I ordered 7.5W but it was too long and my heel was slipping up. I didn't think sizing down to 7 would help because it would probably feel too narrow. I liked the look of them and the suede feel though, and the quality seemed decent.

I really liked the look of these booties and they didn't gap around the ankle. The grey is very pretty and can go with a lot. Unfortunately, the fit was disappointing. I normally wear a 9M in Sam Edelman, but the medium was too narrow. I ordered 9W and while the fit was ok, they were very uncomfortable. The sole was very hard, especially in the heel area. There is absolutely no cushioning so it feels like you are walking on concrete. I tried with a variety of insoles that I usually find comfortable, but those made the boot too tight once again. Unfortunately I will have to return.

It was not a wide fit but it was a beautiful shoe which I really wanted.

Nice short boot with two side zippers but very small. Medium width is also narrow.

The wide was not wide. Cute, well made shoe, but tight even though I ordered a half size up.

I was thrilled that these came in WIDE, unfortunately not wide enough. These boots are great looking, but I will have to keep looking.

Darn. The color on this boot is fantastic; a blue-grey suede. So sad that it pinched and cramped at the ball of my foot. I wear a size 5.5, but manufacturers think people with smaller feet don't have wide feet.

Darling booties! I loved the color and the soft suede but the right side of the shoe dug into my ankle (and I don't have thick ankles)! It was a design flaw with the inside of the zipper not finished off and quite thick.

These booties are very narrow and pointy and not as comfortable as many other booties I own.

My foot was inclined to slide forward in the shoe due to the heel height I believe. A Dr. Scholl's "Ball of the Foot" cushion pad solved the problem. I love the style of this cut-off boot!

This was a looked like it would be a comfortable boot, other than it was to short; however it is made of a supple suede, easy to zip and a pretty gray.

Super soft suede. That might be reason, it was shapeless across the arch & ankle area. Fit well, not tight.

Super cute boots but tight across toe base. Felt narrow and tight on top as well. Bummed can't get in a wide width.

Beautiful boot. I am a true size 7 and the toe box was too tight on the right. I wore them in my home for 1 week and the suede does not stretch. Interestingly, the heel end was quite loose. Going to try a 7.5 and see how they fit. These are indoor boots. They are not meant for sloshing through rain or snow. Hope the new ones fit, because they sure are cute w the low heel!

Very cute bootie and worth the cost but extremely narrow. I would go about half size up and only get medium width if you have narrow feet, otherwise, I would go with wide. Also, the heel for size 10.5 was almost 2inches, not 1.5 as listed.

These shoes were super comfy right out of the box, but the red color was just not red enough -- more of a reddish brown. I didn't like that it had zippers on both sides of the shoe either. I think the worst part is how slippery the soles are. I could envision myself slipping really easily. I'm bummed because the leather was nice and the shoes were so comfy, but that made them a no-go.

LOVE Sam Edelman shoes and I am lucky to have a closet full! PROS: These fit true to size at 7-1/2 M. I ordered the deep waxy saddle nubuck. Color is gorgeous, leather truly like butter! Loved them out of the box! Double zippers are great! CONS: No padding on the interior of the boots and they needed it. Soles were extremely slippery! My floors are all ceramic tile or hardwood. These boots were so slippery I was not comfortable walking in them around my house! Can’t imagine wearing them outside in bad weather. Soles seemed plastic and did not seem scuffable, just slick. I wanted to love these beautiful boots, but comfort and safety are lacking.

Cute boot. However due to the reviews that reported this boot ran narrow, I ordered an 8W. My foot slipped around and was not secure in the boot. I probably would've been better off just ordering my normal size, 8M. One other detail that I did not end up liking is the silver zipper on both sides of the bootie. Wish it was a hidden zipper and not so glaringly obvious.

I wanted to love these boots! Nice style, seemed well made. The sizing seemed accurate - I bought a 9.5 wide. But there was something weird about the arch in the sole of the boot. It seemed not to fit my foot rather than being a good or bad arch support. The angle of the boot from the boot heel height to the flat of the ball of my foot was "off". Sadly, I returned them....

Loved the style of these boots. Out of nine pairs I tried that were similar these were the best looking *by far*. However the wide was too narrow, there is very little cushion, and the insole is not removable so I can’t just replace it. Soles are also slippery. I wish I could keep them but I commute on a train and work at a university so I stand and walk quite a bit every day. I am no longer willing to completely sacrifice comfort for style. So I reluctantly returned them. Please revise this design with women’s comfort in mind! Slightly wider in the W (or offer WW) and a removable footbed would solve the main problems. Comfort and style, is it really that difficult?

I returned them,because they were huge for a size 7.

Soft leather and should be comfortable but was not. Hard to get foot in the shoe and I tried two sizes. Has to go back.

I ordered a 9M and they were too big. Maybe with socks and an insert they would have been okay, but the other problem is the very slick soles, as mentioned by other reviewers. I could not feel comfortable walking in them. Love the gray suede and the color is just what I'm looking for, but I will keep looking.

Although I ordered a wide width, this felt narrow and uncomfortable over my high instep. Because of its pointed shape, it was also a little squeezy on my toes. Nice looking boot though--beautifully soft suede.

Very nice boot, but I had to choose between the Hush Puppy black anthracite nubuck and Sam Edelman Packer. Hush Puppy won out. I would recommend these Sam Edelman's to anyone, however. The leather is soft and comfy even though the footbed doesn't have much in the way of padding or arch support. With a light weight sock, it's a good fit and feel. The toe is not too pointy and allows toe movement. The heel height is perfect. Thanks again, Zappos.
