This shoe is lightweight and airy but still provides good support for walking. I like to wear them out on the boat when fishing as the soles provide solid footing on watery surfaces. What I liked most about these shoes was the color. It's nice to have summery colors. I was so pleased with my purchase, I went back and bought the white and lilac pair. One thing I can say about Merrell, every pair I own, from the first day of putting them on my feet, they fit perfectly. Unlike other shoes, there isn't a "break in" period necessary.

Love this shoe. Fits my orthotic perfect. Love the color and after one full day of wear my feet did not hurt. Look forward to sporting these on my Europe trip

I was cruising around DWS and found these. I did not intend to buy any shoes that day but tried them on just for kicks. The moment I put them on my feet were happy. They fit prefectly. I walk a lot for work. I also walk to and from work. I have been suffering from plantar fascititis and felt very supported in this shoe. I don't have the best arches. I am hoping that these help with my problem. Very excited. I can see how they may not be the best off roading trail shoe. You do feel wind inside which is nice when your feet get hot, but prob not the best for water, dust ect. But I think they will be great for my excessive walking tendancies and light hiking.

I also have these in black, and I'm probably going to buy another color next month.
They're really comfortable once you know your Merrell size (a full size larger for me than my street shoe size). They're mesh, very light and cool, but allow a bit too much grit in, and are probably not quite durable enough, to be serious hiking shoes for me (I have Moabs for that). Because they look nice, they're perfect for work or for walking on non-sandy paths or any activity where you need comfortable shoes that can get active in a pinch but don't look like clodhopper hiking boots.

This shoe is very comfortable. It has lower profile and a more polished appearance than most hiking shoes. As a result, it is great for casual office days as well on the trail!

I walk in concrete floors all day. This is the 1st time in ten years my feet don't hurt when I get home from work. I will be ordering another pair soon .

I love these shoes! They're supportive yet very lightweight. I did put a set of Powerstep insoles in them, as I do in all my shoes, and that combination made them absolutely perfect for my feet. This is a very comfortable, well-built high quality shoe. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I ordered these pair of shoes after purchasing the Siren Hex Q2 water proof. The shoes are beautiful, run true to size, and offer excellent alignment and stability. The mesh keep my feet cool since I live in Miami, FL. I'm using them for every day use. I couldn't be happier

Must confess, I purchased this shoe mostly for the aqua color, which I love. The first time I wore them hiking, I feel in the love with both the way they fit my feet and how lightweight they are. Of course, the beautiful aqua color makes them perfect for me; hence, I am buying a second pair for the future!

I had a really hard time finding all black hiking shoes that were simple, practical and attractive. I wanted good supportive hiking shoes that weren't too bulky and didn't have 6 colors in the design. Finally I found these shoes and they tick all the boxes. These are comfy, supportive, they look good and are priced fairly. They don't make my feet look enormous and go with my work out/hiking gear. Thank you for finally making an all black hiking shoe! Almost impossible to find if you can believe... I've also worn them jogging and found them great for that too.

These shoes were comfortable and felt great right out of the box, however, the side support, which I need, came up just a bit too far on my bunion so I knew the toe box, even though mesh, would not stretch enough to accommodate it so I returned them for a different style.

I loved the look of these but found them to be on the small side. They seemed to be nice and lightweight and quite comfortable. May try 1/2 size larger.

Love the color green and the lace look of the mesh. Always have had a good fit with Merrell shoes but these seemed narrow compared to my last pair of sneakers so I don't wear them all day I think they may be getting better, the length is fine. I wish they had that pull loop on the heel.

This is a very nice trail shoe. I thought the fit was very comfortable almost glove-like. I had to return because I have a problem with my little toe on my left foot and the lacing on that shoe pushed against my toe (this was not a problem with the shoe construction.) I like the lightweight of the shoe and though the sole was a plastic type composite it did seem to grip well while wearing them in my home. If they were a tad wider I would have kept them and been very satisfied. The color (granite) was nice and did not make my size 10 feet look huge. I also liked that there wasn't a lot of bulky padding at the tongue and collar.

The soles of the shoes were very comfortable, by my heal slipped up and down, and the finishing on the tongue bothered where it rubbed my foot. It also looked very long on my foot for a trainer. Didn't purchase.

Loved the look of the shoe and the feel of the flatter tongue, but felt a bit small (even when compared to another Merrell sneaker). Going to return and order half size up.

Attractive though sadly too small for an actual size 10 women's. I was looking forward to having a pair of Merrells and the looks didn't disappoint. However no way could an insert fit into the shoe. Previously worn ADIDAS and Saucony women's 10 with an insert without issue.

I preferred the original siren which felt more airy to me but this one is a good lightweight boot. Fit like a glove, very comfortable. I had to replace the thin insole with one with more metatarsal arch support. I think the original siren had more support but maybe my feet have just gotten worse. I'm waiting to see if the new sole is as good as vibram.

I have flat feet, nerve damage and other foot problems. I like these shoes, they seem comfortable and fit well. I need a shoe with more stability, sole protection and support. I liked the shoe, they did not suit my needs.
I'd also recommend:

Great! Very roomy in the toe but I appreciated it when hiking downhill. I wore these for 1.5 weeks hiking in water, slot canyons, and desert in Southern Utah. I tried 3 other types of shoes before these and these were by far the most comfortable. 95% of the shoes I wear are an 8.5, that is the size I purchased for these, and they fit perfectly. My favorite part is the lacing, the reinforced toe, and the super firm soles for hiking on rocky trails and in water. My only complaints are that they stained easily (see photo) and I wish there were more color options (something super bright and flashy would have been nice)
