I loved Teva sandals before for many years. The materials are great, but the plastic connector of strap part digs into my skin. I will order a different model without that triangle plastic piece. Size was good, true to size or even need to down in size a bit. The straps are short and if you need to adjust, you don't have enough strap material.

I bought the black in a size 8 last year and it fits perfect, but the Light Multi I just got seems to have slightly shorter straps and I can't adjust it enough before running out of velcro. I'm sure it will be fine but they are a bit uncomfortable right now.

I love everything about this sandal. The comfort, ease of putting on, adjustability, versatility... the only thing is I wish they lasted me longer. I wear them exclusively and they last from April - October before the soles are worn through

I ordered Teva Hurricane XLT2 in Nouveau Glacier Grey which are super cute. They are probably going to be great shoes for many people, just not for me. These are a more athletic version of the Teva sandal as they have a slightly molded footbed and nice traction. Great for fast walking, water activities for grip, etc. I wear teva sandals almost every day year-round. Another athletic Teva sandal I'm comparing these to is the Teva Terra Fi Universal which are my favorites. Those are hard to find right now, so I tried these Hurricanes as they looked similar. The fit: Tevas seem very consistent in size. I always order 1/2 a size larger than I measure. Tevas run wide which is great for my slightly wide foot. I also have a high arch which means some, but not all, Tevas work for me as I prefer a little extra arch support. FYI If I try on men's tevas (I usually wear women's sizes), they fit great if I order exactly 2 sizes bigger than I do in women's Tevas. Comfort: These did not work for me for 2 reasons. The adjustable straps are stiff, more like a nylon than the straps on the Teva Terra Fi which came out of the box soft and comfortable. The footbed of the Terra Hurricane feels slightly flat compared to the Teva Terra Fi which has more pronounced comfort bumps and grooves which hit in all the right places. The Hurricanes gave my foot less to grip to so this feels less stable and slippery inside. The Hurricanes seemed to miss the arch support which the Terra Fi's have which I prefer. So, on a brief dog walk in my new Teva Hurricanes, my foot kept sliding around as if they had nothing to hang on to. I had to keep adjusting the straps, but that ended up hurting the top of my feet, especially as the straps are not super soft. Quality: Like all Tevas I've ever owned, the quality is great. I keep Tevas for years, they've never faded or broken. Style: The strap pattern is great, Nouveau Glacier Grey is retro and funky. They are black, light gray, white, with a dash of teal. The gray (almost white) sole is nice as I usually order black soles. They look very cute on my feet.
I'd also recommend:
Saucony, Teva, Sorel, Dr Martens, La Canadienne, Fit Flops, Hoka One, Ecco,

I love these sandals. The print is my favorite. It goes with everything. Unfortunately, I have hade a great deal of trouble with Tevas' quality control. I have ordered many pair and have had to send too many back for issues with squeaking and straps that are different lengths, so one candle will be great and the other slips off my ankle. I will keep trying until I get another good pair.

I wore these for several months and enjoyed them. They never got wet or abused in my wearing of them. The right sandal developed a raised area that became sort of “gooey” under my foot and the stuff smelled bad when I touched it with my finger. So, I am returning them to you for that reason. Has anyone else experienced this problem with these sandals?

Love these as I needed something very comfortable to walk and bike in. Just wish they had come in half sizes.

I usually only get leather sandals but they were out of stock, so I got these. They are taking a while to get used to but I do like them.

I really like these sandals a lot. They have the top two straps AND they have a heel strap as well so you can adjust the shoes to fit your feet. Great designs to chose from, also. Only issue (which is something I have with most shoes so it's not the brand) is that they're pretty heavy on my feet which hurts my lose ankles. I wish Teva would make a zero-drop shoe like this just to take the weight off a bit. If you don't have issues with how much a shoe weighs then this won't be a problem. Also, I wish they would come into half sizes. I usually wear an 8 and that's what I got. They fit perfectly unless I'm going down hill then my toes slid to the end of the shoes. So, if you're a half size...definitely go up! Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase like always.

Started out stiffly uncomfortable but eased in and are now very comfortable. Great cushy sole, I wear them for casual walking. If they came in half sizes I would buy more. Decided to keep these because the Terra Fi Lite has been on backorder for months and months and I needed another pair of shoes! Toe comes right up on the edge. Not uncomfortable but looks crummy because of this.

I like this product a lot - especially being able to keep adjusting the straps until it fits just right. New it's fairly stiff and takes a bit to break in - my feet got tired while that was going on.

I'm recovering from achilles tendonitis and currently have heel pain. Was concerned this sandal would be too flat but it has a slight height to alleviate pain. I like that I could wear this to the pool, to walk around town, or add socks while walking through the woods. The BRIGHT RETRO MULTI goes great with a variety of outfits.

The good part of this sandals is comfortable on the sole. Can be on any terrain, has a very good grip on rocky terrain or gravels and stays on your feet without slipping and coming off of the Velcro. The only negative part is the straps don't really dry out that quick, it dries after about an hour if it's hot. And if you wear on sands and wet areas, sands sticks on the straps. But I still love it and would recommend it.

I am a Teva fan and have had my pair for 10 years so it was time for new ones. I was a little disappointed with the soles. I would suggest to improve the design of the sole is to eliminate the seam below the ball of the foot. It is a bit irritating and gives the sense the sole is broken or cracked when walking.

I've been using Hurricane Tevas for boating for many years. I think I actually had to throw one pair away back in the 80s (before I knew about your recycling program). Now I shoe glue them and keep them going forever. Well, until I just wanted a new colorful pair.

I would have given this shoe 5 stars but there are two issues that I want to address. I've had a pair of the original Teradactyl sandals. They're ugly, but they had the toe grip in the front & the straps were well made, finished edges & rubber pulls on the straps you open for adjustment. The new pair I bought are colorful but the straps aren't padded/reinforced like the old pair. The new pair have rough edges & you can feel the Velcro. There's no tie grip in these. I would think most people that wear Teva wear them outside to walk or hike. The built in toe grip helps when your foot is shifting around. As I said, I like the great colors Teva has come out with, but don't skimp on the quality.

For the most part, I love these sandals. They are too wide on me and slightly big even though I sized down to a size 8 (I usually wear 8.5 or 9). They gave me blisters at first when I tightened the straps for hiking/ rock scrambling, but when I wear them slightly looser for casual wear they are very comfortable. They're cute and can go with anything.
