This is the best shoe! I had been wanting these boots for a while, but the price kept putting me off until I decided to just order them, and I have never been happier. Wore then on a weekend trip where it rained, and my feet never got sore either, even after hours of walking. They are boots that will not go out of style and I have been wearing them more often than just in the rain, due to their comfort and warmth. I am a solid size 8 (sometimes 8 ) shoe and ordered these in a 7 and my toes still have room to move. Great purchase! I get a ton of compliments!

I bought these in violet. The first day I wore them I got about 10 compliments. They are really cute and fun for a rainy/snowy day. I have larger than average calves but with a heel booster inside I have no problems and can still tuck my skinny jeans in. They have also loosened up with continued wear. These do not look cheaply made as other reviewers suggest. Rather they are much nicer than cheaper rain boots, which I always stayed away from because of the "rubbery" look. They are also super comfy for all day wear. I also ordered a pair in eggplant but they did not fit right because of a smaller size. Those were not as shiny as the violets but had a more rugged outdoorsy look that was still super cute. And, if the style were not enough, you can tromp through puddle after puddle without worry. Highly recommend!

I loved the color of these boots, and I had a hard time locating them. But, Zappos was very helpful and found a pair in my size. I was pleased with the quality when I received them, and they were true to size. They cover the whole bottom of my leg so that my pants won't get wet in our torrential downpours. They are great.

Super comfy and cute boot! I had read that they are quite narrow in the leg, but I have plenty of room in my calves even with jeans tucked in. I love them!

Much more comfy than a typical rubber boot and oh so stylish. I usually wear a 7 -8 and the 7 fit perfectly with room for a thick pair of socks! Watch out dog park, your mud is no threat to me now.

I purchased these boots about 6 weeks ago in black. I love them, and I get lots of compliments. They work great with skinny jeans and some casual skirts. I wear them all of the time. I have not had any issues with discoloration others have mentioned. I usually wear a 7.5 in heels and sandals and an 8 in boots (so I can wear heavy socks). These fit perfectly in an 8.

The sizing conversion not really correct - 8US is 38 European, so if you are 8US- you would like 38 European from Zappos. Great quality and so cute boots!

LOVE these boots! Needed to invest in some good quality boots for when I go off to college. Very comfortable from what I've felt but haven't tested them in the rain yet. They are not as glossy as they appear in the picture, which I was initially disappointed by, but all in all they are a great shoe. Pretty loose around the ankle area, so easy to slide on and leaves a lot of room for socks. The tread on the bottom of the sole is great too.

I read many reviews on these particular boots before buying them and just about every review said to buy 1 size smaller than you typically wear. I decided to go ahead and get an 8 (I usually wear 8.5). They are definitely big on me but with a thick pair of socks they are perfect and fit very comfortably! I love them! They are practical but still fashionable. I already want a second pair in a different color.

Quality is excellent. Boots rise to just below my knee. Need to wear them with leggings because jeans will not fit down inside boots. Very comfortable, too :)

These boots are fantastic! I love the bright color and they are quite comfortable, despite the lack of arch support. I received a ton of compliments when I wore them to work and, beyond the good looks, they are very functional in a nasty rainstorm.

I usually wear an 8½ in heels and running shoes, but got an 8 in these and that worked great. Beautiful color, sturdy, and it is so much fun to jump in puddles again. Great boots - I am going to enjoy our lifetime together!

These boots are great and stylish, too. I love the height and the faux buckle. They are pretty comfortable as well and keep my pants and shoes from getting ruined in the rain.

I bought the Original Gloss in RED and I looooooove them!! Do not buy Hunters in a full size larger like several customers have recommended. I felt that the fit was TTS , perhaps a wee bit larger but with heavy socks, a perfect fit! I normally wear size 6 and the size 6 wellies fit me just fine with room for heavy socks. The quality is fantastic. Red looks great with black clothes/rainwear as well as jeans and a classic trench in tan or black. I also think you should have fun with these Hunters and I highly suggest purchasing a fun color, like teal, red or violet- it gives a punch of color especially fab on a dreary, rainy day!

Oh, how I pined over these Hunter boots for nearly three wet and snowy fall and winter weather seasons! Now, since I\'m living in a downtown urban environment, I expect a lot more walking -- and with 6-7 months of miserable weather, at least my boots can be awesome! \r\n\r\nAnd keep my feet dry and warm. \r\n\r\nDon\'t waste money on poorly made, leaky boots every year. Make the investment (in a color that will make your gray days a little more sunny). \r\n\r\nI found these true to size, even with my muscular calves, but I definitely recommend purchasing the boot liners. I didn\'t at first, and even with socks and tights, the seemed to "stick" to my legs rather uncomfortably. \r\n\r\nThey DO take some time getting used to walking in, especially on steps and curbs.

I ordered these in a size four but they fit more like a size 5, which was a bit loose but overall fine because they were amazingly comfortable with more room. I wore them with plain socks or thicker winter knee-high socks, both fit fine in the shoes. And so many people complimented me on them! The color is very flattering with any outfit!

The best boots ever worn on a farm! And the most stylish! After 2 years of daily use, I finally have to break down and buy a new pair. I get comments on them anytime I wear them out too! And so comfortable. I have a high arch and these boots are the only ones I can find that compliment my feet.

These are just what you would expect them to be, beautiful boots that make you wish it would rain. I'm returning them because they are so tall that they hit just above the back of my knee when I bend my leg. I'm 5'3".

This is my third pair of Hunter rain boots. They keep my feet dry while making a rainy day fun. And the violet color reminds me of my favorite crayon color as a child. Who wouldn\'t love these boots! If you need waterproof footwear, consider Hunter Original Gloss boots. Just know that they do run a full size larger.

These boots are fantastic. Very stylish and practical. I ordered my normal shoe size, and they fit great, with plenty of room for heavy socks and to tuck jeans inside. Also, the Glossy Bitter Chocolate color is very pretty.

Love it! Very study material. Really strong. Tall so I don't have to worry about my pants getting soaked. The only thing is when it loses color it looks awful so you may way to opt to get the grey in the glossy finish (mine haven't faded yet, but I've seen), so I don't know how long it takes before it fades. However it's a great buy!

These boots are very true to what you would expect. Not the world's most comfortable walking shoe, but great for staying dry (and looking stylish!) in the rain. I have ordered many things from Zappos and I always have a great experience. This was no exception - I received my boots the day after ordering them and I love them!
