I wanted to love this sandal as I could not find another Teva Hurricane 4, which I love, but the only way I know to describe the look is that TOO MUCH SOLE SHOWED when wearing! It did fit well, but the sole outside the straps made it appear too wide. No thank you.

I needed something a step up from flip flops with a better arch. These fit the bill and I'm keeping them. The arch is just OK. Teva is functional and adjustable so its a great utilitarian sort of sandal.

I wear an 8 and the 8 was too big. Traded for a 7 and it fit perfectly. The problem for me is that the front strap cuts across the bony part of my big toe and after wearing for an hour or so, it hurt. So while the idea is great - Tevas just aren't the shoe for me. Thank you Zappos for letting me experiment and try to find the right sandal. Back to the drawing board.

To start: my feet are difficult to fit. In Teva sandals, I wear either a Women's size 12 or a Men's size 10. I bought the Hurricane XLT in Women's 12 because I like the color and pattern on the straps. And it was the only sandal on the Teva website (and other websites) with extra supportive soles in size Women's 12. Hate the Men's colors!! I only score it a 4 because the straps are not as comfortable as the Terra FI 5 Universal, which I love.

I have worn this exact issue for many years. Still have several in my closet. Suddenly the brand in this size is running 1/2 size too small. Had to return them.

This is my second pair of Teva's. I'm normally a size 6 1/2 in dress shoes. The size 7 fit me perfectly on my original pair from 2 years ago but unfortunately the size 7 in the Teva Hurricane XLT2 this year is too long. I ordered the size 6 thinking that might work but was too short. Wish Teva sold these sandals in half sizes!

I returned these sandals because the fit wasn't right for me--I have a low-set pinky toe and a wide forefoot-- so the strap across the front rubbed and would have given me blisters immediately. However, the footbed was comfortable and sturdy enough for hiking, and the shoes seem to be well- made.

Love the color, been waiting for this to come in. Hurricane is my go to everything summer sandal, great for whatever you throw at it.

The plastic triangle piece by toe straps was a little uncomfortable but I adjusted as best as I could.

Sole needs to be higher quality. I wear these hiking and work all season in them. You can tell you keep using cheaper and cheaper production and materials. Their hard and compact within a few months.

Nice shoe. I would like to encourage teva to keep making more feminine and attractive shoes.

I love the style of these so much. I got the vista sunset print. One issue that another reviewer mentioned -- there's a weird crease line in the sandals that are kind of uncomfortable on the sole of my feet. I don't notice this issue with socks but definitely can get annoying when going sockless in these. Overall would still purchase these cause they're so cute and have great padding.

I love these shoes and will continue to wear them often. I have narrow feet so the straps are a little too long, but still doable. The other piece of feedback is that they take a while to dry. After dipping them in very cold water, my feet will stay cold b/c the straps take a couple hours to dry. Wish they dried a little faster.

Got these yesterday and am thrilled with them so far. Wore them out for a 4.5 mile walk this morning, straight out of the box, and my feet felt great the whole way through. I hope to get many, many, many miles of walks out of these shoes, in all sorts of weather and terrain. I guess the only thing that gives me pause is there's a ridge on the footbed that hits my foot in kind of a funny place. I'm not sure if my feet are shaped strangely and it hits other people in a place you'd expect. It definitely isn't enough of a detraction to make me unhappy with the shoes. My usual shoes are stiff-soled clogs - Dansko, Sanita, Sven, Sandgren, etc - because soft-soled shoes make my tendonitis act up. These, so far, don't do that to me. My feet and legs feel great, after this one wearing.
I'd also recommend:
Dansko, Sanita, Vionic, Fly London

This sandal is very comfortable to wear on any occasion. The strap across the foot rubs my little toes so I place padding on my toes to eliminate sores. I gave 4 stars for that reason. It would be perfect if the straps were padded to prevent rubbing.

Wear daily. Fit is fine. Is not as sturdy as my 10+ year old Tivas - especially across mid foot and ankle.

I have sensitive feet and the Teva Hurricane XLT2 fits and feels good, like that there are multiple adjustable straps.

Attractive, comfortable. Fine for walking on city street sidewalks. Feels secure going up and down stairs. Still trying to adjust straps. I think a 9.5 would be a better fit but I will made due with size 9.

I wear these sandals almost everyday (I run a dog camp so we are by the water most days). The padding on the back strap is so comfortable, it doesn't cause any friction, they have great support and traction. My only complaint Is the toe strap causes some friction and caused blisters at first, but after wearing them in they are fine now.

I got these thinking they were going to be just like my last pair. They are a little different in the straps and they do not fit quite the same. Also, my last ones had the shock pad and these do not. But overall, very happy and hope they last as long as my others did.

The perfect amount of squish and can be on my feet all day. I wish that they ran 1/2 sizes. I'm generally an EU 36, but theirs seemed 1/2 a size too small. Keeping the shoes because they still are fairly comfortable.
