Very pleased with these. Was looking for good walking shoes with all my various aches and pains, never thought of getting running shoes until I tried these in a retail store. They didn’t have the size and color I wanted, but there they were at Zappos. Thus far they are very comfy right out of the box and give me great support for walking. I have wide feet so glad to find wide size in these. Ordered half size up since that’s what worked in the store. Thanks!

Absolutely love these shoes! They were comfortable right out of the box. They have excellent support, and are a joy to run in! I will be buying them again, as needed.

I love the shoe ; I should have bought a half size larger as it is too short with the foot-bed inside. I plan to order another pair a half size larger. When I took the inside support out it fit fine so I will use the current pair to wear inside the house.

I have very wide feet and a bunion on one foot, so finding shoes that fit comfortably is a challenge for me. The New Balance 840 v4 is wonderful!!! I have always worn a size 7 in New Balance shoes, but lately most of the NB shoes seem to run small in length, so I ordered a size 7 1/2 WW and it is absolutely perfect for my feet! The toe box is rounded, not pointed like most shoes, and allows plenty of room for my toes to spread out. The style and color are really cute too!

These shoes are terrific. After many horrible pairs of 847’s, this 847v4 is a far better shoe and restores my faith in Ne Balance. I can wear it all day with complete comfort.

I have a wide foot, high arches and hammertoe. The box on the footbed is wide enough to accommodate orthotics and provides great support during HIIT.

I have always been a fan of New Balance sneakers because they fit well, are comfortable, and last a while. These We’re perfect right out of the box. I tried Hokas and Saucony but chose these for my upcoming 17 mile fundraiser walk.

After my last model retired I found this one and love it. The color and the style makes me feel like I am not just wearing work shoes but wearing awesome shoes. I walk for 10 hours a day at my job always on my feet. If I had one complaint is that I broke them but that was not the manufacturer issue that was me just kicking something too hard.

I have been a New Balance running shoes fan for quite some time. This particular shoe is very comfortable and has excellent arch support. (For now, while new, I am not even having to wear my ortho supports in my new pair of shoes.) I like the fit: plenty of room in the toe box, comfortable fit all the way up and down my foot, SLIGHTLY more narrow in the heel. I wear a womens 8 1/2 wide and my heel is a bit more narrow, but between the generous toe box and the heel as constructed, these are very comfortable "form fitting" shoes! I like these shoe strings too...there is a little bit of stretch to them, which seems to allow the laces to remain tied much better! I REALLY LIKE the color (Cyclone/Poisonberry) that I chose. The color is a tiny bit "girly", but still very athletic. I buy and prefer running shoes for my gym workouts and these shoes have fit the bill perfectly!

Normally I order a 1/2 size up but based on the reviews I stuck with my normal size 6. The fit is perfect and I also ordered the wide width to give a little more room. Love these super comfy shoes!

I usually wear a size 8 N, for example, in sandals or a soft shoe. But for this closed athletic shoe I found a half size larger (8 1/2 N) is much more comfortable. Especially since my left foot is a bit longer than the right.

Perfect, I hate that NB has quit making the 840's

Great fit for my 11.5N feet. Snug around the heels, toe box width is good with enough room to wiggle the toes. Perfect!

Bought for my teenage daughter. First time with this brand and she loves them.

I have a narrow foot so it is hard to find any shoe that fits. These come in narrow and they fit really well. Wore them right away with no problems at all. Attractive, too.

The shoes are well made and fit comfortably with the exception of the narrow toe box.

The only thing I don’t like is the tongue moves, and I’m constantly adjusting them.

I don't think they have a lot of arch support. The width is perfect. Light weight, breathable. Great cushion in the heel. but because of the arch I don't think I'll wear them for long periods of time.

This is the first time that I have worn a New Balance brand shoe. It is one of the few brands of women's running shoe that I could find that comes in a narrow 2A size. The shoe could have a slightly better arch support than it has, but having said that, it is the most supportive and comfortable shoe that I have found. Thanks to Zappos for their amazing return policy - trying the shoes for 30 days and actually being able to run outdoors in those shoes is such a highly valued customer service policy! I will always buy all of my shoes at Zappos!!!

I love these sneakers! Was looking to replace a pair I bought a few years ago and have almost worn out :) The tag in my old pair is too faded for me to read, but I must have ordered a Wide before, and Zappos is out of stock for those at present, so am returning these to wait to get the Wide.
