I wanted a sandal to wear on the beach that could handle getting wet repeatedly. I like to surf fish. They seem comfortable and work well with my arthritis while walking.

I've used these as daily wear around town in the summer and have done some light cycling as well. They seem to be holding up well. I do get a little bit of discomfort on the base of my big toes due to abrasion. However, I imagine this can be fixed with some more adjusting of the top strap. Great product! Normally a size 8.5 in most footwear, had to size down to 8 in these, and they fit perfectly.

Runs a little narrow, the triangular piece where the straps converge seems to dig into my foot. Hopefully I'll get used to it with time.

I wear them for casual getting around. Somewhat painful on my feet

I bought these as my first pair of shoes from Teva after my wife was talking about hers so often. I use them to go fishing a lot now. They're great to wear whether you're bank fishing or getting a boat in the water. Only complaint is the plastic piece at the end by the pinky toe sometimes can irritate my foot.

I wear a 9 1/2. I've bought two other pair of Teva's in 9 1/2 but apparently they no longer have half sizes. Had to buy size 10 and just not the same feel. Disappointing.

Good quality for the price. Fit good as well. The only thing, I've had Tevas before. This time on the sole, instead of being completely smooth, they have a couple indented lines. These hit me wrong and are less comfortable as result.

I bought this sandal for two activities in mind: -Packrafting (and some portage) -Casual in summer For that reason, they had to be able to fit my neoprene socks. I used it during my first packrafting/camping trip and so far the velcro is working perfectly and the sole is ok for that walk on the shore. For the neoprene sock, I am happy that I have 3 adjustments especially the one in the back of my heel.

These are amazing. But if I step on something with outside of foot at an angle the triangle strap holder gets pushed in my ankle a little. Working on messing with straps. I may just have a low right ankle bone too.

I use them for stepping through the 6 with my woes.

It's been a couple of weeks. It's taken me that long to get the perfect strap adjustments completed. The first couple of weeks I developed blisters (I wish I'd kept my old pair to help me dial in the straps more quickly) but I think that situation has been resolved. I've owned Tevas since I first discovered them on my honeymoon on the island of St. Croix. I grabbed two left foot sandals of my previous brand in the rush to catch the plane and so had to buy some new shoes when we made it to the island. I expect to keep buying Tevas whenever my current pair wears out. I do wish they still made the style I picked up back in 1988. Too many adjustments to dial in on these.

Broke them in on a weekend roadtrip this weekend. All around great feel. I do miss the grooved footbeds of the older models. I feel these flat ones get a little annoying after a while. They get too hot.

Been a long time since I had Tevas and these are like getting to know an old friend you haven't seen in years. Started off with the Original Universal back in the 1980s and went through several pairs before switching to other types of daily footwear. Recently bought a pair of the Hurricanes and what a difference time has made. More aggressive trail soles, a soft neoprene heel strap padding paired with the Universal ease of adjustment. Far more practical and fun.

After returning for a size smaller I will wear them all summer!!

i answered this question several days ago. the velcro straps are too short! same as a previous pair of tevas that i bought several years ago.

love these sandals! they fit my relatively flat feet perfectly! i do miss the clasp that connects the center strap; 'prefer a clasp to having to fit the strap every time i pull these otherwise perfecto sandals on 'and am wondering when i'll receive my black pair ?
