I have Hurricane XLTs from 2017 and 2018. They are my favorite outdoor sandal for support (arch and otherwise), durability, comfort. I bough a new pair in fall of 2019 that are not as supported in the arch and overall. I wonder if the new design compromised the midsole and arch. Whereas I can wear my old ones hiking and working on hard floors 8 hours a day, I cannot wear the new ones for more than a couple of hours. I would also like to see the return of the Teva Toachi (great arch, comfy neoprene under straps, rugged) and the Teva Neota (dressier, arch supportive, practical).

The shoes base is very wide compared to others by teva. I love my sandals by teva but this one is alittle wide for my taste

These shoes are extremely comfortable and I get complimented whenever I wear them. They are definitely comfortable for long casual walks. However, I wore them on a hike and wish that they had a vibram sole or more durable sole similar to the men's strata universal. That being said, definitely trendy and comfy! But maybe buy a different pair for hikes... unless you don't mind accelerated wear and tear.

These shoes draw quite a bit of attention in rural Illinois. Very comfortable, and the black (in my opinion) is a versatile statement piece. I've had these shoes for a few weeks, and I am still figuring out what strap measurements are best for securing my feet. If I adjust them to my feet do not slide around in there, the ankle strap feels a bit too tight. I did not read about anyone else having this problem in the other reviews, so it might just be a me-problem.

Great sandals - for traveling - the straps will take a while to soften and then they will be truly great
I'd also recommend:

Great shoes! They're a little chunkier and wider than I expected, but overall love the comfort, great for hot travel destinations and hiking as well as a casual summer outing. Not necessarily stylish but still a solid shoe.

So I've been wearing my moms old Birkenstock-style doctor Scholes for the past few years. They are 40+ years old and have very little traction. I walk a lot of trails and was looking for a sandal that I could use for everything. I originally got a blue pair and returned them for black. Im from Maine and have wide lil duck feet that really help in the snow. However, my only complaint is that it is almost not wide enough and I have to leave my top strap at a weird place to help my pinky toe breathe. They're not the most stylish esp for my age- young 20s but they're not leather or 120+ for trendy Briks. I love these I recon they will last a long time

Like them a lot but I think for me , I like the originals I have better but they are just a bit big so I wanted to try a different style and got a size smaller in these but great sandals none the less

I wear the Teva Hurricanes when I am working around the house and shopping in the grocery store. Also going for a short walk.

I wear them when I know I don't have to walk a lot. The Tierra model holds my foot in place much better so I will stick with those in the future

Nice sandals, they fit well and they are attractive, I just wish they had better arch support

Love the easy on and off, fits my foot well. Only issue I have is where the ring hits my small toe, trying to avoid a blister. Could be just a period of adjustment needs to happen.

The best Tevas I've found recently: I got a pair for both my mother and me. But I miss my old Teva's features (the "pretty rugged" line, I believe): more padding under the straps, a thinner sole with a softer footbed, better arch support, and metatarsal support. Also narrower (no rim around the footbed).

These are "OK". I am hoping with more wear they will become more comfortable. The straps are not as comfortable as my original Tevas.

I have narrow feet but can usually manage in medium width shoes especially sandals with 3 levels of adjustment. But I came close to walking through the front of these shoes so I had to return. The neoprene under the straps made them very comfortable. Wish they could have worked out. Kudos to Teva for making vegan sandals though. More of that in this world please.

I normally wear 8-1/2 but Teva no longer makes half sizes so I purchased a size 8 which I hope will be OK since I have a narrow foot.

I had these for under a year and the bottom sole started to come off in different places. I glued it back on. It happened on the other sandal not long after. Out at the island last weekend the whole bottom came off and I lost it in the water. They still had lots of wear left on the tread and I was not ready to give them up. I want to buy another pair but am weary.

I like the padding on the heel which really makes the sandals comfy and easy to take off without undoing the straps.

Good-looking, (great colors!) and comfortable, I think—I’ve only walked about 50 yards in them. Hoping that a certain stiffness in the straps softens up after I’ve warn them for a while.

I have another pair of these in tan that I wore any second I wasn't at work and the boysenberry is such a pretty color that I knew I had to buy a second pair. I compared the two and found that the xlt2 has slightly different tread, a stiffer footbed and is a smidge shorter in length than my older pair of the same size which isn't my favorite. But I love these because they're wider than most sandals which really fits my foot so much better and I'm sure after wearing them more the footbed will soften. These also have good arch support and look very cute with a variety of outfits; anytime I'm going on a trip or out for the weekend I pack these everytime
