My physical therapist recommended these shoes, that is why I bought these shoes. I have been having foot problems for years. I have very flat feet and when I walk in these shoes it seems that my feet slap the floor while walking. The heal is flat and on an angle, causing my foot to rock and slap the ball of my foot on the floor. I also have been experiencing foot pain while wearing them. I need to try some custom orthotics in them. I'm not too happy with them right now. the shoes are 928v3

I have been purchasing this same some in the tie version for years and you can count on it being the same. I decided to try the velcro strap version. Not near as comfortable, but it does beat having to double knot shoe strings. I will not be purchasing these again.

My husband had a stroke and is only able to use his left arm, the velco is most definitely helpful for him but because he wears a foot-brace on his right foot, we would have to order a size larger than what he normally wear. I wish there was a way for people with disability to allow to pick and choose the size shoe for either foot. So the size 12 is definitely a lot bigger and heavier and doesn't have as much give when he's walking, so he walks around "heavy" footed.

I debated returning these during the indoors "test wear" phase and I didn't. I thought they would just get better once I went outdoors and started walking in real places with them. So by the time I was sure I didn't like them, I had already taken them out on the road and thus made them invalid for return. Okay, they're not BAD, no. They're decent, but I find that the support in the soul/arch area a little uncomfortably aggressive (I have high arches anyway) and the shoes are the correct size, but still feel too tight in odd places. For comparison, the 990v4 I have fit perfectly and comfortably on Day 1 and I really should have just purchased the 990v5, but I was trying to save money. Again, they're NOT BAD, just not for me. I'd rather have a do-over on them.

I purchased these sneakers to be used only as slippers. Spent the money to get leather for breath ability and Velcro for convenience. The leather uppers are in fantastic condition unfortunately on one sneaker the outer sole has released from the upper on 1/3 of the sole. It is a shame at this price point a catastrophic failure like this happens. Time to go back to slippers, at half the price even if I get one year out of them I will be way ahead of the game. Being retired and on a fixed income it matters.

I bought these shoes for walking, the hook and loop because i have a bad back. I have been wearing new balance for over twenty years and these are the first pair that have hurt my feet. I will be returning.

they need to be wide at the top as well as the sides. thats where they are not fitting at the top and for the cost they should be able to fit thw whole foot.

Hook& Loop not long enough. End stick up, looks terrible.

I normally buy the white lace version of this shoe. They haven't been available for the last 2+ years. May look for another shoe company

The thick, stiff tongue cut into my ankles. Totally different than the 813. I will return the 928.

The shoes were too small and feet would not fit into them.

The shoes were very uncomfortable to me . The size did not seem to be right

Wish you were still making the 873. It fit much better and overall walking comfort was excellent. The 928 is a disappointment.

I purchased this shoe style a couple of years ago. I order a replacement pair in 2021 and noticed that they are considerably narrower than the previous pair that I own. I used the tape measure to measure both and compare. Hopefully, they will make their upcoming version wider, because my previous pair was awesome.

Bought for my 85 YO mom. Too heavy. Tried to call NB numerous time to get assistance on finding lighter shoe. I was on hold two times, 20 mins and 5 mins. Then it went to survey and hung up on me. Terrible customer service. What happened to you, NB? I can't even give you business if I want to. Please pull yourself together. You got an overall great concept, you will make it through this difficult time with some effort and grit. Don't give up.

Nothing to try on for size fit in store so ordered anyway. Of course they don't fit so return wait and purchase again in different size hope they fit? Expensive shoes for not being able to wear! How about product in your stores. Truly hit or miss in size. Thanks NB

I purchased an exact pair of these last year, except this time, my husband wanted to try the next width up. The shoes are actually wider, but also longer, so they don't stay on his feet. Will be returning.

it is the worst made by New balance. Yet since it is the only shoe comes in 6E it is extremely valuable.

Bought this shoe because it was touted as a great shoe for feet issues; comfortable, soft soled and perfect for walking. I bought it to ease symptoms of plantar facetious. They did not work. Borders on the worst shoe I've ever tried as far as the comfort I was seeking.
