I have never worn a Brooks sneaker before and so these were my first pair. Overall i like them. They are comfortable, they have a good amount of padding and my feet feel supported. The only thing i found disappointing is that they required breaking in because they rubbed against my ankles during the first wear and broke skin. I've never had that with any of the asics i usually buy.

They seemed a little tight compared to my last couple of Brooks.

So disappointed that these don't work for me. Love the simplicity and the colors but something about them tweaks a nerve in one foot. I think they must be a hair too narrow. I usually wear Brooks Ghost; the Launch is less roomy in the toe box.

These shoes fit great, and true to size. I have a high arch and they provide plenty of support.

I love the launch 4’s so I ordered these when I needed to replace them. They feel different, unfortunately. They feel like they have less cushion in the upper of the shoe, and ultimately feel wider/less supportive for my feet. I can’t return them now because I was stubborn and wanted to try running in them, too, but I’m really unhappy that they changed the style. Why do running companies change their shoe lines? It’s so hard to find something that works consistently.

The shoe looks nice. The size is good. I would have to say it could use more arch support and padding. I had to add cushion inserts. They work fine and fit well in the shoe. I think they’ll work fine for treadmill walking.

These were too narrow for me, and felt like an 8 rather than an 8.5.

They’re just okay. I’ve owned a dozen pairs of Launches over the years but these dig into the backs of both ankles and have created raw spots. Despite being running shoes it feels a bit like breaking in leather flats. Never had a problem with it in other running shoes.

Nice and light weight. My last few pairs had been the Ravennas, these are softer and more comfortable.

I haven’t had a chance to run with this shoe yet, but it feels comfortable when walking. Just so you know...the black/ebony/primer grey shoe has navy in it. You can’t really tell from the picture and it’s not mentioned in the description. I was wanting a black/white/grey shoe. Can’t decide if I’m going to keep them.

I really like these now that I broke them in. I was unsure of them when I first tried them on and after my first run. However, after a few days of just wearing them around the house, they now hug my feet VERY well. I have high arches and they do a decent job of supporting them. I wish the arches were a tad higher but compared to other shoes that I tried, I thought these had the best support. They are very light weight and I love the way the look.

The heel cup is narrow (maybe needs some breaking in but it rubbed my inner heel and was causing a blister) and the arch support can be a bit overbearing. I would order a half size up too.

Like so many tennis shoes that I have ordered these ran small. These ran a size small. They look nice and felt comfortable though.

Have the Ravenna shoe and needed a new pair. Tried the launch and they felt smaller and tighter. The color was awesome and a great looking shoe just didn’t fit my needs for the running shoe I was looking for. Going to try the Ravenna style again and hope they don’t change that up!

These are comfortable for a simple every-day shoe. They are flat and a bit hard, and the material around the ankle really hugs your ankle/foot. Not what I was looking for, so I am going back to the Ghosts.

This was my first experience with Brooks. My coworkers rave about them, so I thought that I would give them a go. The ones I purchased were as cute as a button. I read others' reviews to see if the sizing were different from other athletic shoes and I made my decision. They felt a bit snug. I thought that maybe I needed to wear them a bit in order to break them in. They are still as cute as a button, but I do not enjoy wearing them for extended periods of time.I am not sure if it is the style or the brand as it was my first experience. I might try them again...different style and possibly the next size up to see if that makes the difference.

I went outside of my comfort zone of strictly order Brooks Glycerin because these were on sale. Both shoes dug into my heals and I wound up giving them away!

I wish I could keep these shoes. If it wasn't for my poor beat up feet, these shoes would be wonderful but there isn't enough room in the toe box. I love the material on the top of the shoe. So comfortable against my sore skin. If you don't have any problems with your feet, these shoes would be an A+.

They are not a natural shoe. Made me walk on the outside of my feet. If not for that I would of kept them.

I love these shoes, but unfortunately I cannot wear them to run over 3-4 miles because they start rubbing me at the base of my big toes (where bunions usually form). This happens on both feet. I wish they made these in a wide width so I could at least see if that solves the problem. Otherwise, these are responsive and on the lighter side but still have some cushioning. I wish they would've worked for me!

Great shoe but the trim around the ankle, where you insert your foot into the shoe, is defective. It started unraveling/tearing after 3-4 casual wears (not running.) This happened with my first pair of these shoes earlier this year but I have then the benefit of the doubt and assumed I damaged them. It’s not me, it’s a design flaw. Exact same problem with second pair.

The size was fine. I have trouble with the comfort. I read where this shoe was supposed to be great for walking. I wore this shoe to go shopping in. By lunch time the balls of my feet ached as well as my lower back. The shoe really doesn't have much cushion. Maybe it will be fine to wear on a short walk but definitely not for a long period of time.

I've worn the Brooks Launch for a few years now and have lived every new edition until this year. I do have a pair if Launch 5's that are a perfect size and width. However, the last 2 pair I bought (bec they were on sale) do not fit right. One pair was too narrow, the other the size was too small. Obviously I returned both, but not ready to give up on them yet. Hopefully the new version will be corrected.
