 pairs of your moab 2 waterproof boots the muti heal and sole come apart and water leaks through, i have been glue gunning them back together on a regular bases when i look at the piece that is falling off i can not see adhesive sticking to the pieces i have bought my last pair of boots from merrell

Hey guys , I bought apair of these boots and was very excited to get them unfortunately they are not waterproof just walking through the grass in the morning the dew made it through. Yes my feet were wet from day one. As for durability the stitching wore out in less then 2 months. The waterproof issue is between the sole and where the boot meet.

Purchased November 2019, they leak everyday even if the grass is just wet, forget about the snow or rain, my feet are soaked, the Velcro that closes around the ankle ripped,

These are no where near waterproof!!

These boots are not waterproof as advertised. I work in a Corrections environment and a waterproof boot is vital to protecting me from the hazards within. I have had these boots for about a year or more and have never had an issue with water seeping in. I was not ankle deep in water. I called Merrell and they stated that the whole boot is not waterproof. I would not have bought these if that was the case. With that being said, the customer service lady was great and these boots are comfortable but only half waterproof.

The waterproofing works great. Too great. Traps all the moisture inside as well. Get great wool socks if you have to wear for extended time.

Bought these because them came extra wide & were waterproof. Wore them out in slush & snow & feet were soaked. Disappointed.
