Like the colors and support. Felt large - wide and long. Cannot figure out how to exchange for smaller size vs return, so will return with 4 other pair I decided against.

Had to return these because they were just too short. They are lovely and I wish they had fit. Wishing better luck to other buyers.

Kept trying to make these work but they just didn't fit my picky feet so I'm (sadly) returning them. Sizing seems pretty true... maybe a little short (I found this definitely the case in the Goretex version of the same style). Arch support was decent but not excessive. Width is pretty straight but fit my wide forefoot and narrow heel ok. Shoes were cute in the grey and really well built. I only wore them in the house so can't speak to the sole traction but it seemed like they'd be a good fit for light trail hiking or tromping around town.

Really wanted to like this hiking show. But doesn't have enough arch support and it's very stiff and high around the ankle.

I generally love merrells. These felt rather stiff for me. Like more suited for hiking rather than a casual, everyday walking around town shoe. I tried them while on the treadmill and didn't find them as comfortable as other merrells.

Wanted a hiking/athletic shoe that felt similar to my Merrell Jungle Moc (8.5). Usually I wear a 9 in sneakers b/c I leave room for my feet to swell a little and I like a roomy toe box; but these were too big. Not only were they too long but they were too wide and my heel slipped around quite a bit when walking. I could have made them work with thick socks, but they just weren't comfortable. The arch support felt different between the left and right shoe which made my gait feel unsymmetrical. Love Merrell. Didn't love this shoe. Will keep shopping.

I feel like I can't rate this shoe with any stars because it wouldn't be an accurate assessment. I was super excited about this shoe because the reviews were great and I've always heard positive things about Merrell shoes. However, they were so terribly small that I could barely get my entire foot in the shoe. I was rather disappointed because the vast majority of reviews said they were true to size. I'm a pretty standard size 8 and there is NO way I could have even comfortably stood up with this shoe on my foot. Unfortunately, I had to return them immediately.

I wanted to love these sneakers; the colors are truly beautiful. But they felt too cumbersome and too lofty. Just too much shoe for me.

I bought this shoe based on a suggestion from Merrell as a substitute for the discontinued Grassbow Sport Waterproof Trail Running Shoe. The fit was nothing like the Grassbow. Instead the toe box is quite wide and the arch support is uncomfortable within a few seconds of trying them on. Unfortunately I had to return them and still don't have a substitute for the Grassbow.

For me, these shoes felt a half size longer than what I normally wear (in a Keen). I held them up to my current shoes and it seems to be the case. I was hoping for a wider toe box. I returned them and got an 8, but that was much too narrow for my feet. I like the look of the shoes, I just wish it was made in a wide. Sorry to say they were returned and I am having to try another shoe altogether.

The 9.5 was too small, and the 10 was too use. My foot is hard to fit so I would have kept the 10 anyway and worn thick socks but I need more arch support than these have to offer. My quest for light hikers continues.

I try out new shoes for a couple of hours at once. When I put these on, I thought they were a little wide in the forefoot but comfortable soles. I tried them for a couple of hours and thought I had found my Merrell Moab replacement. My feet were fine after I took them off. However, the next day, the soles of my feet were sore and my calves ached. The only explanation was these shoes. I’m very disappointed. I didn’t even give them a second chance. Btw, the shoelaces are about six inches too short if you use all of the eyelets. Returning. I use my own insoles so I can’t comment on arch support.
