I have already bought this shoe again and again, I think that explains what I think of this shoe.

No fault of the shoe except it is a little narrow for my feet. I have neuropathy and my feet have swelling, so no fault of the shoe. I simply cannot wear them. Otherwise, the shoe is just fine.

My hands are a problem.. Hook and loop is now almost mandatory for me. There is a shoe I prefer in your line, however, these are a close second. I recommend these for anyone who needs hook and loop. And if the the series works for you, you may prefer it just for convenience.

I love the shoe overall, although I go to the alteration for all my new balance shoes to reinforce a double stitch at the front end of the shoes. Lack of stitching control at New Balance.

Great for walking and exercise. Would prefer white like the laced version.

I am a long time Zappos and NB customer and you did non disappoint with these. I am diabetic and these were just what I hoped for. The clunky size makes them a little dicey for driving my Jag XK. I haven't tried them yet in my airplane. NB quality has definitely gone down. Junk Velcro on straps, left foot somewhat off center, but they will do ok. I use the walkers as my "go to shoes".
I'd also recommend:
No others, I have tried others, but NB always fits with my wide feet.

These are very stable walking shoes. The design is good and the fit is generally good, although I order one size larger for my narrow foot wearing thick socks. The down side is that the adhesives used to make the shoe break down and some minor parts fall off. I think the cost is too high, especially when buying directly from the manufacturer, since they are making the dealer's margin too. There ought to be a program for long-term customers like me, although I do not like giving out all kinds of personal data .

This is every day use for me. My hands require velcro. Tung on one foot tends to slide off center due to a high arch. Easy to fix with a small velcro strip or a couple of stitches.

I live in these shoes except when i need a real dress shoe. I use them in the gym, walking in the park and so on. Every where.

I have a problematic hallux bone and need a bit wider shoes. I found New balance 2E width something that works great with me. The problem comes when it is almost impossible to get 2E width in Europe where I live. I go to US from time to time, approx once a year or two years. Since I bought many NB sneakers and shoes already, I know my size, 10,5 2E, so I can order them online and ask some friend to bring them. It worked well since my last buy, 928v3. It is simply bigger, I would say the whole number, then all my previous 10,5 2E. Since I am not living in US it is very hard to send them back ... that makes me worry for my future NB shoppings ..

I love them for my part time job which involves a long walk in the woods followed by removing my shoes before entering a historic building. Doing this 3 times a day is what makes the hook and loop so incredibly useful. I don't have to sit down to do it and I'm still getting plenty of support during the hike. I thought they were the most comfortable shoes around - until I bought a pair of 754 mid height leather shoes called "winter sneakers" by Esquire. I now own 2 pairs of these for everyday cold weather wear. They are like walking on clouds but with ski boot like support. WOW!

Size and fit were as expected. Only negative is that the velcro straps are too short, especially when feet swell and/or wearing warm socks.

I have a weak ankle. These shoes keep me from rolling the ankle out and spraining it.
I foster puppies. The Velcro closure is a lot easier to keep fastened than shoe laces when a dozen, sometimes more, pups are trying to trip you up.
I just wish they weren't so expensive and excluded from all sales. Insurance covers the high cost for some people, but I have to pay it all myself. Also wish it came in more colors

I was looking for a soft shoe for walking. These shoes are super comfortable, but a little bulkier than I had expected. Nonetheless, I like the shoes.

I'd give these a five-star rating except for the fact that the straps end up a tad too long for my foot. i.e., they could use one more trimmable tab on the end

Had this same model (928vX) shoe before maybe for 7 years. While this newer version is OK something was changed between the older version and the newer version This newer version is not as comfortable and the hook and loop also changed the strap. Preferred the older version.

My New Balance MW928 fit much more loosely than my previous 6 pair of NB shoes of similar size [12 EX-wide]. I wear thicker socks and fasten then extra tight to make them work for me. Other than that, they are a very good pair of shoes. They look good and feel well constructed.

Shoe fits well and the ability to adjust the length of the tabs is perfect. Still breaking them in, but everything is very good so far.

While the shoes are pretty good in general, the crude implementation of the hook & loop mechanism detracts from the overall performance. I am sure that the design helps reduce the cost of the shoe but considering the high cost of the shoe a more elegant solution is called for.

I buy these shoes in particular because of arthritis in my right foot and the shoes have a roll bar which helps my right foot.
This particular pair don't seem to be made of the quality that is usually sold. The top Hook is too short to cover the velcro and the bottom Hook is too long which is okay because it can be cut off.
The problem and always a hassle is returning the shoes. So I have to cross that bridge if they continue to cause pain in my right foot.

I had to buy 2 pairs to accommodate the larger size of one foot. No discount was offered.
