My son has to wear orthopedic braces and I was looking for a wide show that they would fit in. These worked perfect. They come in an extra wide which is exactly what I needed to get over the braces without having to go up more than one shoe size. Overall I am happy with them.

Comfortable and decent looking shoes. My son liked them, but didn't think they had the "cool" factor. Will see how durable they are with wear. So far so good.

Kept this sneaker for my 3 1/2 year old. A little on the wide side but with his heavy winter socks they are great. He loves them as they are easy to put on and use the Velcro.

A true wide fit

My six year old put these on and exclaimed 'ahhh!'. He has moderately wide feet - meaning, the last time I ordered him sneakers we went through fifteen pairs before we found something (anything!) that didn't feel constrictive to him, but he doesn't have the extremely broad 'square' feet some kids do. This time I ordered him these in all three widths and a whole and half size. The W is the one he kept, the heel is slightly loose but he preferred it strongly over the M, so I kept it anyway and he's worn them gladly with very happy feet. I'm super grateful to have that for him. They are not, however, winning any style points with his holiday outfits! Something stylish WOULD be a miracle!

My high energy 8 year old loves these shoes and they are so far pretty durable.

My son loved the way these felt, unfortunately the elastic fake laces on one shoe was terribly stretched out and dangling over the side of the shoe. There does not seem to be any way to fix this, so back they go. I don't understand how these got shipped out looking like this.

Disappointing. The toe material came apart from the shoe in the first few weeks.

They fit my six year old son fine and were recommended by a local shoe store for being especially good for wide feet. But they were worn out in only 2 months, even when not worn daily. The leather part of the velcro strap separated from the velcro part and the shoelaces get pulled out of place easily. It is also hard to pull the tongue up far enough so that the velcro strap doesn't rub again the foot. When he puts them on all by himself, the tongue usually ends up smashed at the toe of shoe. Overall I wasn't impressed.

We ordered the red and I have to say it's too red - the design needs some contrasting colors, but I feel bad for my son because they look a bit dorky (IMHO, don't tell him I said so). Otherwise very same New Balance vibe; if they tend to fit your foot you'll be fine in these.

These are an identical replacement for the pair I bought in February -- just 3 months ago -- for my son. He likes them, and the hook and loop feature are key for him because he is always on the go and would go crazy if he had to tie and untie laces multiple times a day (even if he knew how to -- another story altogether). He wears the heck out of his shoes, but even with that in mind the last pair started to fall apart after just a couple of months. We had the same issue others showed in pictures: the toe part significantly separated from the rest of the shoe. I guess the glue is crummy or needs some stitching to reinforce. Honestly I only bought these again because I knew they would fit and I didn't feel like buying another brand or style in case the fit wasn't right. I was under pressure to get a replacement because the other ones were so worn out but I would prefer not to buy these again because I'm guessing the construction issue wasn't a fluke with the last pair. We'll see. The hook and loop (velcro) feature isn't as popular in larger kid sizes so we have fewer options as it is.

Very hard and uncomfortable. My son has been complaining about his feet hurting since he started wearing these.

Fit great, maniac 6yo loved them. However - they didn’t stand a chance against a kid who’s tough on shoes. Mesh toe area is already coming apart (plus the stretchy laces were huge) and he’s worn them for maybe weeks.

I bought these shoes for my 5 year old busy little boy. They just fell apart, stitching out around both toes, on the Velcro securement strap, on the sides. Terrible quality! I’m very surprised at how short they lasted.
