I bought this pair of shoes for my spouse. It is so difficult to find 4E shoes. But New Balance has such good options. The 4E fit very well with no squeezing of toes.

These shoes fit great. You don't realize your old ones are worn out until you get the new ones.

Exercise, walking. As a senior by age the NB 840v4 has never failed me. This is my third pair and they have been my favorites. Thank you New Balance.

I am person who runs for fitness and I run about 20 miles a week. I have exclusively worn the 840 over that past few years and highly recommend it. The shoe fits snugly, but comfortably. The sole is sturdy and the tread gives good grip, even when the pavement is wet. The only downside of the shoe is that during use the tongues tend to slip towards the outside of the shoe, underneath the laces. I have found that if I tie the shoe a bit tighter from about midway up the shoe to the top this doesn't happen. Luckily, the laces are of the type that have some stretch to them, so that even if you tie the shoe tightly, it doesn't compress the foot too much. Overall, this is a winning shoe and I highly recommend it.

Excellent well made shoe which I use for everyday walking. Lots of room in the toe box while providing good grip in the heal. Wish it came in my colors.

I was in the 1080 since version one. The last two versions were a big disappointment. I moved to the 840 and I back to enjoying my runs.

Prior to this pandemic I would find help and joy walking outside. Then everything changed and health clubs closed. So instead of a few days of week walking outside I found myself walking everyday. I purchased a pair of NB fresh foam wore them out and decided to purchase the 840v4. I have only worn them for a week, but they feel really good on my feet.

I use the sneakers for walking and exercising. Fit well.

The fit is perfect. I enjoy the foot support. Feels springy as I walk around. The colors are terrific. My wife commented upon liked the color mix.

Great shoe, probably one of my favorites to sell as a NB sales associate, but how does this style not come in a size 15???

These shoes are AMAZING!!! I have been a "New Balance only guy" for about 20 years... I used to ALWAYS wear the classics because I couldn't understand the difference in price... I now COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND! Thanks New Balance!
