The back is stiff and it gave my daughter blisters on both feet. At first we thought if was because she wore low profile sock, but no. These shoes are hard in the ankle area and are very uncomfortable. She was so disappointed because she loves Brooks, but we will have to return this pair because they are not wearable.

Not sure what other reviewers were talking about.. these are nothing like my cloud 10's...not cushioning at all. They are light weight but not super comfortable and seem stiff. They are going back. I bought 2 different colors... the black with purple soles has more cushion then the grey but nothing substantial.

This is the 9th pair of Brooks Launch shoes I've bought, and I'm so disappointed in these!! I've always loved these shoes! I buy the exact same pair "Brooks Launch" every time because I know how well they work for me, but this pair has some sort of defect in the left shoe. The inside sole cuts into the side of my foot and almost makes it feel like I've got a bone spur or a hairline fracture after I've been exercising. I use these to run on the treadmill. I'm not sure how to handle this because I kept thinking they just needed to be "worn in" a bit, and they'd get better, so now I can't really return them since I've worn them. I'd like for the manufacturer to know how disappointed I am. My husband and I have both been loyal Brooks customers for over ten years.

I have been wearing Brooks running shoes for years but these shoes were totally disappointing. The fit is the usual Brooks fit but the shoes are completely uncomfortable, too little padding in the front. In fact, they affect my posture negatively as well. I should have returned them but unfortunately I have already worn them.
