These shoes were an almost immediate "no" for me. The arch support didn't line up with my foot, so it felt off from the moment I put them on. The toes curl up higher than the average shoe, so it felt off there too. The soles weren't very thick, which could be good or bad, depending on what you wanted. The mesh seemed like it would be breathable and keep your foot cool, but I didn't keep them on long enough to find out.

The insole in this shoe is odd. It is large / high on the outside of the foot, where you would expect it to lie flat. I ordered a larger size, just in case that was the issue.

The placement of the arch support for this shoe is not compatible with my foot shape, so I had to return them.

I purchased this product less than 5 months at a hospital.they was having a uniform sell and it was very expensive but they were comfortable.the only problem I had was material didn't last because the mesh started busting open on the side of the shoes and you could see my socks.i was very disappointed with the material.

I do not find these shoes as comfortable or supportive as I expected. They have an elastic quality to them whereas I prefer shoes that are more rigid. Everything "gives" in these shoes, including the shoelaces. I am still keeping them, but they are not nor they will ever be my most comfortable shoes.

I really like the look and feel of these shoes. However the seam placement of the tongue is unfortunate in that it is bulky and puts pressure over the big toe ligaments and pressure points. Making it uncomfortable to walk in for long periods of time.

Did not work well with my orthotics. Too shallow in the heel. My waterproof Siren Sport Q2 were perfect but it seems the model I love is no longer available here. I found it on another site.

Excellent quality - needed a 1/2 size larger than my normal walking/jogging shoe but 1/2 size bigger was too big on one foot [one foot is larger than another]

I really wanted to love these shoes. I usually wear a 8.5 or 9M in Merrell's. I ordered the 9, it was too tight, so I had to return them. I ordered the 9.5 and they are still tight. My toes reach the end of the shoe, so uncomfortable. Really cute shoe but not for me, back they go.

I purchased these hiking shoes in May. They fit as expected, are comfortable and I love the way that they look (the black goes well with everything). They also vent really well which was what I needed. Unfortunately after only two months of wearing them at work regularly, they've started to tear and fall apart. I was hoping for them to at least last the summer.

I owned two pair of this shoe in different colors. I have given it 5 stars, however; since I live in Miami FL, it's been raining a lot. I use this shoe every day and to my surprise, they slip when walking on rain or wet surfaces. I even slipped getting in the car. I felt once and aggravated my back problems. Shouldn't this shoes have better traction? That's what's labeled in the sole.

This shoe is very cute and fit fine, but it just wasn't very comfortable. It felt very stiff and not as cushiony as the other Merrell (Siren Edge) that I bought.

These shoes fit great and feel great on my feet except the tongue digs into my ankles. It is the only issue but a very annoying one. I really wish the tongue is shorter or made like the other hiking shoes you offer. I've been wearing Merrell's for over 15 years. I'll be on the search for another great pair of Merrell's. Just really wish these worked for me.

I really really loved the style of these shoes. The metatarsal cushioning is a super nice feature. Unfortunately, the heel is rather wide and so my foot has been sliding around quite a lot after the first week of wearing them, resulting in some lingering discomfort. It's possible that I was mislead regarding what size I should get. Wishing they could keep my foot in place without pulling the laces so tight that I can't feel the top of my foot. I work in a hospital and am running around all day long. So be sure of the fit before you commit!

These shoes run small and seem poorly constructed. I usually wear size 11 and needed 11 1/2, but the larger size had a bunch of 'material' where the tongue was attached to the shoe. If I didn't wear orthotics they may have worked. I have worn several pairs of merrell shoes and these were not the same quality. I also read similar reviews of these shoes at REI - the problem with the tongue and the way it was sewn on.

This shoe is good for pavement, even, flat trails, They are definitly NOT good for downhill, rocky or uneven ground. The uppers don't give good support and the soles don't give good traction. The fit is ok. If all you do is walk on flat pavement then I would recommend them--definitely NOT for hiking.

I had high hopes for this shoe, especially since the color was dark black. They fit OK, but the inner seam of the right shoe along where the lacing occurs protruded out. I couldn't get the seam to lay flat. The left shoe was fine. I would have return it for a replacement, but disliked how the shoe laced with ribbon as the anchor for the laces. I couldn't get the laces to lie flat. They curled. I didn't want to remove the laces to re-lace the shoes because of the ribbon anchors between the lace holes. Too much effort. 3rd pair of Merrell's returned in less than a year. Never had these problems before.

The Shoe seemed stiff for my purposes and when I put my orthotic in it it was even stiffer.

I have been wearing Merrell shoes at work for almost 10 years. This pair ran noticeably more narrow that any of the previous previous pairs I've owned. I knew they would be on the thinner and sleeker side, but they did not have much support and felt flimsy.

I was super happy with these shoes! Very comfortable but after no more than 6 months with a light use, I already had a hole in the mesh. When I took a closer look inside the shoe with the hole, the mesh was really thin in that shoe compared to the other one, not sure if that was a manufacture problem. Really disappointed since I normally enjoy Merrill shoes.

These shoes looked great, fit well, and were very comfortable right from the start. However, they did not last very long at all. I bought them to wear to work and they have only been worn indoors. I have had them for about four months and all of the mesh in the front toe area has worn through and I can no longer wear them. So although I loved them at first they have been a disappointment.

It seems that each time I order Merrell shoes they get less well maded than the previous pair of Merrells. So disappointed with this last pair, do not believe that they are suitable for hiking, shoes don't have as much support as other Merrells that I own...don't think I'll be ordering any more Merrells, as like I said, each pair that I order gets cheaper and cheaper made

I wanted this Merrells to work. I expected they would fit like the Maipos model, but no, they are way too tight, only to be used with thin socks. I wanted to wear them in Spring and Fall with my Smatwool PhD ankle socks, but that's impossible. Wish they made them in wide.
