I've been running 40+ years and these are by far the most comfortable running shorts I've found! For reference, 5;6" 117# and the small fit perfect

Great product, just too short for me!

The chaser 5" is my favorite running short! This is my 4th pair. I wear these for both running and Crossfit style workouts. They are super light weight but with enough fabric that I feel covered. Also, the waist band is wonderful - thick and supportive. My only complaint is that I'm in between sizes. I weigh between 130 and 135 depending go the day, am 5'6"" and have a very athletic build. The small is a teensy bit too big for me, but I can't fit in the XS. I don't mind having a little space in my shorts.

These shorts are very cute and comfortable. They do bunch up a little bit in the crotch area when I run, but it's not terrible and they're still one of my favorite pairs of shorts.

I ordered a small and have worn small/medium Brooks shorts in the past. The inner lining is a little snug but is otherwise comfortable. How about more colors? I am 5'2" and 119 lbs.

The length of this short is excellent - it doesn't get in the way on a long run, but if I go straight to the grocery store after I'm not worried about having any butt cheek showing. The only issue is I've found the underwear liner shrinks over time which makes it awkward to wear without something underneath.

I love these shorts, but not for running. They're super comfortable, light weight, and great for many activities, but when I run they bunch up too much.

I wish it had a drawstring. I purchased a Medium and it fit me great on my waist, but was a little tight around my thighs (I am a bit T H I C), so I also got a Large. The Large ended up being too big on my waist but perfect around my thighs! Hoping they add drawstrings then I could have the perfect short < 3

Love the waist & feel of them. They sit a little below the belly button, which is the place I would like to have a little more coverage/support.

I purchased these shorts in Navy size Medium (I am 44, 5'5" 146lbs heavier around the tummy and thighs). I don't normally wear this type of short. They are very comfortable and the fabric is stretchy without being heavy and sticky. These shorts are short. And because of the openness of the hem, they seem to get shorter when I bend over or sit down (duh). I really like them despite all of this. In fact, I ordered another pair in a large. They wash very well and always look brand new. The only thing I would definitely change is the underwear in them. The elastic around my leg is tight...tighter than my undies, so It makes my butt look like I'm wear two pair of britches!

Love the material of these shorts and the wide waste band. I don't love that the slits on the side literally go all the way up, so if you are sitting down it just looks like you have underwear on. I would only wear these for a run and nothing else. No group fitness classes that require core work on the floor or out to the park with my kids.... I just don't need the world seeing alllllll of my legs up to my underwear line. But for just running- they're great. :)

Was SO excited about these shorts, however, needed to return them. The pocket did not properly fit my phone so I could listen to music while running.

LOVE these shorts! So comfortable and don't ride up. My only wish would be for a pocket big enough to hold a phone. If they had that, these would be my marathon shorts for sure.

These shorts are really comfortable to wear every day/around-the-house. Love the range of motion in them. Good fabric. I chafed really bad when I ran in them. The liner in them is a bit too small for a girl with an athletic booty. I like the larger waistband; I just wish it had a draw string as my body weight fluctuates when I train.

Love the length and the feel of the fabric. I just wish the waistband was a little wider/higher.

Great fit in the waist band and flattering. These don't make my butt look flat like other brands do. The only thing I would change is maybe a little more coverage in the built in undie. Will definitely buy more. Looking forward to wearing on warmer days, walks and occasional runs.

I love these shorts! I'm adjusting to the panty liner in the shorts. I have a heart shaped hind end. So it feels like the liner is sliding in. I highly recommend these to others. The price is good. I have several pairs and will be buying more of them!

I love the feel on my legs and inner thighs. There are no friction areas on my legs/pelvis with long runs. I bought blue and black size medium shorts. The blue medium is slightly smaller and right on my lower waist. On bloated days the waist band digs in slightly. The waist band is not flexible/stretchy. 5'6 140# muscular with 29" waist.

I read the reviews and decided this would be a better fit and I was wrong. Too long and runs true to size. I ordered a medium due to reviews and needed a small (I wear a 4 pant, 6 lulu, small athleta). The pocket does not fit a modern phone which is the reason I bought them. They are nice shorts but I think I'd like the 3 inch better

Comfortable waistband and liner. I appreciate the fact that there is no tie as ties just look bulky under your shirt. My only wish would be for a narrower leg opening. I have a straight waist and narrow hips with normal athletic legs. I feel like there is too much fabric around the thighs, like little wings. I will continue to work out in these shorts, but my search continues for something both functional and flattering. These have 5 star functionality and 3 star flattery for an overall 4 stars. If you have full thighs you'll love them.

I love this short, but was immediately disappointed because of the phone pocket size. The reason I bought these was because the image lead me to think I could run with my phone in the pocket and leave my storage band at home. Nope. The XR is too large to fit in this pocket and I still have to wear the belt. That said, the shorts are super comfortable, airy, haven't bunched up on a long run and are generally awesome. I wish you guys could make these with a longer waistband pocket though.

The only reason I didn't give these a full five starts is no pocket big enough for a phone; they're just not really long enough for it. Otherwise, they're totally perfect. Material dries quickly. Super comfortable. True to size. I'm 5'8" and longest through the thigh so I need extra length in a short. I also purchased the Chaser 7" and (while the 7" do have room for a real pocket) the 7s feel a little "granny style" if you are someone who cares about the fashion aspect. The 5" are long enough for my t h i c c thighs without being frumpy.
