The zipper broke, material starting to separate and they are honestly just not very comfortable. Feel bulky for no reason. I love Merrill so it's disappointing that this boot isn't great. Bought for work and they will now sit in the garage.

Waterproofing/debris shield does not extend above standard MOAB height. Impossible to get on or off without lowering zipper AND unlacing.

Fit too small and the metal plate on the back digs into your achilles with every step

I bought this a few months ago because I love Merrell boots and shoes however sadly this are not waterproof 4 other people on my police department have these and all us have been experienced water getting into these with little effort. Do not buy these at all if you are considering it because it says waterproof. Still like merrell but these boots are 0/10

Excellent sole for traction. However, the overall quality in wet and cold conditions is terrible!

Read review from Tyler55. It's spot on. Lacing is required anytime putting on or taking off these boots and because of the materials used and the lacing design it's a difficult task; a real pain.

Bought these boots a week ago, they haven't even been put to the test and are already falling apart. Iv used them for light construction work and the Stitching is already coming apart They are also not "waterproof" so I won't even bother using them for winter.. absolute waste of 160 dollars!

Seriously pointless to buy the side zip boots as you cannot get them on without untying them anyway.. Seriously Merrell is it really that hard to put a pull loop on the back of the boot??? Comfort is decent but complete failure in design of the side zip boots!!

Purchased these boots in February and the back of the right heal has already torn out making them impossible to get out of. I had to cut them to get my foot unwedged from the nylon trap that it was stuck in.

3rd pair, poor quality, expertvoice discount, soles squeak after 3 week.

disapointed in all of the products. Thought I had found a decent shoe company but the soles fall apart on every shoe I buy and the sizes are inconsistent.

These boots were in the dumpster and replaced within 4 months of owning them. Didnt hold up as advertised. Support was completely broken down within a few months, holes in exterior around the toe crease. I now actively campaign that none of my coworkers purchase these for work.

dropped all the loot on these boots, didn't expect to have wet feet when i did not even get myself into any puddles. do yourself a favor and, well, treat these if you need to stay dry.

I brought these boots for the winter because I needed waterproof boots working outside all day and I'm super disappointed I come home everyday my feet are soaked don't waste your money if you are relying on that feature of this boot.

I'm not sure why the soles of your products continue to fall off. I've had issues with 3 pairs of hiking boots over the years. I decided to give you one more chance - my mistake. Losing a sole on the mountains of Oregon taught me a lesson.

So I had bought these boots and wore them for 2 days at work, and the front rubber on the toe started peeling off. 2 days They are light boots which is what I was looking for and the zipper was nice to have for taking on and off without having to untie and tie, but build quality was horrible.

My boots leak where the laces start... Merrel said they are only waterproof below laces. So tough luck, however, I can't find anywhere it says that... Just big "Waterproof" in their title of the shoe to sell them. Very misleading advertisement. My investment went to the garbage can. Another manufacture off my list!

I wanted a waterproof boot for motorcycle riding. After the first downpour my left foot was soaked. The water came in through the toe. Not through the zipper or down my leg. My right foot was damp.

Original pair that I bought fell apart in less than a week. Merrell sent me a new pair which was appreciated. But I can't walk across a wet lawn without having soaked feet. They also get very hot and hold stink like no other boots I've owned. If you want a pair of boots for walking down the sidewalk on a cool dry day these would be good. Anything else, may as well wear sneakers

Thay are not waterproof i work in lawn service my feet get wet

After 20 years in Special Forces, and 10 years in Law Enforcement, I can tell you true tactical boots NEVER have side zippers. That is a single point of failure that will make them useless. I would love these boots if they were available without the side zipper. I love Merrell shoes/boots, I just wish they made a true tactical boot.

Gave me a heal blister on my first walk and I could feel the lugs of the tread of the sole caused pressure points on the pads of my feet.

I tried This shoes For 2 day there's only One problem If You work in the electrical field this is a big No Or You are Truck driver like me the Friction of this shoes Is insane they create a lot of friction and Every time You Touch a metal Surface you get Shot of electricity , 0stars
