Good looking Teva but straps bind

Wider than my old hurricanes. When i loosen for comfort too loose. When i ghten to hold toes in place rubs toe

I use these sandals for water sports, swimming and kayaking. I have tender feet and the soles are not as soft and squishy as my previous Hurricanes, which is a disappointment. They would probably be fine for people without foot problems.

I loved them...unfortunately I only got to wear them once before my new puppy chewed them to pieces. I hope to order them again some day.....and plan to keep them away from the puppy!

This is my first TEVA product and I generally like these sandals. They are firm but not uncomfortable, the velcro holds tightly and they're very adjustable. The tread is great, I went up a very steep, wet hill (which has given my hiking boots a run for their money) and the sandals held up great. I do have an issue with the placement of the toe strap, where it falls on my foot it digs into my pinky toe. I loosened the strap, but this makes the shoe not as tight on my foot as I would prefer. I'm not sure how many folks this will affect. I've found these have been great for everything from farmers' markets to river days to moderate hikes.

The sandal feels comfortable. My feet are able to breath after biking or hiking. They are light (easily packed and transported. I have not owned them long enough to declare whether or not they are durable. I am not fond of the velcro connection for the straps. I like a previous model which had clips (male into female). I felt those were secure and the attachment lasted many, many years.

I had a different pair of tevas and wore them to death over 5 years and I got these ones because I thought they'd me more comfortable to walk in. I was right.

I've worn Teva sandals for years and have always liked them. I have found the foot beds to be different, many years ago one pair had an unexpectedly high arch and I had to give them away. The current older pair I have is perfect. This new sandal is also very good but the foot bed that contacts my foot is flatter, less contoured than my current older pair. I do preferred to have a slightly ergonomic foot bed but I think that may develop overtime as I wear the sandals. I would purchase them again or another like them.

This new pair replaces one I got several years ago - and it seems quite well made and looks great. BUT, TEVA has eliminated some 1/2 sizes, so i had to order a half size down from my usual 9.5 (40.5). A size 10 is too long, but I really would like a 9.5! Also, it is stiffer than the earlier version, so will have to wear it in. Basically, looks like some money is being saved at the expense of comfort.

I do a lot of walking (60 mile in 3 days for the Komen Foundation), and use this sandal to give my feet a rest as I normally walk in the Zymic. I love the padding on the straps, but they could use a little more arch support.

Comfortable shoe. Would have been a 5 star if the footbed was contoured for feet instead of flat.

This sandal has support and is nice and comfortable to walk in. I had an older model that conformed to my feet better than these do and they had a liner under each of the straps that made it less scratchy. They do work well for walking & hiking in though. Great selection of colors.

The new XLTZ is very cute and true to size. However I miss the padding on the straps that would make them even more comfortable, like the older hurricanes i have.

I've hand Teva sandals for years and they wear like iron and are very comfortable. The only negative comment is that the straps on my new pair are much thinner than the straps on the pair that are 15 years old. Other than that they are the same well made sandal. Also, I wear a size 7 shoe but the size 7 sandal was too big so I exchanged it for a 6 and that fits perfectly.

I love these shoes. They are so cute and so durable. I have been wearing them kayaking all summer long where I am constantly in and out of the water, and they still look great!

Very sturdy, looks great, and works for wide feet. Kinda tricky to get the fit just right, but it's great that we have the option to with 3 points of adjustment. Not great for someone with sweaty feet through (feet slip a bit). Also sometimes I can feel the edge of the toe strap digging into my big toe which can start to hurt after a while.

I'm very happy with the sandals. My original pair lasted many many years. I wish they came in a narrow. I have a very narrow foot. If I pull the straps tight enough they're hanging over the edges of the shoe.

LOVE the sandal for kayaking. I didn't love the color so I easily exchanged it.

I noticed the balls under of my feet perspires. I do not like that, because I have to clean the area at times.
