Love my new sneakers!!! So comfortable for walking daily with my dog! Thank you for providing the very different to find extra wide width. They were delivered in a very timely fashion as well, which I greatly appreciated!!

So far has just been walking but looking forward to taking them on a run.

I suffer from dystonia a symptom of Parkinson's Disease . My case causes the muscles in both feet to cramp and pull the toes in an under Resulting in hammer toes on both feet. I require a deep ( high) toe box. This is the only shoe that has a removable insole to accommodate my orthotics and a deep enough toe box to make walking or standing comfortable. Most shoes fro UA ,, A , B,. & N have form fitting narrow toe boxes. The 840v4 works!

They're very comfortable, look good & are great to use on the treadmill!

New Balance 840v4 are very comfortable for extended wear. Also very roomy for the ball of the foot and toes.

Mostly walking the dog with it during this home lockdown. But this is a great and comfortable shoe. Made me realize that I was way overdue for replacing the old ones.

This is the best running/walking shoe I have ever owned! Pro's: they were available in size 12.5 and 4E width, lightweight, airy/cool, beautifully designed, well made, insole is as good or better than my expensive orthotics, almost no break-in time required, grips the road/trail very well. Con's: light colored strip that runs around the lower part of shoes gets dirty very fast, shoes are pricey, insole wore down and flattened in just a few months requiring me to replace it. I would highly recommend the 840v4.

This is the second pair of this model I have purchased. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and I probably have had at least 25 or 30 pairs of new balance before. They were all good, these are incredible.

I have had this shoe before and has allowed me to walk without pain so after 1 plus years I have replaced it with the same model

Great product, very comfortable. I have a bad heel, yet I can walk over 5 miles daily with virtually no pain when wearing these shoes!

I use the shoe primarily for power walking and found the shoe to be very comfortable while providing good support.

I have been a loyal New Balance customer for 36 years. They have a great selection of athletic shoes in a variety of colors and sizes. I have a wide foot and they specialize in wide widths. The 840v4 is a great shoe for running or walking. Once again New Balance comes through.

Been wearing 840's for years for walking. Wear 2E and each new pair fits like the previous pair.

I have high insteps, which no shoe fitting guide ever takes into account. I don't measure as having wide feet, but I have to buy 4E to allow for the uplift caused by my high instep pulling up the sides of the shoe. These shoes have a beautiful classic rounded toe box, and at 4E my pinky toe is not squished against the side. In the past, I would have to remove the insert/footbed from my New Balance and put Dr. Scholl's pads in. These don't need that, a nice, soft footbed makes walking very comfortable. Great shoe, my new go-to.

I have gotten many pairs of the 800 series over the years and I'm always happy with them. Normally wear a 13 wide but this latest pair ran long in the toe area. Switched to a 12 1/2 wide and they were perfect.
