Too bulky and wide for my long medium feet

Having owned many NB shoes, I have been totally surprised and disappointed that the bottoms of my feet are getting bruised from walking in these shoes. I have added another insole which helps, but I should not have this kind of a problem with this higher quality shoe.

Except for the lace, I would have given these shoes 5 stars. The single elastic lace threaded through the shoe turns it into a moccasin, with no way to adjust it. Elastic does not sufficiently support the foot on uneven ground. After I purchased conventional laces and replaced the elastic, I was able to adjust the shoe to firmly fit my foot and provide needed support.

These have good support but D Wide is not very wide and EE Wide is not very wide either. I had bought a pair of these last year and loved them. Bought a new pair this year and do not fit like the previous purchased last year. same model same brand , different shoe laces and much less wide. Won’t buy another pair.

These do not fit the same as other wide new balance sneakers. Notably, the tongue is narrow, so although the shoe fit, there was a gap between the side of the shoe and the tongue which shows your socks. Not great. The elastic laces are ok but feel less supportive; there were normal laces included but since the rest of the fit was off I didn't try these. Too bad because I was hoping for a more stylish new balance option.

There's something wrong with this pair. I've worn 840's for a couple of years. Have had a couple pair of v4. Fir fine. This one doesn't. Not sure if it's just this pair or some subtle tweak to the model. Sent these back. Hurt my knees, feet and back - and that's just around he house. Put on an old pair for my run.

I really wanted to like this shoe but the fit was just off. I tried in my suggested size and my big toe kept feeling a bump on the sole of the shoe near the toe box. Wore the shoes around the house and thought that I might have the sizing off so I returned them for the next size up. Same thing happened with the larger size so I returned these also. There was just something off for me in the footbed near the toes.

My foot is not exceptionally wide, but I do need a D fit. However these are NOT a D, I had significant overhang from the side of my foot over the sole. Only order if you're a little wider than a C fit, not a true D. This will not be wide enough for you if you are a D fit.

This shoe was okay to begin with but even with the laces through the tongue loop, the tongue slipped to the side almost instantly and wouldn’t stay in the front/middle. I’ve never had that problem with a sneaker so I don’t know why this was happening.

Too hard no cushion

The shoe was small and it had a very boxy appearance. Style is not attractive. However it is a narrow and I probably would have kept it if it had fit. This shoe is not as attractive as the 1260 style I have been buying for years.

Fit a little snug for 8W (my usual size). The arch and the cushioning did not hit in the right place. She not as nice as pictured.

I've been race walking wearing this shoe for two weeks, hoping that the soles would soften up. No such luck - going to search for a replacement pair and will donate these.

The toe box is very large for my foot. My foot would move side to side easily. Just not a good fit for me.

Ordered correct size but shoes were too small! Toes were crunched in them. I ordered a different style of New Balance and they were great!

Felt a little long, great roomy toe box, orthotics wouldn’t sit flat so I had to return them. Great colors!

I'm very disappointed with these shoes. I've had them about 2 months and the tread separated on one shoe and is starting to separate on the other. I can no longer where them. It's unfortunate because they are comfortable and fit my narrow heels well.

I ordered my usual size, which I have ordered before from New Balance. These sneakers ripped by heals apart and gave me NO support in arch and my toes. I would recommend NEVER buying these sneakers.

I have ordered multiple pairs of these shoes - they fit every time, except this pair, in the black color, which is much smaller and narrower than the others. Can't use them.
