Glad I finally ordered a pair of new shoes from you. My husband is on his third pair of hikers and pleased as well.

I have been a Merrell fan for years.. I bought these shoes for work but now only run around town in them. I seriously think I am the only person who has a pair that squeaks. I bought the fruit punch .. colors are fun and oh so awesome. I am a pediatric dentist and love to have fun shoes for work. I sadly quit wearing them at work because I couldn't stand the noise.. it's not from the sole gripping the ground but from somewhere inside the shoe. Hmmm ok .. so I stopped wearing them at work .. heads were turning as I zipped through the hospital it was sounding like I belonged in a cartoon instead of the halls of the hospital and clinic... lol.. sadly it's starting to annoy me when I just wear them around town. Not sure what to do or if there is any way to stop that noise. At first it was only the left shoe and now it's not. So only 4 stars .. if they didn't make so much noise I'd have given them 5 stars.

Very well made & true to size. It does have a noticeably high arch support. It feels comfy and lightweight like a tennis shoe, yet is very well made with a firm sole and grip (good for the feet!). Looks great on, too!

I've used them twice now. 5 mile and 8 mile moderately strenuous hikes with some rocky areas. No break in period needed. No blisters. Overall pretty comfy. I like the arch support. Could use a little more cushion for the footbed.

I am on my second pair of MQM Flex hikers. I got my first pair just prior to a 93-mile section hike from Amicalola Falls to Deep Gap, NC, last May. I had had problems with a different shoe and didn't have much time at all to break them in and they were great! We are going to thru the AT in 2020, so I started to worry I wouldn't find these shoes easily on resupply and experimented with other shoes this spring -- and am right back in the MQM. Overall the shoe has some great things going for it. It's light, it dries quickly, it breathes. The bottoms of my feet don't get sore when I'm going over a lot of rocks. For me personally, the fit is comfortable and works well with my arches, etc. My wish list that would take it from a 4.5 (which wasn't an option) to a 5 are a few specifics, though. First and foremost, this shoe isn't very grippy on wet rock. I'm pretty concerned about that for the AT, but I am going to test it out more this winter and hopefully it will be sticky enough to stay my go-to shoe. Secondly, I would really, really like gaiter attachments, at least at the back, because the velcro adhesive kind do NOT stay on these shoes no matter where I put them. Gaiters keep the laces cleaner, keep gravel and rocks out of my shoes, etc., and so I am constantly having to replace or reattach the velcro. Finally, a little wider toe box would be a good thing. I don't have any blisters or issues rubbing, but more freedom in the toe box would be welcomed, and I may actually end up going up another half size if they do end up my AT shoes.

These shoes are great. I enjoy the colours! I now do not get foot cramps or pain. Now I recommend Merrell shoe brand for my friends. Thank You!!

My toenails are a little bruised from sliding forward because this shoe is not as soft as other Merrell designs, but I will try a tighter shoe lace tie and see how that goes. Love the shoes they are thick enough to protect from rocks, but not stiff.

Shoe is wider than expected and as a result there is a decent amount of heel slip. Have just started breaking them in so far, but they are nice and light, fairly comfortable and pretty good at keeping debris out. The colour is great and fun as well. No pressure points that I have noticed so far. So far so good.
