These shoes are PURPLE/VIOLET. The description as "deep cosmic sky/marblehead" would indicate, to me anyway, that they are grey and dark blue. NOT. PURPLE!! Ugh....I hate purple and will be returning these things.

I've worn New Balance 574 for years and the fit of these is unlike the rest. They run super small and they added padding in the wrong area of the heal, which causes the heal to slip. The fit is just all wrong. Not sure why they messed with the 574...they've been perfect for years! Bummer.

I'm super sad that other reviewer's were correct about these being soooooo narrow for a NB wide. I usually wear a NB 7.5 wide (in their snow boots and athletic styles) but these felt like a narrow even in an 8. For looks, I'd give them 5 stars but for fit, no stars.
