I spend a lot of time outdoors camping, hiking and kayaking. Some of the water shoes I've used end up degrading after limited wear and/or smelling like mildew. These are a great alternative.

This was a replacement for a pair of the same style that lasted me a lot of years. I wear a 9 - 9.5 in women's sneakers. After reading the reviews about the sizing, etc.. I ordered a 9. They were a full inch too long. I would be tripping over my toes. So I sent those back and ordered an 8. They were better, but my toes were right at the end and sometimes a tad over. I wore them for awhile but then decided I could not live with that. So I tried the men's sizes. I ordered a 7 in men's. Much better. Clunkier looking but these aren't dainty feminine sandals anyway. My toes are still near the end, but if I tighten down the front velcro strap, I can keep my feet back in them. I will probably give away the women's size 8's since i wore them and won't return.

I bought these as an alternative to the Forebay closed-toe. With the attached heel, the Forebay rubbed too much. But the heel strap on the Hurricane is great! It moves with my stride so there is NO heel rubbing. AT ALL! My only little niggle is that the front strap allows my foot to slide on the footbed a little too much to call this a truly "all-terrain" sandal - hence the "most-terrain" in the headline. But for moderate trails and river wading, it is great!

I like the look and how easy it is to take on and off. One slight downfall is there is a horizontal crease that runs right under the bottom of my big toe knuckle. Every time I walk it pinches the bottom of my foot a little. It fades over time but was a little uncomfortable at first.

I have two pair of tea sandals and one the Velcro has separated from the strap and the other the soles are deteriorating. I have bought my grandchildren each a pair, as well as my son in law. I am just sorry that mine are coming apart... they are so comfy.

Hot some pretty big blisters on the side of by big toe from the strap from hiking down a mountain. It would be nice to have some kind of tightening guide for the straps. All in all they are pretty nice though.

My 14 year old son used to only wear slides- until they tried to kill him by tripping him at the most inopportune times. I ordered him Teva Hurricanes and he has LOVED them. He's worn them all summer. He is also thankful for the durable sole that doesn't fold over and try to trip him.

I have had these sandals for a couple of weeks and worn them almost exclusively during that time. I really like how they can be adjusted to fit your feet and walking style. My right foot is larger so the sandals have been adjusted to fit my feet. I did 4 days of 12,000 steps in them on flat surface as well as a massive hill the first week I had them. I wore socks because I didn't want to have blisters but they were no problem. So, far I am quite satisfied.

I have wide feet that swell so this was a good option since the women's sizes don't allow for enough adjustments- wish there were more typically fem colours in men's sizes, I'm not a fan of most of the patterned straps. Very comfortable fit great, Hoping they last a long time!

I bought this one because my old pair started decoying after 4 years. I am still straggling to find the right stripes position. It looks like the stripes a bit shorter than on my old pair.

This stylish shoe has already gotten me several compliments in the weeks since I've gotten them. They feel very durable and made of quality material. My only critique would be the strap around the ankle can become slightly uncomfortable after prolonged wear. That said, it's bearable. Overall, I really like this shoe. Would recommend to others.

They really need half sizes; I got a 10, which seemed too big, so I exchanged for a 9, which was too small. I wanted to exchange for the original 10, but only one exchange allowed, understandably.....so right now I'm deliberating if ordering a 10.....

A little tight on the outside of the foot. Little toe is usually marked by strap connector.

Although I am a woman, I bought this sandal in a smaller men's size to try to get a better fit width-wise. I was looking for longer straps & more overlap on the hook & loop material. Success, but there is still a lot of hook & loop material that is exposed and readily collects my dog's fur. I wear this sandal as an everyday/casual one, but would really prefer a leather sandal with a suede-like foot bed. My ancient black leather women's Teva (simple Hurricane style) has been perfect for dressy occasions, but it is starting to show its age. I can't be the only person who would love to see this sandal return. If it does, I promise I'll buy two pairs right away!

I love my new Teva's. There is one thing that drives me crazy. Why would you put the engraved Teva in the heal of the shoe? I always think there is some dirt or sand there. It should be as smooth as the rest of the shoe. The straps are a little "sharp" but I know they will wear down and be comfortable, hopefully the Teve logo will be too. Other than this little problem great.

Hey, you find yourself working from home now and suddenly you don't have to wear dress shoes anymore. The summer heat kicks in and next thing you know, you're in need of sandals. Picked a pair of these up in "earth multi" color about a month ago, and I feel like I haven't taken them off since. They're comfortable and breath well (yeah, of course they do, because they're sandals, but I was wearing Crocs before I bought these and for all the holes in a pair of Crocs, my feet were always roasting in a plastic oven). I've worn them around the house, doing yard work, walks around the neighborhood, and small hikes. So far, they've held up really well and I haven't noticed any of the glue separating like some other reviewers had noted in their experience. I wish they were a smudge wider though as it feels my high arch of an instep is a little over the edge of the sandal sometimes. Overall, I would definitely recommend these sandals.

...there's definitely been a decline in the sturdiness factor - and the footbed is already showing signs of wearing down (to that shiny white) after only a couple of moderate-use wearing. Not sure how they'll hold up from longer walks, hikes, etc.
