These short legs ride up when running. :( I was looking for shorts that were longer so that they do not ride up when running. For those of us with a little extra to shake what our mamma gave us, doesn't mean we want our thighs rubbing together when we run! Why is it so hard to find cute shorts that do not ride up.

I have tried on many running shorts but these are by far my favorite; so much so I own 4 pairs and only run in these! I have an athletic build, a bigger butt and thighs. For this reason, I had problems with shorts that didn't ride up or chafe. Because of the slit on the side, I never have to pull bunched up shorts out of my crotch. The large slit allows for me to move my legs in all directions without compromising comfort and provide nice ventilation on hot days. The material is thin and wicking, but not see through. The thicker waist band doesn't cut into my sides, causing muffin tops. The 5" are a perfect length, they aren't too short or too long. My only complaints are that these run a little small and they need a drawstring. I typically wear a size medium but in these, it was a little tight in my butt so I sized up. As a result, my shorts are too big in the waist so a drawstring would make them perfect (plus I prefer drawstrings in all my running bottoms). It's actually pretty easy to cut the inside material and add your own drawstring which I have done to all four pairs. Overall, I definitely recommend these shorts. I really hope Brook's continues to make these. In the meantime, I plan on stocking up just in case they don't.

SIZE UP! I wear an 8-10 in jeans/shorts, but the Medium was WAAAAY too small!

I have tried many companies shorts before trying these. These are the absolute perfect running shorts for me! I was so satisfied that I immediately purchased a second pair after my first run. I have since donated all my other running shorts and have just these for my summer running.

Love them I now own 3 pairs.

If you have long legs, these are definitely WAY shorter than on the model. I love them!! They don't ride up or slide down and I think they're the perfect length. I'd buy again! They're great!

I normally like the chaser 7, I had a few pairs and absolutely love them. First time I bought the chaser 5, it a bit short on me because I'm almost 6 feet tall and 46 years old, but I like them the only thing I miss is the 2 front pockets from the chaser 7, i don't really put anything there when I'm running but I like to my hands there after a long run. Overall the fabric is fantastic and they are very comfortable on the summer, sometimes I wear them out with a tshirt and sneakers just to go run some errands.

So comfortable! Love the feel and the slight stretch of the fabric.

Best thing I can say is I gave no thought to them which means they are very comfortable and had complete freedom of movement. The 5" length is perfect for me as it provides coverage without hindering movement. They also are lightweight which helps with Florida humidity.

So comfortable! The waist band is snug enough not to ride up or down but not so much that it is too tight or causes chafing. Smooth, light fabric. No riding up on the legs during running. Flattering fit.

Super cute and comfy! I am not one to wear shorts but love that these are cute and also do not ride up.

I love these shorts. If I could replace all of my shorts with these, I would. That they're shorter on the outside and longer in the inseam helps to avoid chafing, the band is soft so it never feels uncomfortable, and I love the slit in the side. The only issue I ran into was not being able to get the size I wanted because Brooks had run out!

Very comfortable shorts. I'm 5'4 and 135 lbs and like the medium. The small were to tight for me. They are light weight and offer good coverage with the length. I was worried they maybe too short but they were perfect.

No riding up or down, no tightness, no chafing, no constriction. Flattering cut and length. Wish all my running and Pickleball gear was as easy to move in.

I love these shorts - I have two pairs and am *this* close to getting another. They're super comfortable for a warm-weather run, but also not overly "runner-y" where I don't feel weird running errands in them. I've struggled finding running shorts that were the right length in the past. Glad I've found it with these!

Bought these before and liked them. Wish they had black.

Love these shorts but if a very hot day where you may sweat a lot while running they may ride up (7 inch shorts do not ride up and recommend those too)

These are, to date, the only pair of shorts I haven't constantly re-adjusted when running. Between chafing and shorts riding up, I've always resorted to wearing pants in the past...but when it's 90 degrees, something's gotta give. These are long enough to prevent thigh rub (I'm curvy in the thigh / hip area), and short enough to be cute, flattering, and fashionable. The inner liner keeps them in place, and the thicker, flat waistband lands right where it should. Couldn't recommend these more for curvier runners. (5'4 / 140lbs and I wear a size L in these)

I absolutely love running in these shorts. They don't ride up at all on my runs and the length is perfect! I love these so much I now have them in 4 different colors.

Hands down my favorite running short ever. Light and loose without being too short. I'm 48 years old and am not shy about showing my legs, but no one needs to see my butt hanging out of teeny shorts! These are just the right length and super flattering. I purchased one pair then came back for three more. Does not ride up...but does run small. I'm usually a medium / size 8 in all my clothes (5'10", 155lbs), but I went off the actual measurements and a large fit me best.

I often have chafing issues on long runs, but not with these shorts! I'll have to replace my other shorts with more of these!

I have been wearing them everyday since the day i got them. I might buy more just so i have a spare one when one is in the washer.

Best shorts ever. Great for running, walking or just hanging out.
