These are adorable. A tiny bit loose but a thick pair of socks will help that. They are going to look great when I get the wellie socks.

LOVE this boot! It is perfect for those rainy, snowy, slushy days. It is actually pretty comfortable, too. I'd say it is true to size. I'm a 10 and the 10 fits perfectly. Would HIGHLY recommend this boot!

I love these boots! They are not sloppy like other rain boots I've tried on. I researched these boots for over a year and finally took the plunge and am very glad I did. The shaft seems reasonably sized. I know a lot of people say it's tight, I think it's just right. I feel like I have average to athletic calves, they're not thin but not fat, pretty average. I can wear them with skinny jeans (actual denim, not jeggings) without a problem. They are comfortable to walk around in and I haven't had any trouble with water getting through these boots. Love.

These are the greatest boots ever! The boots are more gray in color than the picture. I wear a size 6 and they fit perfect.

I got these for my mom for her birthday, and she loves them. She's usually a 6.5, and the 6 fits her perfectly. I tried them on too, and the sole is so cushy! They aren't too shiny - just right. She wore them out on a slushy day recently, and an older gentleman commented that he used to have the same boots that he wore to work in a steel mill. Fashion meets function!

I agonized about buying these boots for 2 years (who in their right mind pays this much for rubber boots) and then my husband bought them for me for Christmas. I am normally a size 7 1/2 so he bought them in the 38 (size 7) and they were way too small and my toes were crammed up against the front of the boot without any sock on at all, let alone a thin sock. So I sent them back for the larger size 39 (equivalent to size 8) and they are great. Upgraded overnight shipping (love Zappos) which was a bonus. At 5'4 and they do come right under my knee, so anyone shorter may have a problem because they are tall- but otherwise great.

These do a great job of keeping me dry on rainy days. I can go puddle jumping with my kids and stylish when I go out. It you are much shorter than 5'4" they may be too tall for you though. Warn and cozy!

The boots were a gift. The direction of going down a size if you are a half size worked to be accurate for us. Zappos was very good to deliver timely. The assurance of free return shipping on the gift sealed the transaction for me!

Bought these for my daughter for Christmas - she loves them. One draw back is they are a little tight under the knee, but she loves them!

These boots are terrific - definitely worth the investment! Originally, I followed the manufacturer's advice listed in the product information, and ordered a size smaller in these boots. Unfortunately, those were too small, so I returned them the same day. Luckily, I had the new size within a week (very easy returns with Zappos!), and they fit perfectly. I also ordered the fleece inserts for the winter, and they work perfectly. I can even wear another pair of socks (or two) comfortably, for really really cold days. The boots are comfortable and most importantly, waterproof - I can slosh through puddles or snow drifts with confidence!

Ordering online was easy. Everything arrived on time for Christmas. Daughter loved boots now that it is snowing in the Northeast! Completely satisfied with shipping and delivery.

I love these boots! I am a true size 9 and bought these in an 8 based on others reviews. They fit perfect! Also, true to other reviews I have read the shaft of the boot is both tall and narrow. Lucky I have narrow calves and at 5'9" the length was perfect. Just enough room to tuck in leggings or skinny jeans. The gloss was just right. A bit shinier than the regular black, but not patent leather looking. These are now my favorite boot, and I look for an excuse to wear them.

I am very happy with these boots, and I agree with most of what everyone has written about the fit. I followed the advice to order a size down and it was correct. I normally wear a 6.5-7 and the 6 fits perfectly with plenty of room for thick socks. Skinny jeans fit in easily and comfortably. I am almost 5'4" and weigh just shy of 110 lbs. I don't think of my calves as skinny, because they are muscular and shapely, but I am small in general. I did not try the Wellie Socks because everyone complained about the seam being uncomfortable, so I don't know if skinny jeans and wellie socks can both fit, but you definitely need a second pair of socks, because there is a lot of room in the toe. I love how these boots look too. The height is great and the black gloss looks sharp...who would have thought rainboots could look so stylish! They look even nicer than I was expecting. I could do without the Hunter label right in the front, but people who like to show off brand names would probably really like that. The footbed is comfortable. I normally prefer a higher arch, but there is a lot of support that comes from the heal which really compensates for not having as much of an arch. I like the Nylon lining. They slip on an off very easily. I haven't gotten to really wear them out yet...waiting for a slushy day.

5 stars for the boot and 10 stars for customer service! I love Zappos. My husband had purchased the green original boots for me from another site. When I returned them, I took the opportunity to use Zappos instead to buy the black gloss original. I wear an 8 1/2 and bought the 8. Fits perfect and I love the fleece charcoal socks I bought to go inside. They are super comfortable. I ordered (after much advice from customer service online on color) on Wednesday night and they were here by noon on Friday! Just in time for the snow we had overnight. I am beyond thrilled with the boots and the service. The customer service reps are like personal shoppers with very good advice!

We bought the Hunter boots for our daughter, who lives in chicago. She loves the boots as they keep her feet nice and dry in the slush.

These boots are exactly what they promise to be. They are classic. I love the funky colors, which make them less serious. I'm a straight 8.5, and usually wear a Eu 39. But I returned these for a 40-41, which is supposed to fit a US size 9 because my toes were touching the front sides of the smaller size, and they were snug to get on and off. The bigger ones are a bit sloppy fitting, but I put an insert with arch support in them and they're fine now. They're rain boots, after-all. In my opinion the sock inserts that Wellington makes are a rip-off. They're expensive and made of fleece (even the knitted ones have fleece lowers). If it's not wool, it gets stinky, and you'll have to wash them like socks anyway. I spent a little less on two beautiful pairs of cashmere knee high socks to wear in my boots, and I am very happy. One more thing, the boots claim that a natural white oxidation will occur over time because of the natural rubber they are made from. I like that they're made from a renewable resource, rather than petroleum, but it will be a bummer when they lose their shine.

Not only are these boots incredibly comfortable, I gets compliments from strangers whenever I wear them and I wear them a lot more often than I originally thought I would. I'd also like to commend Zappos for their great customer service. I ordered these boots at midnight one night and they were on my front porch by lunch time the next day! Talk about nearly instant gratification!
