So disappointed that I kept these and wasted $160! Had read other reviews stating that it ran a bit narrow, since I have a narrow foot, I thought they would be perfect. Normally on my Asics I have to lace them super tight to accomodate my narrow foot, but these actually need to be left quite loose. So I doubt that anyone with a medium width would find them acceptable. I can deal with the width issue, but as others complained, the toe box is really tight. I wear a 10 in all other shoes, but in Asics I had purchased 11 previously so that it felt more roomy. My 11's were always a bit too long, so I figured by ordering a 10.5 online, it would be just right (you can never find a 10.5 in stores). The insole in the 10.5 is the exact same length as my 11's, so I honestly don't think there was any difference in the 1/2 size at all. So now I'm stuck with less room in the toe area and my toes are going numb during my workouts. I put in my own insole for arch support and was hoping that might help, but not yet. I keep hoping I can break them in, but what a waste of a lot of money!

Very tight. I'm normally a 91/2 size in any shoe. Ordered these in a 91/2 D (wide) as I knew asics ran small. I normally wear a D in my shoes. They felt so tight on my foot like they were not my correct size. Why does Ascis make such small shoes. Im going to try to find them in a store and try on for size before I order them again.

Asics ruined the Gel Nimbus style for me after #17. For several years the Gel Nimbus was wonderful with my own orthotics in place of their insole. Starting with #18 they changed the shoe. It is so frustrating when companies change a style so drastically. I could wear the #15 through #17 just fine. I am now in the process of trying to find a good support shoe.

I have exhausted all of my options with asics. Asics used to be my go to shoe and would fit like a glove, but over the last two years they have narrowed the entire shoe despite my going with my usual wide shoe. Unfortunately, I have not found a comfortable fit that seems to offer high quality and durability. I am hoping Asics returns to their old design. If it is not broken, no need to redo it!

I had to send these back. I wear a 7.5-8. I bought an 8 & they fit more like a 7. There were way to tight in the toe area.
However, I bought a pair of the men's size 7 for my son & they fit me perfectly. I will be buy my next pair in a men's 7. Not a women's 8 or 9.
I bought my husband a pair of men's size 14. He is a big guy. He says he will never buy Nike airs again. He is an ASICS for life guy now.

I washed my new ASICS once & they shrunk after I air dried them.
I'm so upset. Unfortunately I cannot wear them.

I wore out my old Nimbus gel 16's and cannot find a replacement (I purchased three pair). I've worn Asics since the First Gels (still have them in storage). But a few years ago, Asics changed their fit ... made shoes too narrow; slightly shorter length; and no arch support ... this was supposed to have been remedied with these shoes. If I order a size up they will be too long. I have had enough. I've read similar reviews and complaints. The colors, aside from the fit, are abhorrent. I've been to five shoes stores. Nothing fits.

After 15yrs, sizing has changed completely
I've been wearing Asics size 8.5 for 15 yrs. I recently purchased the Gel nimbus 20 in 8.5. After wearing the shoes walking for a couple of days, I realized that my toes were hitting the front of the shoe. Thinking the mesh would stretch, I continued wearing to no avail. I then purchased a size 9. While my toes no longer hit the front of the shoe, they are clearly not the correct shoe size. It seems that Asics has changed the design of their shoes by adding more cushioning, which I found very comfortable, but that creates a shallow toe box causing the shoe to shorten, hence the toe hitting. While the 9 solved the shortening issue, it changes the proportion of where the foot falls on the arch and foot bed of the shoe causing other issues. Very disappointing after purchasing 2 pr.

Hi all! I have been wearing Gel Nimbus for over 15-20 years. My last pair are Gel Nimbus 16's. I have always loved the great arch support and nice large toe box of this style. I was thrilled to see an all black pair and happily ordered the Gel Nimbus 20's. What a disappointment. The arch support is simply gone. The toe box is cramped and you can feel the top of your toes touching the top of the sneaker. They are going back. I am usually a 9 in most shoes, but order a 9.5 in these. Oh Asics, what are you doing?!

Nimbus 20 has minimal support and cushioning, and it definitely is not worth the money. After 10 pairs, mostly Nimbus 18 which I love, I will now move to another brand.

WAY TOO NARROW!! I wore these for a few hours and had to take them off they were killing my feet. They are super narrow across the midfoot, when I had them laced up you could see sock between the tongue and side of the shoe. I felt like I was trying to shove my foot in a shoe 2 sizes too small for me. This was a size 10 and I’m usually a 9 in normal shoes. So disappointed in ASICS nimbus design. The previous generations were great. Don’t fix what’s not broken please, I miss the old nimbus design.

Asics Nimbus used to be one of my go-to runners. No more. These shoes no longer have the cushion? of the past and they provide little to no support; they're being returned.

I am so disappointed in these shoes, and hope that I can return them even though I have worn them a few times to try and break them in. They are very tight in the toe box and it become painful after running over one mile. Asics is usually the only brand that I can run long distances in. I have never been disappointed with Asics before - I tried on several pairs before deciding on the more expensive, because the other styles didn't provide the same support and feel that I usually get from the less expensive Asic styles.
I DO NOT recommend this shoe.

The sneaker self narrower than expected. I expected the sneaker to be wide it was on the narrower side. I also felt the overall fit of the sneaker was rather snug. I am generally a size 71/2 but I ordered a size 8 because I have a wide foot. I did not find the sneaker very comfortable.

I have been wearing nimbus for 15 years. I was so excited to get the nimbus 20s. So disappointed! They feel like they are broke down already. I have wore them twice!! They hurt my feet and my ankles.

After using the sneakers only twice, they started to tear and fray in the same place on both of my sneakers. I am very unhappy that my brand new sneakers look like I need a new pair already!

I was so looking forward to the Nimbus 20 in hopes that it would have the same cushion and width and COMFORT I remember from the Nimbus 18. The 19 gave me horrible blisters and now here we are with the 20 and my toes still go numb! I am so sad because I fell in love with my Nimbus 18 and when the 19 and now the 20 didn't perform like the 18, DEVESTATED - PLEASE bring back the 18 style!

Well, I had hoped that the toe box would revert back to the design of the nimbus 15,etc. but no luck. What a sad day when I thought these might improve on the 19s (which also were terrible).

Ordered up a size, very very narrow, and short, both feet were numb after having them on for 5 minutes, and not even walking!
