I typically wear an 8.5 in dress shoes; these were miniscule. Couldn't even get my feet in them. I do like a stiffer shoe, so I'm hopeful that a 9 will be better. I do like the styling - simple but not matronly, athletic but dressy.

I was hoping this Merrell would have the same structure as the Jungle Moc, which I have worn for years, pair after pair. But alas, this is not the same The arch support is good, w hich is hard for me to find. But there are two main reasons I have to send them back:: The top of the shoe is not as flexible as the Jungle Moc, which has elastic on either side of the top, so that it's easier to slip into the shoe. This one has only a small bit of elastic t the very center of the top, and it doesn't work nearly as well. The other issue is the lack of padding around the heel, where the bare leather really scraped my skin.

I wanted so much to make these work. They are beautifully made, but feel more like a slipper than a solid support shoe, which is very different from my other Merrells. They were very snug and hard to get on, even with a very thin sock. The styling does not look good on me -- the upturned toe was very unflattering with my thin legs. Unfortunately, I returned them.

Nice looking shoe but have to send back cause wasn't as comfortable as I needed.

I tried these in my usual size and the opening of the shoe is too small to get my foot into the shoe unless I wear a ped (too difficult bare foot or with the thinnest of socks). Once on they are very comfortable, light weight and seem to be constructed of a quality leather. I tried one half size larger to see if this would make it easier to get the shoe on and off, but it doesn't and the shoe feels too loose once its on.

Probably very nice shoes, but run WAY more narrow than regular Merrells. I couldn't even get my foot in to see if I liked them

Very uncomfortable, very hard, and backs of shoes dug into the Achilles tendon. Very disappointing.

Second time ordering this shoe..still uncomfortable even a 1/2 size up. Leather is so stiff that it makes getting into the shoe most difficult. Can’t imagine they would soften up much.
