As in previous experience since my first pair of Merrell hiking boots in late 80s - I love majority of my Merrells! I have been wearing this pair right out of the box since I received them, without a breaking in period. It provides excellent footing with our wet spring here in Portland, OR. My feet and ankles (although this is not a boot) feel well supported. I recommend this particular style.

This was my first time wearing a Merrell and I have been pleasantly surprised. I am a nurse and working 12 hour shifts with plantar fasciitis. I just put my orthotics up under the insole and away I have gone. My legs don't feel tired after a shift and I don't have the joint pain that goes along with poor arch support.

So happy I ordered these. I wear a 10 in most shoes, but always go a little bigger with any shoe I'm going to be exercising in. I wasn't sure about these based on some of the other reviews so I ordered both a 10 and 10.5 and ended up keeping both. The 10 has about 1/2 an inch room in the toe area and I'll wear those in the warmer months with thinner socks and I kept the 10.5 for winter when I wear a thicker sock. I recently went back to walking because running was destroying my knees, and I wanted some walking shoes that didn't look big and bulky like so many walking shoes do. These look great in person and are super comfortable. I walk about 3 miles in them every morning and haven't had any discomfort at all. The first morning I wore them I planned on only walking about 1/2 a mile to break them in, but kept going because they are so darn comfortable. They were a tiny bit snug in the width at first, but loosened up after only a few wearings. Great shoes and my knees are thanking me!

These are amazing. I am new to hiking. Using these in Tahoe - so comfy and soft. Love them! They are light with lots of cushion. Highly recommend

I've always worn Merrill hiking boots for their comfort and support and thought I'd try a lighter version for walking. Merrill did not disappoint! When I first put them on out of the box I thought the padding at the top of the heel might rub, but I wore them for an hour in the house and it wasn't a problem at all. I walked a few miles in them yesterday and a few more today and have to say they are awesome! I have high arches and appreciate the arch support; the toe box has some room but doesn't feel sloppy. I chose the Fruit Punch color which is fun, and the color and the fit make me feel energized with them on, and who can't use a little more of that?! I bought these for work as I need good support for my 12 hour shifts. I love them! I decided they were so cute I couldn't bear to use them for work. I wear them all the time and the support is awesome. Looks like I will buy another pair for work:)

I have to start by saying WOW!! This has to be my favorite Merrell shoe ever! The arch support is so good that I do not need any orthotics or arch pad at all. Some of you who do not have high arches may not like the height of the arch. I know my husband had to stop wearing Merrells after many years because their arch support has become more aggressive than his foot needs. But for me, they feel heavenly. Stability is excellent and my foot does not pronate at all. Traction seems great for wet conditions. The toe box is nicely rounded and also high enough to be forgiving of sore spots and they have the expected Merrell narrow heel for us gals. On top of that, they fit perfectly lengthwise (order whatever size you normally wear in athletic shoes) and look cute and the brightly colored laces stay perfectly tied without double knotting! I was afraid the grey/black color combo would be a bit dull, but ordered it since we're going into winter. It is definitely more attractive than it appears online thanks to the grey really having a lot of blue in it -- they look great with jeans and dark pants. Merrell hit it out of the ballpark with this one -- I love them so much I am keeping a pair of the Bluestone color for next Spring and Summer!

I bought the MQM flex and Siren Edge. I have skinny feet and high arches and my mid foot needed more support than running shoes when walking on the road. The MQM is more like an athletic shoe with just the right amount of moderate arch support. Plenty of toebox room. The Edge is more like a hiker. It cuddles the foot and is more rigid. It felt fine on my feet but the lack of shock absorption made my hips and knees ache using them on asphalt. Both fit perfectly in my usual Merrell size. I am keeping both. Both are super comfy for wearing around running errands. I will keep wearing the MQM for road walking the dogs and will save the Edge for trail walks.

This shoe is so colorful definitely not boring. Colors are true to the pictures. Very comfy and I can’t wait to wear them on out hiking excursions. I always wear a true 9 and I could have used a 8 1/2 in these but didn’t want to return.

I usually can't wear athletic shoes, but need some good walking shoes that aren't as heavy as a hiking boot. These had good reviews and a removable insole so I thought I would try them. I am so glad I did! They are comfortable and fit like a comfy hiking shoe. I have planters fasciitis and these are not enough arch support for my needs. However, I wear a 6.5 and they fit fine even with orthotics and socks right out of the box. My first athletic style shoe I can wear! Thank you Merrell. Love these Merrill’s. I use metatarsal orthotics in most footwear but don’t need it in these. The padding and support is excellent.

FINALLY! I have finally found a pair of trail shoes that fit me perfectly. The toe box is roomy and the shoes don't slip off my heels!

The reviews were right. This shoe is comfortable right out of the box. My normal shoe size is perfect for this shoe. It will be great for walking.

I'm a 60-something, overweight person with a really bad back. I bought these based on the reviews. The style is cute, the colors are good, and so far they feel great on my feet. Will check back once I've worn them for a month or so.

Attractive shoe, arch is very high

Definitely a great pair of shoes but needed a half size bigger!! My feet are a little wide and we’re hitting the sides a bit too much

I really liked these and for the money they are definitely worth it but I opted to keep a more expensive pair that was noticeably more comfortable. These would be good for a casual shoe if you're not looking to do a whole lot in it. They are breathable and not bulky. The arch support was lacking in my opinion which is the only reason I opted for the other brand.

I can wear a 9.5 or a 9 in Merrells. This one I took a 9. Toes box was wide and I had no toe rubbing. I still put a heel cushion in it for more cushioning. They appear to be well made. I wish they made this in a zero rise.

Very cute and well-made shoes. Unfortunately, I found them to be a bit on the narrow side and thus uncomfortable. Had to return.

Super gorgeous colors! I always wear 7.5 in athletic type shoes, ( 7 in regular styles), but these in the 7.5 seem a bit big. Colors are perfect for our upcoming Hawaii trip so I’m keeping them. I’ll just get thicker socks!

Found these shoes to be very cute, but too narrow for my feet. They also rubbed against my ankle bones immediately. I really like the look and style, but just not right for my feet.

I’m keeping these because they are nice-looking, weigh almost nothing and will help me keep up with our new puppy! The toe area feels too wide, but since I have a curved toe on one foot, I feel they will work for me, so I just laced them tighter.

So far so good. nice fit through the toes with plenty of room for my wide feet throughout. I also like that the sole of the shoe is dark colored. I don't buy white soled shoes as they tend to get dirty and then makes the whole shoe look old.

They are very comfortable and lightweight, not as stiff as my Gore-Tex Salomon trail running shoes. They are great for wide feet. Tested in light rain once so far and they kept my feet dry. I wish there are more colors to choose from.
