The product is excellent. However, my feet have very high insteps which prevent the velcro closure from functioning.

Wat too wide. I wear New Balance extra wide all the time, but these were like clown shoes. Shoe tongue wanders to one side of the shoe. Very disappointed

I bought this 6E version expecting feeling comfort of foot.
But because Shoes tongue is too thick, hard, and long, and sewing area of tongue front end is too thick and rough, so the hard shoe tongue end pushes and presses my ankle, the sewing area of tongue front end scratches my toe root and instep of my foot, and the shoe presses foot spine and instep very much.
This is not good to work and walk.

I bought these to replace my old pair of 928s. These new ones are not the same shoe and much lower in quality. They fit poorly -- run small and have shoddy construction. The Tunge slides arountd to slide under my foot as soon as I take a few steps. The old 928 had a very roomy and high toe box that accommodated my hammertoe condition, these lack that space and are, for me unwearable.

I had a terrible lower back problem Jan of 2017 and could not bend to tie my shoes so I ordered these. New Balance has been my go to shoe company for years wearing a size 16 and having a narrow foot. I struggled with mobility from Jan until July of 2017 due to my chronic lower back pain and really only wore these to go to doctors appointments. Well I contacted New Balance about the poor quality of the closures as the Velcro stitching came apart and the straps started to stretch. The terrible customer service of New Balance really disappointed me. They did not own the defect in the product and insisted it was due to my not ordering the correct width shoe. They refused to replace or refund their defective shoes and only offered me a $40 discount towards a new pair of shoes. Well this is totally unacceptable and I probably will never recommend or ever buy another pair of these poorly manufactured shoes. The company has really become junk. I don't like to be negative or bad mouth but you know what NB....if the shoe fits WEAR IT!
