Cute shoe. Comfortable for all day walking. Good arch support. Light grey color goes with everything. I'll see how well it holds up to wear in time....and also if it machine washes well. But right now, I'd recommend buying these. I have a few pairs of Taos Footwear and then have never disappointed me. I don't expect this shoe to disappoint.

I wasn't sold on these when they arrived. They are more of a purple than burgundy, but it is a pretty color. At first I thought they didn't fit because they were laced very tight. After unlacing them and wearing them around the house, they now fit. At first the heels slipped but since they stretched they don't anymore. They are in the category of being so ugly that they are cute in a small size. I probably would not have bought them if I wore a bigger size. I also wish they had a little heal evelation in the heel. They are all the same level. The arch support is outstanding. They make my whole leg feel good. So I kept them.

I've worn the "Star" style for a while, and enjoy it. But really liked the look of the thicker sole on the "Plim Soul". I normally wear a 9 - 9.5, but wore a 10 in the "Star". So ordered a 9.5 and 10 for the "Plim Soul". Both were too large. Ordered a 9, and it was much better. The other difference in fit is that this style seems to have a wider heel, as my heels want to slip out. They are also heavier and stiffer (in the sole) than the "Star", but that could be due to the thickness of the sole.

These shoes are really cute but sadly didn't fit me right and I had to return them. At Zappos' suggestion, I ordered a full size larger than my normal size (I usually wear a 7.5, sometimes an 8). I bought these shoes in an 8.5. They were the right length and fit ok on the top half of my foot, which runs a bit wide. However, they felt way too short in the heel, which seemed like it would rub and be uncomfortable over time. Overall, I think as many other reviewers said, if your feet are wide in the ball or toe box, but narrow in the heel, these may not fit comfortably.

I have an old foot injury that can make it hard to find shoes that fit and are comfortable. These shoes looked like they would have more foot support than others in this style. I got an 11 and normally wear a 10.5 but they were still tight. In addition they were narrow so I didn’t have much of the laces left to tie. It was nice that they came with white laces, too. These shoes are really cute but just didn’t work for me.

Fit and size are correct for me. The innersole is comfortable and has arch support. Overall, a comfortable, attractive casual shoe.

I have extremely flat feet, bunions, and plantar fasciitis so shoe shopping has always been a challenge for me. These shoes are so close to perfect - great arch support with the built in orthotic that doesn’t tire my feet or flare the pf, and very cute style which is so hard to find when you have foot problems. My one issue is that the stitching falls right on top of my bunion which means the shoe hasn’t stretched there over time and it gets very painful to walk any distance in them. I was really hoping this would get better with wear but it hasn’t so I can only wear them occasionally. Otherwise great and well made!

I just received these shoes today. I like these shoes because the arch support is excellent for a pair of sneakers. The canvas upper is sort of stiff and a little uncomfortable. The width of the shoes "M", in my opinion runs somewhat narrow. Because this sneaker has good arch support I am overall satisfied with it. I chose the wrong color of grey so I do have to get an exchange for the correct color.

Had a very flat sole, little arch support. The gray color was rather washed out. Liked styling.

If you have a narrow heel and narrow foot keeping looking. These are nice looking sneakers for street wear. I tried them in 2 different sizes. Unfortunately, they are just not made for my feet.....if they came in narrow sizes.

I have been wearing these for about four months, several times per week. These shoes are very study and are of high quality materials and construction. My very high arches feel well-supported with the stock insoles. I live in a rainy climate (Pacific NW), and the soles give me quite good grip considering the tread isn't aggressive in the least. Because of how robust the canvas and rest of the shoe is, they do feel a little stiff and heavy. This improves with wear but it is noticeable for me when compared to the Converse knock-offs they replaced that had very light-weight canvas and cheaper materials in the sole. I had a little rubbing on the back of my ankle because the back of this shoe sits higher up than my previous pair -- the sturdier construction means there's not tons of give. If your feet need a very solid shoe, these could be perfect for you. I also expect them to last a very long time, as they show hardly any wear after a decent period of consistent use. I chose the chocolate wash based on another review that called it a very neutral option. I agree that it looks more grey with a minor brown tinge. While the charcoal wash would go better with my black pants, I don't feel that these look off with them either, so I am satisfied with that choice. I recently learned that what I really need is a highly cushioned shoes, and these are not that, so I will continue the search for my goldilocks sneakers.

2nd pair that I have ordered that have strange green stains on them. I'll try one more time.

The sole is much stiffer than the Star, which I also own (and love). I’m returning.

This is the 2nd pair of Taos sneakers I’ve tried after Dandy, which I’ve had for about 1.5 years. I also own a pair of Taos heels. Unfortunately, not sure the Plim Souls are keepers. As with the Dandy, the removable footbed seemed really supportive. But, in comparison, the Plim Soul doesn’t feel very cushioned/felt slightly hard. Additionally, since these are lace ups, just wearing these for a short period of time seems to irritate my toes and discomfort especially to my bunionette, even sizing up a half-size from what I usually wear.

Everything reviewers have already mentioned except the weight. Prefer not to carry an extra pound around on each foot. I guess I'll stick with the Taos Star. I did like the blue laces better than the white/cream laces on the Star.

Very cute. Wide enough in the toe box, which can be hard to find with this type of shoe. Unfortunately, they were too wide in the heel and caused it to rub. The Stars fit better, so these are going back.

These are very cute tennies and can be worn with many things which is what I'm looking for. I tried a size 9 (my typical) and they were small even with the thin footie. I want to try the 9.5 but I'm waiting for availability. I tried the size 10 and they felt better but were definitely to big in length and heal movement. Support is moderate which seems to be the best in these types/look. One issue I'm having is that these, and others, lace up pretty far making them feel tight (even when tied loosely) in the arch area. I do have high arches so this isn't unusual.

I really wanted to love these shoes because of the arch support. I have high arches and high instep, and it was difficult to slip my foot into these shoes without having to untie and retie the laces. I normally wear a 7, but in these I fit well in an 8.

Tad too short for my feet. The back part of the shoe rubbed the back of my foot as soon as I put them on. Not comfortable.
