These sneakers are horrible!! They have no cushion and now I have a really bad foot injury. I tend to run 4 miles a day 5 days a week and had no foot problems on my old shoes. Shortly after I started wearing these, the ball of my foot started hurting! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SHOE. I wish I could return them, but zappos won't let you if you wore the item.

I have been a loyal asics customer for years and years. I settled into the asics Gel-Nimbus 13 and have pretty much stayed with this shoe over the years. The Gel-Nimbus 18 was about as good as a shoe can get, and from the reviews that I have read, I am not alone in feeling this way.
Change for the sake of change is not good. Especially if you are swapping out the best shoe for something of lesser quality, comfort, fit and function.
Please consider bringing the Gel-Nimbus 18 back as the Gel-Nimbus 20 does not offer the comfort, structure, and ride that the Gel-Nimbus 18 provided.

I do not like these shoes bc they are very painful. They have no cushion. Running in them felt like a hammer was pounding the outer edges of my feet. I have never experienced pain in the outer edge of my feet. There is an upward slope like an arch in the outer edge of the sole of the shoe, I guess this awkward shape is what was jabbing me. This shoe is incredibly painful.

Not a good purchase. I've been a faithful wearer of the Gel Nimbus running shoes for more years than I can even remember. That means I've gone through many iterations of the shoe. Each one was a little different but I assumed that meant improvement, and I got used to any subtle differences. With faith in this line, I bought the Gel Nimbus 19 in fall 2017. Like many other reviewers of that shoe, I found the toe box to be very tight. I also found it tight across the bridge of my foot. I took a leap of faith and bought the 20, hoping Asics listened to reviewers and made improvements. Other than having an attractive color scheme, this shoe is very disappointing! It is stiff and very uncomfortable. There is more room in the toe box but still too tight in that area and across the bridge of my foot. The 20 doesn't have the same amount of gel cushioning as Nimbus' of old. Feels like a lesser quality than prior models. Very reluctantly I'm giving up on Asics and looking elsewhere. Maybe I'll check back when the 21 is released if I'm not comfortable in another brand pick. Asics, why didn't you leave things alone?? The l6's, 17's and 18's were great.

I am disappointed in these ASICS. I have worn ASICS for over 10 years and have loved all of them up until now. The Nimbus 20 felt tight all around the foot, even though I ordered my usual size. I wore them to Disney World and they were so uncomfortable I felt like my toes were going to fall off. In fact 2 of my toenails did turn black! Terrible! I am so bummed I spent a hefty price for shoes I will never wear again. I will be trying Brooks as my next running shoe brand.

Shoes size runs small & narrow to actual size. The heel cushion seems to be overstuffed or feels too hard and it pushes my toes forward, rubbing against the front material. Arch support seems minimal for a neutral shoe. Overall, this running shoe feels quite stiff.

This shoe is exquisite except that it is too tight in the forefoot/toe area even in the women's wide size. There are two plastic overlays that may be constricting the shoe in that area. I wish ASICS would start making their shoes in extra wide for women. I've worn ASICS gel- cumulus for a log time but had to stop with model 16. I considered trying to cut the light blue plastic things but opted instead to return the shoes. These shoes would be perfect if only they had more room in toe box. The toe box is constrictive rather than just tight!

I always wear Asics but this style was cut too wide and very uncomfortable.

I've been wearing ASICS for 27 years because of the wide toe box and arch. My last pair, 2000T, were high on the heal and eventually, wore down and eventually gave me blisters. I thought it was the style I selected so I went back to these, the GEL Nimbus. I was so disappointed when I received them. Not only were they high on the heal, the toe box was narrow too and only moderate arch support. :(

Still very narrow as not as cushy as 17, bring back 17. Why mess with the winning formula. I bet that the Nimbus 19 was a bad hit with Asics bottom line and reputation. The Nimbus 20 won't be able to fix that unless they bring back the Nimbus 17 in the next iteration.

I have been wearing the nimbus style for years. I'm disappointed with the nimbus 19 and 20 version. Even in wide they are making my foot go numb. Love the new colors though. It's nice to have basic black and gray.

I was super excited when I heard that Asics had widened the toe box on the Nimbus 20. Unfortunately, it's still not wide enough and I don't have wide feet. Asics were my go to running shoe for years. However, I've had to switch brands due to the narrow toe box over the past few years.
