I am happy with my purchase over all. However, I would like to see one change in the design. That would be a higher arch which would give more support for the foot.

I needed a practical summer sandal and liked the colors available as well as the level of support on this one.
**Size note: I did pick "true to size" but would say if you're a 7 1/2 to go to 7, where it's very comfortable. 8 would be huge.
I've been wearing for a few weeks now and really like them! I walk the dog, wore them for some lake "swimming", wear them inside to keep my feet from getting all dirty.
I wish the Velcro soft side faced out since I have the furriest animals in the world. If the straps aren't tightened to their fullest for a fit then the hard Velcro barbs catch ALL the fuzz.
I've also had one spot that keeps rubbing on my right foot by the blue triangle attachment. Adjustments haven't quite fixed it.

These are so comfortable! I love the padded heel strap. I wore them river walking and I don't recommend them for that. They slipped on my foot in the water and readjusted the straps. That didn't help. The are great for daily wear just didn't work for water and rock hiking.

I use these as my hiking sandals. They have great traction and a supportive some that is still light (unlike my chacos that were so heavy, gave me blisters on the soles of my feet, and stayed wet). The soles of these dry very fast. The only complaint is the front strap cut into my skin the first few hikes but could be user area. I loosened them and made sure the Velcro was covered bc that is what cut me. Love the vibrant colors and what the company stands for.

I owned my first Tevas in the 1990s, which I loved, and they were similar to this pair, so when I decided to buy another pair after all these years I tried to find the pair that looked like what I had almost 30 years ago (ahem). In 2020, the universal doesn't disappoint. The tread is very sturdy and great for short summer hikes or everyday errands, the footbed is very comfortable (although I really loved the footbed of my 1990s version-more of a pattern instead of smooth) and I don't get any blisters on my feet from where the straps are on the sides of your toes or ankles. I usually wear a 9.5 shoe so I wasn't sure if I should order a 9 or 10. I decided to try the 9 and the size fits perfectly! Kudos Teva for keeping/improving on a style that has been around for a while!

Great for yardwok and gardening - waterproof and surefooted. I've had three pairs over 5 years, used daily over summers until the top half of the sole separated from the lower and became a tripping hazard. My second pair was replaced free when I sent the first back, but this time was in too much of a hurry to go through this process after I'd duct-taped the two halves together in the front and found they were too slippery on hills.

Over the years I have tried to find a hiking Teva that had as comfortable straps as my first pair, many years ago. Finally these straps are comfortable and not harsh or stiff. The footbed still doesn't match what I used to have, but they are very comfortable. Wore them camping and they were awesome. Love the look!

I walk and hike in my Tevas almost daily. The Hurricane XLT2 model does not have the arch support of other versions I have had, and the strapping is more abrasive. Otherwise, however, they are comfortable in typical Teva style and great for shorter outings or with strategically placed moleskin patches. Better arch support would be a great improvement.
I do like the color selection, and would encourage even broader possibilities of that option.

The sandals were extremely comfortable from a support perspective. However, I have to wear bandaids every time I wear them because I get blisters.

I love the colors. The only downside is that I recalled this model having more support at the arch.Still a nice fitting sandal.

I expected more arch support. S9 , Feet shift forward as I walk. I wear medium width but have skinny ( not narrow) feet, had to pull the straps tight ; extra fabric hangs off the ends. Have Morton's neuroma and the sandals made it worse with tight straps and no arch support. The sandals are very cute, the red was nice. Really liked the look, but not my fit. I envy those who find these comfortable.

The only thing I messed up when buying them was the size I got. In flip flops I'm a 7, bit for these shoes I needed a 7.5 because the 7 I bought my toes when I walk push up to the edge of the sandal.

I love the colors which is the reason I purchased the shoes. I normally wear the Terra FI. The straps on this shoe are narrow and tend to dig into my foot. I adjusted the straps a little loser and it took care of the problem. I also thing if a flap was added under the strap by the little toe the corner would not dig in. Basically a comfortable shoe, but could use some changes.

I got the 90s multicolor ones. I first say the men's ones and was disappointed the women's doesn't have the black splatter on the yellow, a small complaint, though o don't understand why they made them different like that. Th are comfortable and don't require much breaking in. I normally wear a 5.5 shoe so I got the 5 and they are perfect, but if u got long toes size up

The only issue I have is that the strap across.my toes is rubbing my right foot and caused a sore. I tried to adjust it and I think I fixed it. I really love my tevas, except for that part.

I bought my Teva's 1-2 years ago! They are super comfortable and I will probably buy them again. There are some holes starting to form on the soles of the shoes (I walk in them a ton and take them kayaking etc.). I wish the soles were a bit more rugged. The rubber looks really thick but now that holes are starting to form it looks like the bottom layer of the sole isn't as thick as it appears to be from the side. Four stars because the velcro and everything else has lasted really well, and I love how comfy they are.

I have very wide feet (bunions), so I really like that all three straps are adjustable. Style-wise, they look very old-school Teva, which I like. The only problem is that the straps are quite stiff, and my pinky toes rub a lot. I'm trying to tough it out, hoping that either the straps will soften up or (more likely) my pinkies will grow callouses and toughen up. I'm wearing them for a few hours every day. This is my pandemic project and honestly it's a relief to have something to look forward to.
