Our son is on his feet walking outdoors all day long. He needed a shoe that looked dressy so we went with this amazing shoe. His feet have never hurt one day and he's been alternating two pair of CAYDs for the past 16 months. His flat mates have expressed that their feet hurt everyday as they are putting in the same milage. He mentioned that they have also held up amazingly well. He said that he will get through his 2 year mission with these two pair and that the soles aren't nearly as worn down as the shoes of others who have been out as long as he has. He has worn them in cold weather and hot and they have been amazing!

Extraordinarily comfortable shoe! I've had two pairs each in black and brown. Now I've worn the brown soles down to nothing, and I'm despondent--I'm desperately trying other shoes to replace my Cayds, and nothing comes close! These have ruined me for lesser shoes. Please please bring them back!!!

Phenomenal, I've owned these shoes for a year and half now and I have never had a day I wasn't happy to be in them. Every material used is perfect for the shoe. Did you can avoid it, don't scrub them with soap and water. I recommend regularly conditioning the leather outer. It's not going to freak out if you don't l, but it makes the shoe past a ton longer if you do. The only thing I've had to replace is the laces. They gave out after a year or so, not a big deal whatsoever. I will wear these shoes till they slit in half, and then I will buy another pair. They are that good. They are so comfortable they are like an extension of my foot. It's hard to wear other shoes now that my feet have worn these.

Please restock these shoes! There is nothing else like them on the market with the same combination of style, zero drop, wide toe box, leather upper + cushioning. Thank you!!!

A perfect casual shoe when you want something between sports shoe and dress shoe. Stylish but understated. Comfortable and good for walking.

These are the best shoes I have ever worn. I work in a restaurant and walk 5 to 10 miles a day. I have had foot pain for years and need a certain fit... These are the certain fit! My pain is gone and I am scared of what will happen when I need another pair and they are not available. Please bring them back!!!

These are my favorite shoes - comfortable, dressy enough, and robust. I would buy a lifetime supply of them if they were available. I was extremely disappointed to see that Altra has discontinued them - there are dozens of variations of every conceivable type of athletic shoe, but one type of "normal" shoe, and it's discontinued! It doesn't make sense. Please bring it back.

It is very hard for me to find shoes that fit at all-- let alone well. I really hope you will restock these! Does anyone respond to these comments. I will start hunting for a good shoe elsewhere is the are gone.

These are the best shoe I have ever used. I wore them on vacation to Santa Fe and forgot my hiking boots. I spent a week hiking in them, dusted the red rock off of them, and have worn them at work for the last year. I wear them commuting to and from work and haven't even worn down the soles yet. I am known as "The Great Destroyer of Shoes." I can wear though the fabric of almost any shoe with my toe. These shoes do not quit. Please bring them back..I'll pay twice as much! I don't care.

Too bad these are being discontinued. I need completely black shoes for my job These shoes were perfect right from out of the box. I walk over 5 miles on a shift and boy these shoes didn't let me down. I'm tempted to buy another pair before they disappear.

I have bought these again and again. I love these shoes. Please, restock this. It is a wonderful design. This shoe is the reason I no longer have plantar fasciitis. They utterly eliminated the pain I was living with. I am so thankful my doctor recommended these. I love this company. Love it. Hurray! I recommend this company all the time. Thank you.

It looks like a lot of people need this shoe. We have a really hard time finding a shoe that fits us and is suitable for work, We finally found it. Then Altra discontinued it. WHY? Bring it back "by popular demand"

I had to adjust my size up a half size to get a proper fit. But I also learned that I had been wearing my shoes a little smaller than I should have. This is one of my favorite shoes I have owned in the past 20 years. I have worn a lot of styles and types. I love a sturdy casual shoe. I work in a dressed up by casual environment and this hit that niche beautifully. I loved the fit, look, and feel of these so much I bought two pairs on the same day. To my dismay however I was buying them at the Outlet and found they might discontinue this shoe. Please please please bring this back. Having the quality and fit of Altria's I something I can confidently wear with slacks, shirt and tie.

I am a woman but bought the man's model because you didn't have a woman's version. Would like to see more women's dress models.

The only shoe I have found with a wide enough toe bone AND that fits my orthoticsI'm on my 4 th pair worn daily on long dog walks in hills and trails, the first pair lasted 5 years til a slight slash in the sole is starting to let some dirt ingotta have these shoes! Please continue to make them none available in my size today, what's a Cayd wearer to do? Please makes a size 10, thanks. Let me know when that size is available please.

This is the only shoe I can wear. It is unbelievably comfortable. Please keep on making them!!!!!

You should bring these back asap. I bought 3 pair so far. If I knew you would discontinue these I would have bought 5.

please make these again with the white sole - it's really the only shoe I'll ever need to wear again - the most versatile, everyday show, climb a mountain in them, play 18 holes, run through a river or go to a wedding

This is one of the best shoes that Altra makes I wear them to work, and with jeans and shorts, the wide toe box and original foot shape is excellent for comfort and foot health, but unfortunately for all of us that love this shoe we a saddened to learn it is being discontinued. I feel like we need to write and call Altra and express our desire to have a similar shoe in their product line up or keep manufacturing the Cayd. #CaydLivesMatter
