It's been a couple of weeks. It's taken me that long to get the perfect strap adjustments completed. The first couple of weeks I developed blisters (I wish I'd kept my old pair to help me dial in the straps more quickly) but I think that situation has been resolved.
I've owned Tevas since I first discovered them on my honeymoon on the island of St. Croix. I grabbed two left foot sandals of my previous brand in the rush to catch the plane and so had to buy some new shoes when we made it to the island. I expect to keep buying Tevas whenever my current pair wears out.
I do wish they still made the style I picked up back in 1988. Too many adjustments to dial in on these.

Broke them in on a weekend roadtrip this weekend. All around great feel. I do miss the grooved footbeds of the older models. I feel these flat ones get a little annoying after a while. They get too hot.

Been a long time since I had Tevas and these are like getting to know an old friend you haven't seen in years. Started off with the Original Universal back in the 1980s and went through several pairs before switching to other types of daily footwear.
Recently bought a pair of the Hurricanes and what a difference time has made. More aggressive trail soles, a soft neoprene heel strap padding paired with the Universal ease of adjustment. Far more practical and fun.

love these sandals! they fit my relatively flat feet perfectly! i do miss the clasp that connects the center strap; 'prefer a clasp to having to fit the strap every time i pull these otherwise perfecto sandals on
'and am wondering when i'll receive my black pair ?

Extremely comfortable, can be worn all day . They are a bit to prone to squeek when you walk which is a bit unpleasant. Former Teva products haven't had this issue for me.

These tevas are nice, bought a new pair cause my old ones from 2001 died. I would change/add 1 thing, some soft padding on the strap around the big toe knuckle area. This strap has irritated and cut me in this area. Just a thought though, otherwise nice.

I really like the fit and feel of these sandals. I use them while hanging in and around water, including water crossings while hiking/backpacking. I like the grippy soles and the security of the straps but just wish they dried a little bit faster. Would definitely buy again, just without the expectation of quick dry straps.

This is my second set of shoes the first lasted 20 years. I use them in my travels around the world and as deck shoes, shower, beach or exploring. Thanks for a show I have been able to count on.

I love Teva, but the heels need stronger anchors, planned obsolescence for 3 year use?

I love these sandals. We go to the lake a lot and I do a lot of hiking around the lake and they work GREAT in and out of the water.

I like the style and comfort of the shoe for water related activities. Hopefully the front over the toes strap will last longer than my previous pair.

I purchased these and they were uncomfortable at first, but once I figured out how I needed to adjust the straps for my feet I never had another issue!

If you're a half size and unsure if you should get half a size up or half a size down, try on a pair of sandals as they typically fit the same. Of course with a different type of footbed. For those with wide feet, don't worry! These are great for wide feet. I gave it 4 stars because although they're good with water, exposure to sand is a no go as the sand will get into the webbing and cause abrasions. I had to stop wearing mine for a couple days but it's not the shoes fault. I just wanted to try them out in the sand. I love these and they're comfortable. But be cautious when walking on the beach. Oh! And I did get compliments from older gentlemen when I went fishing the other day lol

I live near a river and am in an out of water all the time. I have been wearing Tevas for close to 30 years. The Hurricanes continue to my best choice for comfortable amphibious footwear. I have tried on a few of the more costly competitors, but find Tevas fit my feet best. I have also tried some of the generic Teva copies, but they are not as comfortable and tend to rub funny and fall apart quickly. I have had issues with some of my Tevas' soles separating from the sandals over the years, but have not found a better all around water sandal. My new ones are a little squeaky, but I think that will stop as I wear them.

I spend a lot of time outdoors camping, hiking and kayaking. Some of the water shoes I've used end up degrading after limited wear and/or smelling like mildew. These are a great alternative.

This was a replacement for a pair of the same style that lasted me a lot of years. I wear a 9 - 9.5 in women's sneakers. After reading the reviews about the sizing, etc.. I ordered a 9. They were a full inch too long. I would be tripping over my toes. So I sent those back and ordered an 8. They were better, but my toes were right at the end and sometimes a tad over. I wore them for awhile but then decided I could not live with that. So I tried the men's sizes. I ordered a 7 in men's. Much better. Clunkier looking but these aren't dainty feminine sandals anyway. My toes are still near the end, but if I tighten down the front velcro strap, I can keep my feet back in them. I will probably give away the women's size 8's since i wore them and won't return.

I bought these as an alternative to the Forebay closed-toe. With the attached heel, the Forebay rubbed too much. But the heel strap on the Hurricane is great! It moves with my stride so there is NO heel rubbing. AT ALL! My only little niggle is that the front strap allows my foot to slide on the footbed a little too much to call this a truly "all-terrain" sandal - hence the "most-terrain" in the headline. But for moderate trails and river wading, it is great!

I like the look and how easy it is to take on and off. One slight downfall is there is a horizontal crease that runs right under the bottom of my big toe knuckle. Every time I walk it pinches the bottom of my foot a little. It fades over time but was a little uncomfortable at first.

I have two pair of tea sandals and one the Velcro has separated from the strap and the other the soles are deteriorating. I have bought my grandchildren each a pair, as well as my son in law. I am just sorry that mine are coming apart... they are so comfy.

My 14 year old son used to only wear slides- until they tried to kill him by tripping him at the most inopportune times. I ordered him Teva Hurricanes and he has LOVED them. He's worn them all summer. He is also thankful for the durable sole that doesn't fold over and try to trip him.

Hot some pretty big blisters on the side of by big toe from the strap from hiking down a mountain. It would be nice to have some kind of tightening guide for the straps. All in all they are pretty nice though.

I have had these sandals for a couple of weeks and worn them almost exclusively during that time. I really like how they can be adjusted to fit your feet and walking style. My right foot is larger so the sandals have been adjusted to fit my feet. I did 4 days of 12,000 steps in them on flat surface as well as a massive hill the first week I had them. I wore socks because I didn't want to have blisters but they were no problem. So, far I am quite satisfied.
