ARGH — so close but yet so far! The color (putty) and overall style is exactly what I wanted, but the execution was lacking for me. The combination of the color and the super soft leather (nice) unfortunately made my feet look like little sausages when I tried them with socks (even thinner socks), and I’m not willing to wear them with bare feet this winter. (Note, I’m a petite person with size 6 feet, and I have other Sam Edelman booties that don’t present this problem, so I did not expect that). I also thought there would be more natural variation in the leather itself — the color is really one-note, which makes the sausage thing even more pronounced. If the leather were stiffer, it probably wouldn’t be an issue. Maybe the black ones would be better because it wouldn’t be as obvious? Anyway, they really are cute, and they’d look adorable with white jeans (one of the reasons I got them), if only... :-(

Narrow toe box, flimsy uppers, the inside lining feels like paper. Disappointing quality, had to return.

The fit is great and the booties are comfortable. However, the leather just past the arch area becomes very thin and papery. It looks and feels like heavy cloth, the way I would expect for a cheaper, discount bin item. Although I like this brand, I do not like this bootie.

I normally buy Sam Edelmans because I love the look and fit. This pair however was not the case as far as fit. They were very tight and no cushioning on bottom. I tried them on and kept them on for 5 minutes and my feet were aching. Im disappointed to say the least.

Sad the small numbers don't come in Wide, only size 6 and above :( why ?? they run narrow and at least half a size larger for me, i'm usually a 6 in boots but i am swimming in these even with a thick sock, and if I size down they don't have the wide available. bummer.

Loved the shape of this ankle boot and the leather is so soft. I also like the wide width but there is absolutely no cushioning. Sent back but wondering if I could put an insole in

I sent them back. I’ve had several Edelman shoes and they all fit perfectly. I adored the style but they were both too narrow and too long. Something went wrong in sizing this boot.

I wish I had not followed advice of other reviewers who stated that this boot ran narrow. I have a foot of regular/medium width, but upon advice of previous reviews, I ordered a wide & I was positively swimming in the boot. So I’d say order this boot to your normal width. I was also surprised that instead of looking like a nice leather, the over all look was of a sort of fake suede. Disappointed & they are going back.

This is a very uncomfortable bootie. The center part is very narrow so the narrowest part of your foot has to fit there and the rest of your foot will be squeezed with the toes going in one place and the heel being loose and floppy. I would not recommend these. The material is nice but that is all I can say.

Love the look and feel (except the zippers swinging on both sides feels a little funny but I got used to it). Problem was after only a few wears the heel got scuffed and I found out that it's only faux wood-stacked heel. Under a thin layer of what seems like leather over the heel is metal. It didn't look good and I wear my boots too often to be delicate enough to prevent the heel totally fraying. Zappos was great about handling my problem though...but I won't buy these again.

I didn’t even try them on. I did not like the quality of the leather. Looks and feels very cheap. It is more like a suede.

Even with a soft front/top, they were so tight I couldn't put them on. Cute though and a pretty grey color.

I don’t know why they make boots without any grip on the sole. The sole feels really slippery and very hard and heavy. Around the house for about 10 minutes but they were hurting my feet so I’m sending them back.

I tried to keep these shoes. I tried 3 different sizes and added inserts, but they weren't comfortable. I am a teacher, so I am on my feet all day at work. I am normally a size 8 and sometimes an 8.5. I ordered a 7.5 W, 8W and 8.5W. For a wide shoe, they were tight across the width of my foot. I never wear a wide shoe. The heel was a little too big and slipped. There is no padding in the footbed. I added an insert, which made the shoe too tight across the width. I really wanted to keep them because I like the color and need a pair of gray booties. I bought the Tom's Deia instead.

Not a fan of these... They run narrow and long. Even in the correct size, I wouldn't like them. Not flattering and definitely not as comfortable as some of the other brands I ordered.

I am returning these shoes, they are cute boots, but run narrow.

I am really disappointed by how the "leather" thins from just over the arch and upwards to the ankle. It is so thin I checked to see if it is made of fabric. This is a shame because the boots are edgy with the contrasting shine of the silver zipper but flirty with the longish tassel. So, wonderful design, but poor quality even for a $130 boot.

Very pointy booties. While these were cute, they are terribly uncomfortable on my feet. These feel like there is zero cushioning on the bottom. I couldn't stand in them for a few minutes let alone walk around in them all day. They were very slippery on carpet, too.

Very disappointed. These were a gift. There is a black spot on the front top of the boot on the leather and glue spots everywhere. If you had the other color in stock I would reorder and return these.

These fit ok but they were too flimsy for me. I live in boots like these and needed another pair--but these didn't cut it. I returned them.
