Zappo's recommended I order a half size up. I'm glad I did. The fit is great! They are so comfortable and supportive. I have bunions and was able to wear these shoes all day the first day. They are also really cute.

Have worn these about 6 times since receiving them, and so far I liking them. I really like the material (got the gray canvas) and the support. I wouldn't say they have outstanding arch support, but definitely better than your average converse-type shoe. I normally wear a size 8 in regular shoes and always size up for running shoes to an 8.5, so based on reviews I got the 8.5 in these. IMO they are a tad big, but I do think the 8 would have been too small, so happy with my size choice.

(My usual size is a 6N). After reading all reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size bigger, a 6.5 size. The length felt like it was a 6. The width of the shoes felt narrow & the toe box felt narrow. At 1st, the shoes were uncomfortable because the insole’s arch felt like it was 1/2 size longer than I need, hitting my arch toward the front of my foot. If I could have replaced it with the Taos size 6 insole, it would have been perfect. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a Taos insole replacement. I did like that the insole had a great cushion in the heel portion. Overall, the more I wore them, the less I noticed the arch not where I needed it. For 4-6 hours of wear, it’s good. For all day wear, my feet get tired. The shoes look great & are light weight. If you wear socks, you’ll need to find some that are totally “no show”. The shoe strings are the longest ones I’ve ever seen on a size 6.5 shoe.

Super cute white canvas tennis shoe, fits true to size. I have wide feet and these feel ample in the toe box. I am used to wearing Sperry Pier View slip on sneakers, but my doctor told me I needed a shoe with more arch support. These provide that. My one issue is that I have to wear socks with them because the insole is a little abrasive on bare feet. With the addition of even a very thin sock - anything thicker would render them too small - my feet get pretty hot in them.

I have previously owned three pairs of Taos Footwear’s Star sneaker, and wanted to try this style. For reference, I have flat feet and narrow heels and can only wear about three brands of shoes comfortably. I love the way these look. They’re super cute. The quality of materials and construction is excellent. The insole provides great arch support and shock absorption and I can wear them all day. The only minor gripe I have is that these are wider in the heel than the Star, so for me they slip in the heel. But if you have normal width heels, this will probably not be a problem for you. Also, I normally wear an 8.5 and a 9 in this shoe fits perfectly. So you might want to go up 1/2 size. Otherwise, great shoe!

Loving these shoes and wearing them a lot! They have great arch support for a canvas sneaker. A little stiff out of the box but they loosen up quick. I ordered the beige and I'm currently buying the charcoal as well. They fit true to size and have a nice wide toe box. The only reason a didn't give 5 stars overall is because of the price. I feel a fair price range would be $60 - $75. But hey, I'm on my 2nd pair so...

I felt this size 8 fit true to any other size 8 shoes I own. Canvas is stiff so I am going to need to break these in before I actually wear them somewhere. Heel wants to slip but I believe that is due to the depth of the insert. Really cute shoe, and wish that they'd sent along a choice of laces...I sort of think I'd rather have the cream color ones instead of the blue just for the contrast.

Fit me well, and I have duck feet, wide at toes, narrow at heel. Didn't have slipping heel problem reported by others. However, when I wore them in the house for a bit, I realized the left shoe felt level, and the right was tipping me out to the side of my foot. Insole issue? Don't know what would do this, as I don't have this problem with my other shoes. I've decided to return these and try another pair.

I ordered the 8 and the 8.5 based on reviews. This shoe does not run big as far as I'm concerned. The 8 was perfect. I wear an 8.5 in Asics, Hoya, ABEO. The arch support insert feels really good and I have custom made orthodics so am familiar with how it should feel under foot. I find that my heel does want to slip a bit but I believe it is because of the thickness of the insert. It's a lot thicker than my custom ones. The color (blue) is great, not washed out looking, the fabric is a bit stiff. I feel the stiffness on the top of the foot so hoping this will soften up with wear since it is canvas. I'm glad I ordered this Plim style because I like the thicker sidewall. If you've a wide foot definitely order the wide because my foot is a standard width, not narrow at all anywhere, and it fills this regular width shoe just right. Narrow feet people beware, you might not be able to lace these tight enough. I did read on the card in the box that the color can transfer onto lighter colors so I'm expecting my white socks will be tinged with blue for a little bit. So far so good but I've only just received them and haven't walked outside in them.

These are darling sneakers! I so wanted them to work, too. Unfortunately, there is very little metatarsal padding or support. The width, arch support, and heel cushioning were all perfect, but I have very little fat padding under the ball of my feet, so they are a no go. It’s really a shame.

Runs small. Size 10 fits more like a 9.5. Sturdy arch support. They look cute.

So, these looked super cute out of the box. I wanted them to work out so badly. However, the top of the shoe put weird pressure on my foot even with socks on. The heel rubbed when I tried to walk in them. They felt a little big. Normally, I wear an 8 and ordered an 8. Just not happy so back they go.

I loved the look of these shoes but they just did not fit the way I wished they would. They were too wide in the heel area and slipped off.

These shoes are really cute and I wanted them to work so badly. The footbed is comfortable and the tie box is wide enough for my “pizza feet,” but the area where the material creases above the toes was stiff and irritating to my feet. I have bunions and Morton’s neuroma, so finding shoes that feel good is really challenging. If you don’t have all this foot drama, these would probably be great. The search continues...

I have a different style and really like them. I loved everything about these. Cute. Great support. Unfortunately, the heel was too big and kept sliding off, so I will be retuning this.

These are really cute shoes and I wanted to get them. However, they just weren't as comfortable as I had hoped. The cushioning just wasn't as cushy and comfy as I wanted for a shoe like this. But they style is great and I loved the gray color. Darn!

These are so cute! I usually wear a 71/2. I initially ordered an 8 to allow extra room but returned and exchanged for a 71/2. The 71/2 fit perfectly.

All my Taos are 8.5 but these didn’t fit at all. Too short and my toes were cramped. Too bad. I loved the pattern but the next size is sold out.

I received the Taos Plim Soul but had ordered the black tropical print and was sent the natural tropical print by mistake. I tried the shoe on and they seemed great. I have never tried this brand before. I would try the brand again because I like an arch in my shoes and this had a better than average arch. Just wish I received the correct color choice. Returned my order.

I’m wearing these around my house today to see if they’re keepers. A little discomfort in the left shoe, ankle area. The fabric is stitched in a way that angles it into the back of my ankle. So I’m giving it time....may be the feel of a new style I’m not used to. The picture I ordered from online showed the shoes with blue laces...the ones I got in mine were beige. I liked the look of the blue, but these are ok I suppose. Not worth sending back since the style is really exactly what I was looking for!

I sized up a half size based on reviews and the shoes fit well. Very comfy and great arch support. The thing is - they just were not all that cute on my feet. Too bad b/c they felt good. Going back. Thank you Zappos for an excellent return policy!

I exchanged the Superga Cotus for these shoes based upon the recommendation from Zappos; and she was on point! The padded insole is so comfortable which is what I need as a special ed teacher. I've wore these more times than I did the Superga and they are holding up so much better! I does feel a little big (I'm a size 8) but with thicker socks, I could hardly feel it. Also, the Superga was somewhat tight over my feet, but these feel so much better!

Cute, stylish, and comfy! I need at least a moderate arch support and often have to buy inserts; but not with these. I love them, especially with jeans.
