These wear out after 100 miles. I can only give this 2 stars because I have run in wave riders for years. Now with 21s, they are only lasting roughly 100 miles! That means these shoes cost more than $1 a mile! I know when they're dead because suddenly my feet hurt, my plantar fasciitis comes back, and I get weird blisters. I've been through 2 pairs of these now, and the same with both. This happened to a friend of mine as well. I hope they correct this with 22.

This shoe has been such a disappointment. I have two pairs of wave 16, which I absolutely LOVE. I have nursed them along, but finally needed to replace them. The new model seems heavier, clunkier, uncomfortable, and a complete waste of my money. I have continued wearing them hoping they would break in and get better. I tried again tonight, and they are still bad. I will not be buying Mizuno again.

I have an endless quest for the perfect shoe for high insteps and supination. These aren't it. My runs-slightly-narrow foot feels like it is edging over the insole, making the medium width feel narrow. Cushioning is average, and my usual-athletic size of 7 fits fine. In street shoes I wear a 6 or 6 1/2. But they don't feel like they're made for me.

I agree with the previous review. I thought these were going to be a good replacement for my Asics which had increased so much in price. I wore only in house and felt fine. But, on my daily 4 mile walk.....my foot would go numb and become so painful I could barely walk. I do believe it to be a good shoe, but much too narrow in the toe box. I should have ordered a wide width even tho my feet are normal width. $120 down the drain and my budget cannot afford. My advice is to order a wider than your normal shoe size.

my foot is narrow and very thin, this shoe is defectively narrow! The heel makes you feel unstable, like you could twist your ankle.
