I really wanted to love this shoe; it's a beautiful shoe style wise and I appreciate the wide width, which allows me to use my orthotics. That being said, there's not a lot of cushioning (quite rigid) and the top of the shoe (cage area) is constantly rubbing against my foot meaning I can't wear this if I plan on walking a lot.

Loved the shoes and still do, but the elastic holding the buckle for the velcro strap broke very early on and although I have stitched it in place, it will not hold. The elastic should be replaced with something more durable.

I've been a fan of NB for a long time but with this pair I'm a bit disappointed I was so happy to see the velcro hoop are back that's why I ordered them but unfortunately the cover underneath the velcro is too small so I have to return them.

This is the third pair I've purchased. I now wear orthotics and need a larger size. This pair, however, would have been too short without the inserts, so I returned them. As soon as my credit hits, I will order another pair.

I wear them everyday all day. They are comfortable. But doesn't seem to be constructed the same as in the past. The tongue in the shoe twists into the side of the shoe and has to be straightened repeatedly through out the day. I have been wearing New Balance shoes for about 20 years and haven't experienced this problem before..

I walk about 5 minutes a day. I have exclusively worn NB for many years and always have been very pleased.

It appears you are doing away with the 577. You no longer have it in many sizes (including mine). The only other choice with the hook and loop was this one. It's OK and I'll make do with it, but the long line of similar designs/numbering that started with the hook and loop design for breast cancer (decades ago) fit beautifully. Hope you bring it back again at some point.

Do not like the tongue in these shoes, does not lay flat. To heavy of a shoe

I am not happy with the velcro-closure version of this shoe. With only two velcro straps, I have not been able to fit the shoe to my foot like I could with the laced and tie version. It is also loose around the heel. I do not understand why New Balance doesn't still have the laced & tie version of this shoe. However, if the company felt the need to discontinue it, why didn't you suggest a similar shoe? I recall in years past that when you upgraded earlier versions of this shoe, you let the customers know. The company also used to provide better information on shoe form, walking strike area, pronation, etc. Now I'm left guessing which shoe might be a better substitute for the old lace and tie version of 928v3 that I love - and a style that I have worn for many years regardless of the sequence of numbers it's had over the course of its upgrades. I will now have to go find a shoe store and try on shoes - a process I abhor.

The shoes felt very heavy and clunky when I put them on. The fit was ok but they could use a lighter design. I wish there were more of a selection of styles with velcro closures. I also don't like that the only color available was white. I returned the shoes and had a hassle free experience, so that is good.

the shoe can contain custom insoles. The hook and loop sections, aka velcro, are scant. Luckily, I have access to industrial velcro. Customer service is very nice.

They were pretty sneakers but not confortable and had to return

The shoe hit my ankle in an awkward spot which made them uncomfortable to wear.

the loop is too short; not able to loop at the right spot, even it is reaching the spot, easy to break out.

I've always worn NB sneakers with laces and wanted a pair with Velcro. I'm disappointed in this pair because they are bulky (not heavy) and don't have a cooling mesh upper. They are all leather which is very warm in the summer in FL. They also press against the shin tendon which is painful so they don't fit properly. I would not purchase these again and would not recommend them.

I ordered a size 6 shoe for my daughter. When the shoes arrived they were just to big for the size 6. I wear a size 7 and could get my feet in the shoes and had extra room in the front and back. I sent them back. I have never had a problem with any of my shoes before except for this pair. I will continue to purchase NB from this site.

I have loved these shoes and wear them everyday. I have very sensitive feet especially the ball of my foot. I wear a size 13. The pair I ordered and received are not true to size. They are at least a 1/4" shorter. I can't order the next size up. I will not be able to wear them and am searching for another model that will work. So far nothing looks soft enough for my tender feet. I am very disappointed.

Very hard, everyone said they could hear me walking, made my hip and lower back extremely painful, by the end of my shift I could barely get in and out of my car.
