I feel as though I bought a different pair of shoes than the other reviewers! 1. Size. I would say they run true to size. I wear a 39 (btwn an 8 and an 8.5) so I ordered one of each. The 8 fit with thinner socks, and the 8.5 with thicker socks, so that part was a wash. 2. They are wide. They're wide in front and wide in the heel. This was true for both sizes I ordered. I spent time mixing and matching socks and bare feet, and they were wide no matter what I did. 3. The leather is soft. I ordered the brown, and the leather is so soft I was concerned they'd look broken in if I tried them around home for longer than 10 minutes. Soft leather is a good thing; I liked this part. 4. They look better and a bit daintier than I thought they would. I'd wear them to my casual workplace. 5. I'm returning them. The whole point of this shoe was comfort, and they aren't comfortable enough. I walk up and down stairs at work and know my heel would be slipping out. I wish they'd have worked because the leather is nice and soft and they look good, but I can't justify keeping them.

Very disappointed in these shoes. Love the brand but definitely NOT this shoe. Very light and if it had had any fit at all, this might have been a plus.

I’m very disappointed, as I was replacing the “same “ shoes which had lasted for years. While these are supposed to have leather uppers, the material looks cheap and plastic compared to the old shoes. They are also wide in the heel, but I’ve now worn them a couple of times and can’t return them.

This shoe is extra wide. It felt at least one size to long and the width was an invitation to a twisted ankle.
