Got these as a replacement to my previous pair of 840v4 that had lots of miles on them. What a difference a new shoe makes! These feel great!

Shoes fit great! Not using them for running but walking on concrete at work after a knee injury. They have been very comfortable.

While I may rage at the dying of the light, I will do so with comfortable shoes on my feet. Fifteen years ago it was the need for a wider toe box, so I gave up my beloved Nikes and switched to New Balance. One year ago gravity had reshaped my feet from D width to E/EE. I purchased two pairs of NB Fresh Foam Tempos. They were fine, for a while, then they were not, and I knew I had to move up the price/quality ladder. So I bought these 840v4s and they are EXCELLENT! And my spouse thinks their appearance is actually quite stylish, so yea for the unintended consequence. There's a line from Jerry Jeff Walker's "Charlie Dunn" . . . . "It makes Charlie real pleased to see me walking with ease." Thanks, New Balance, for the ease.

I think I’ve found my shoes. Comfortable, breathes, not the worst style I’ve seen. I’ve been on a quest to buy decent athletic shoes for the first time in 25+ years and have found a lot of shoes to be too narrow or not offer enough support. I’m learning I have large wide feet with high arches, which is a little difficult. These are the best shoes I’ve found so far.

I purchased these New Balance shoes for my husband. He normally wears a 11.5 but due to reading some reviews I ordered the size 12 in a wide. They fit him perfectly. He walks every day wearing them. He loves them! Great purchase!

I always need to get a wide shoe and won't look at anything that doesn't come in a 10 Wide. These fit perfectly, both length and width. I like the style and they are extremely comfortable. They came with and elastic lace for lack of a better word and they are so convenient. The shoes are a slip fit putting them on, no tying required, and these laces make them a perfect fit. For those that want them, they also have a pair of regular laces included. New Balance has always come through for me in both fit and comfort, I won't look at other brands. Last but not least, Zappo's service can't be beat.

Third pair of this model I’ve owned. Excellent fit and durability. I appreciate the roomie toe box as I am a solid quad E. No issue with the other two pair I have and I anticipate none with this pair.

This is the second pair of this model that I have ordered. They fit me well and are comfortable with a wide toe box. I can wear a size 9.5 W or 10 M depending on the shoe. With this shoe I wear a 9.5W.

I am actually an older lady (79) with a very wide foot, a surgically removed bunion and hammer toes repaired several years ago. I found the a man’s NB fits and feels better than others with my issues. I try to walk my doggie daily and these feel better and also support my back. So far so good, but I plan to keep wearing them during the break in period for final results.
