These shoes are so painful. I bought them because I have owned many ASICS before and loved them. Unfortunately after two wears they are not getting any more comfortable and are extremely painful to wear. Wish the return policy was better on these.

Unfortunately, I have to return these. I ordered a wide, but they are very narrow and hurt my feet just putting them on.

I've been a loyal Asics customer for 18 years. NO MORE. They stopped making the gel cumulus in narrow so tried this shoe. The nimbus is way over padded on sides of heel & even in narrow its impossible to tie the laces so the heels dont slide up & down. This version will be the last one even offered in narrow by Asics! Switch to new balance!! Lots more choices for narrow feet & excellent arch support inserts from them!

Not true to size. Shoes run small. My feet measure to a size 4 but I bought a 5 and my toes were so cramped and feet hurt while walking in them. Returning them and getting a 5.5, so hopefully going up a half size will fix the problem.

Every year I purchase a new pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus, they have changed these shoes they are not cushioned like prior pairs in fact they hurt my feet. These are rock hard and I am returning. Very disappointed as the other versions were always so comfortable and supportive you could wear them all day.

I was very disappointed with this shoe. I have worn ASICS for many years and can always buy size 9 2A, but this shoe ran very narrow and was very uncomfortable. When my toes went numb I knew it was time to return them. Don’t overlook this and other reviews. This is not your normal ASICS quality or size. ??

Ordered a 10 wide - fit like a 9.5 narrow. Not sure if they were tagged wrong but definitely not a wide shoe

I have been an ASIC loyal fan for years. Fortunately, I purchased two Gel-Nimbus 18 at the same time. They were by far the best model ASIC has ever made and my favorite shoes. Even though I have worn the bottom down to the nibs (since I can't find a replacement pair that fits) on the last pair, I still wear them at home. So, about 4 months ago I ordered a new Gel- Nimbus pair and I was so disappointed in size, width, cushion and overall contruction, that I thought it was a mistake. I have gone to several stores tried on many different brands, even different ASIC styles including Gel-Nimbus 20 and still cannot find one I love. I have finally purchased a New Balance pair that works but hope ASIC goes back to manufacturing the great shoe they once did.

My feet hurt after exercising in these shoes. I do not run, I walk. The soles of my feet hurt and the outside edge of my right foot felt as if something was pushing into it. These used to be my go-to exercise shoes. I do not know what Asics has done but they need to undo it. Worst experience ever.

I have been buying this shoe since the Nimbus-13. I have exclusively worn Asics since that time. This Asics Nimbus-20 is so bad I am switching off from Asics. I am so disappointed to have to shop around for a new brand when I have loved these for so long. The 20 model has absolutely no arch support, and the cushioning is non-existent when compared with previous versions. I have no idea how Asics managed to mess up a good shoe, but they have. If you like minimalist shoes, you will love this one.

I love the shoes! I have worn nimbus for 17 years. The cushion of this shoes was perfect. The laces are a great length (#14 had very short laces so I couldn’t cinch them to stay snug in my narrow heel). The toe box was roomy but not so much your foot is swimming in the shoe. The color combination is beautiful. Con: One shoe was damaged. The laces were undone and there was no stuffing inside the shoe. Almost as if I was sent a returned shoe. I never got to wear them but they fit great. So sad because the price is great!

I used to be a loyal ASICS gel nimbus wearer. But ASICS has changed this shoe and I keep buying Updated versions, hoping they’ll go back to their old design, but they haven’t. The shoe’s sizing is all messed up. I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes and an 8 in running shoes, this shoe was so tight, I likely could have worn a 8.5 or a 9. I wore them and within 10 minutes, the soles of my feet felt like they were going numb, like asleep. Returned them today. ??

I've worn the Gel-Nimbus for over 10 years and this year's footbed and length are smaller than before. Not comfortable at all.

They have changed! I have always ran in Asics and now I can't find one that doesn't make my feet go numb while walking or running.

I have worn (or at least tried to wear) Asics for at least 10 or more years. I have not been able find a pair that fit well or was comfortable since the 15's. Nonetheless, I keep hoping, buying and returning. The Nimbus 20's are even harder than the 19's and I didn't think that possible. The toebox is even more narrow than previous versions and the width even feels narrower. The Asics Nimbus was my "go to" but sadly it's time to step away. In summary, the Nimbus 20 is a hard, narrow and uncomfortable shoe. Be very wary if anyone tells you Asics listened and restyled the shoe because it's even harder and narrower than the last versions. Asics has let me down once again.
