I normally wear a 9.5 in Merrell and purchased these in the same size - great fit. They do run a tad wide in the toe area, but thats perfect for me. I've read a lot of complaints about how Merrell shoes have gotten cheap looking. These could use a bit more padding inside, but the arch is terrific support. overall, satisfied.

I love Merrell's shoes and they are one of my preferred brands. This shoe is comfortable and very stylish in the fruit punch. I took one point away from overall because oddly these shoes squeak?! I have no idea why??? They are beautiful and appear to be well made. I rarely write reviews but wanted to warn buyers that if every time you take a step you hear a squeaking sound will bother you then this is not the pair for you. Why didn't I just return them. Other than the squeak...they are incredibly comfortable, good fitting, and very stylish!

I wanted to like this shoe. It seemed perfect to use as shoe for an upcoming active vacation. But the arch support bugged me. Maybe this is for folks who need a lot of arch support.

Unfortunately this shoe was a miss. The left show felt fine and supportive but the right one felt like the support was blown out of it. Stepping down, the toe strike felt as if I was hitting the ground directly. Not sure if there was an error in the construction of this particular pair but the right felt shoe like a completely different shoe from the left. Also it is a bit bulky so not the most fashionable but the colors are cool.

I wanted to LOVE them...the color is great but the arch seemed to hit me in the wrong place. I tried them with different types of socks but the arch was painful. Back they go. I LOVE Zappos return policy!

This brand has a good reputation but I found them to be very stiff and hard on the inside of the shoe. I had to buy soft foam inserts to walk in them. They are nice looking for sure. I may not purchase another pair. I work in retail and I need shoes that can stand a comfortable $11,000 steps in 5 hours which is average for me.

This is the 2nd pair of Merrell brand that I've tried. I now know that Merrell runs small. I am a true size 11 in New Balance, and the Merrell's are jsut a bit too narrow and short for my liking. Great looking shoes and comfortable, but they ran small.

Overall I liked the look, the seemed a bit bulky in comparison to my last pair of shoes I use for hiking (Altra Lone Peak 3) and also were narrower. They felt very warm after just a few minutes of wearing.

I love the look of these shoes but had to return because of the fit. The arch area is too narrow and cuts into the inside of my foot. I don’t have wide feet. Bummer.

I am running into similar issues with Merrell"s light weight hikers; the material on the sides of the shoes pushes into my feet where the laces attach. Several different models and this one is no different. Also, the length felt about 1/2 size small. Returned.

Merrell are my go-to shoes when it comes to comfort. I have been looking at this style since they were released. Unfortunately, this was not a Cinderella story for me. The arch felt like it was placed too far up on the sole so it was hitting at the ball of my foot. I wanted to love these but they did not work for me.

The first pair I ordered was a half size bigger than my ordered size, so my heel slipped when walking around to try them out. When I reordered a size down , they were perfect in size but felt too narrow across my toes. All in all, they were not comfortable, too stiff.

Satisfied in all respects.

I purchased the MQM in March for trail walking in the midwest. I'm a long-time Merrell fan, and these were perfect out of the box - absolutely no break-in time needed. I walked 3 miles the first day and had no problems at all. I need good arch support, and the Merrell MQM has excellent support but are very light. I've been walking almost daily for 5 months with these and they feel just as supportive as they did in March and are holding up well. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a supportive, lightweight, 3-season trail shoe.

These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever owned. They are light and feel like you are walking on air, I was happily surprised that these shoes required no break-in time whatsoever! I've hiked to 1,300 elevation, uphill for five miles and they did not hurt my feet at all. The grip is good as well, I felt pretty confident that I would not slip coming down loose rocky terrain and dry dirt, and they were secure. These shoes fit true to size, and I could not be happier with my purchase. Highly Recommend!

I have knee pain and this shoe provides really great support! They are so lightweight and not bulky. I'd wear these for a hike or a regular walk on the street.

I bought these for light trail walking and absolutely love them. I have hard to fit wide feet (narrow heel, high arch and instep, wide forefoot). I typically wear a 10 W, but these shoes in M fit my wide forefoot like they are made for me! They did take a short couple day break-in period to feel fully comfortable, but never chaffed or rubbed. They do not have a lot of cushion, which is why I deducted a star from comfort, but they have great lateral stability which I need as I tend to roll my ankles outward with medial stability shoes. I came back to get a pair in another color, and of course, they are sold out and now I can't find them in this version anywhere. Just an FYI, I bought the black and grey color, the grey is more like a navy blue, but they are a nice color and have a great pop of mint green so they're not too drab.
