I love these boots. They are made to fit loosely, although there is no compromise in foot stability or comfort. I found them to be true to size, and I have plenty of room to tuck skinny leg jeans into them very comfortably, even with the companion Hunter fleece boot liners. I spent the whole day in them at work, and they were a breeze to wear. The gloss and color are true to the picture, and I was able to match them perfectly to my Land's End raincoat. My only complaint is that, for the price, I feel a little ripped off that I had to pay extra money just to get the matching fleece boot liners; and to be truthful, they are just fleece liners (nothing special or magic in the material or design).

I love these boots. They are comfy and waterproof, which is perfect for this winter. And they look great with leggings or even tights and a short skirt. Be aware they run roomy, so order a size down if you are a half size. Also, the Hunter socks that go with them are great but run short, so if you want to be able to fold them over as they are intended, consider ordering a size up.

I bought this boot as a gift for my 28 year old daughter and she loved them! They fit great (she's a 9 1/2 and I bought the 9's based on other reviews and she had a thumb width of room in the toe). Color is awesome.

I live in NY and we just had our first major snow storm for the season and these boots saved me. They kept my feet warm and dry while shoveling and walking to the store. The soles of these boots kept me from slipping and sliding. I am so glad I ordered these boots when I did; they are a must have if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow. (Sizing wise I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 but I ordered a 9 to allow room for the liners or thick socks.)

I bought a pair for each of my teenage daughters for Christmas. They loved the look of these winter boots and wore them for hours, even walking through high drifts of snow. They looked great and their feet were bone dry!

These boots are awesome! They've very comfortable and not loose and sloppy around the ankles like many boots can be. I added Uggs insoles so they're warm and toasty. I wear 8 1/2 and ordered a 9 and they're perfect.

I absolutely love these boots. I was skeptical about wearing them in the winter and snow, but with a pair of wool socks they keep my feet warm and dry. Easy to walk in and comfortable, they look really great!

These are well worth the money. They are definitely a staple in any woman's wardrobe...rain or snow these boots are great. I also have a yellow pair of the short ones. Love 'em, but you need to order a whole size smaller. I wear woman's 6; these are 3's.

Love these! Already had the Hunter short boot in Navy but wanted some tall ones as well. Was a little nervous the red would be an orange/red, but they are a true red and the perfect accessory to brighten up a rainy day!

Love this boot. It's a bit loose fitting through the foot, but a sock helps tremendously, and my toes have plenty of room to wiggle, which I find comfortable. Since it hits right underneath my knee, I can walk right through water puddles (makes me feel like a kid again) and not worry about getting wet. It's cute with leggings and even dresses and tights. I couldn't be more pleased.

Nice boots but a little too tall. I'm petite (5 foot even) and the top of the boots hit at my knees. As long as I wear them with jeans, they do not rub. I'm keeping the boots but if you're shorter than me, you may find the boot top is above your knee. Excellent and fast service from Zappos!

I bought red, and I am thinking of adding green or black. I commute in these and walk several miles per day on city streets; was worried they would be too heavy but they are perfectly comfortable. I added lambswool sole inserts to improve fit and warmth. The height is great--I stay dry to the knee.

I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort, quality and beauty of these boots. Perfect fit and extremely comfortable. I took a good walk to beach on moderate trail, good arch support. I purchased half size smaller than usual. No trouble with the boot height. I am 5 ft 5 in. tall. Beautiful boot, great color. I will wear them often. Easy to clean.

I was torn between the glossy hunter originals in orange or red. I finally settled on the orange and I love how bright and colorful they are, especially when I wear them in the rain. Every time I wear them I get compliments, especially from men. I don't know if it's the bright color or the fact that I wear them with a short skirt or with jeans tucked in, but I am always surprised that men notice and comment on them.

Amazing boots! Thanks Zappos for always delivering high quality products in a very short time. I loved the Hunter boots so much, I had to order a second pair in blue. These boots go with anything...dresses, jeans, shorts...the boots make the statement. Love them!

These are the most comfortable rain boots ever. They run at the most half a size larger, which you will need in winter to add socks. So you better not order a size down. I am a 9½ leaning towards a 10; and my size 10 boots fit perfectly with socks. I ordered the Wellie warmers too, but should not have bothered because I find that I prefer to wear thick wool socks over sneaker socks when it is cold. It is not only warmer but it is also easier to tuck the pants into the wool socks than the Wellie warmers.

These boots are amazing! They are the first pair of rain boots that I have found to look good. They are so stylish, plus they come up high and really keep out the water.

I absolutely love my new Hunter Gloss Boots. It took me a while to find the right pair but now that I have them I am so happy. I originally ordered the Original Hunter boots in black and I got the wrong size. I wear a size 7 but ordered a 9, do the UK sizes. Then I returned them and ordered a UK size 5 which is a US size 7. I wore them once and they started to turn a light gray from the natural rubber that they were made of. (A disclaimer is attached to the boot.) I didn't want to have to clean them each time I wore them due to the Chicago winters. I wish someone would have told me about the non gloss finishes and how they are a little more upkeep. If I would have known that I would have went for the glossy ones to begin with. FYI they are not super shinny, but just enough!

So happy I finally ordered these - they honestly make me feel better about rainy days. The are super cute with skinny pants or leggings and if you get the welly socks they can double as a snow boot! Expensive, but I think they worth it.

Love these boots! I am petite, 5'2", narrow calves. I was afraid these boots would be too tall and my calves would swim in them, but they're quite comfortable. I can sit on a chair without the backs digging in. I sit on my heels a lot though because I have toddlers, then the backs do dig in. They're soft enough that it doesn't bother me. They look great and perform well in the wet, mucky streets of NY.

I just got my black hi-gloss wellies and I am in love! I'm going to be trampin' around this campus like it's nobody's business. Perfect for the crazy snow and slush, especially with welly socks! I debated over getting these for a month, and I caved, and thank goodness!

I ordered these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them. She wears them every chance she gets, no blisters and very comfortable. Highly recommend them!

I love these boots. I've been looking at them for over a year and could not justify paying the money for a pair of rubber boots, but I finally bit the bullet and did it. I'm so glad I did. It rains a lot in Seattle so needless to say, I've worn them a lot this season. I'm a true size 8; I ordered a size 8 and it fits perfect.
