I normally wear an 8 in most sneakers and heels but often wear at 8 1/2 in boots and these fit true to size. Good quality leather, I’ve had mine for three years now and they still look near brand new. Love the cognac color. There isn’t much arch support so my feet definitely hurt sometimes if I walk around in them all day.

This is my second pair of Frye's and I like these so much more than the button back zipped Melissa style. I usually wear a 6 1/2-7 depending on the brand and style, and the 7 fit me perfectly.

Material is fantastic; very comfortable, and I have major spinal issues, just love them!

Fit great, did not realize how short the boot runs. I'm 5'10" so it's probably find for most, just short for me and I prefer my boots to run high as I'm a horseback rider and I'm use to them being right below my knee.

I love my new boots. I did order half a size bigger just in cause and probably should have just got my size but wearing big socks makes it just fine Overall very happy

I loved how these boots felt (so soft!) and looked. However, there was no arch support which would make them a short term wear for me. I ended up sending them back.

Usually a size 9 which was too narrow, fry suggested bumping up a half size which I did and the fit is perfect.

LOVE these boots... with myself the 3rd is the charm... I didn’t listen to other reviews.. and I ordered my usual size 7.... I couldn’t even get my toes past even the ankle area inside the boot(and I am petite 5’4 and 106lbs.... so I returned those and order the size 7.5 they actually fit perfect....... just one problem... it was 100% obvious that these had been worn and returned and I received someone’s used boots. This (sadly) has happened a few times with Zappos.. that is my one and only complaint .. when you guys receive returns maybe you need a special position where that employee ONLY checks returns for any wear, scuff marks and scrapped leather is total signs of where. With this said I will never stop ordering from Zappos . There have THE best customer service . The 3rd Melissa 2 boot in the 7.5 I received is perfect . Totally size up at least a half size !

I would say I have average calves, I had to return for the extended size. I'm very pleased with the boot, but even more so with the customer representative. Zappos definitely has a customer for life with me.

I haven’t worn these as of yet.... I just want to commend ZAPPOS for their totally AWESOME Customer Service and lightening fast FREE shipping . Sooooo thriller with your company . What I do wish to say on this FRYE Melissa 2 boot. The 3rd was the charm for me. I did indeed order my usual size in this boot because SO many different reviews ... HUGE mistake.. huge I wear a 7 in Sam Edelman , Nike’s, Rainbow Toms etc.. I am a very thin and petite 5’4 .. let me tell you I couldn’t even attempt to get my toes pass the heel area to even attempt to make a force fit. Definitely order a half size to a size larger. Secondly , I was a tad disappointed disappointed that the second pair I received in the right size (now) a 7.5 fit “like a glove”. Absolutely perfect. How ever it was totally OBVIOUS they had been used /worn from someone else, who decided to return them. I was crossing my Finger on this 3rd delivery that they would appear worn. And SOOO happy they seem to be brand new. all in all . For This particular purchase I do give your company a 6.5 out of 10 Stars. And Th at is simply for someone NOT recognizing they were sending out second hand boots. That costs your company more money and more time. Other than that issue. I give you guys a 10 Star review!!! FINALLY! A boot that doesn't have a big gap on my calves! I have steered away from many tall boots because there is a weird gap on my calves. THESE DO NOT HAVE A GAP. But, you have to earn getting these on your feet! I have never had a non-zip tall boot before. I had NO IDEA what a work-out it was to put these things on for the first few times!!! Squeezing my feet past the ankle for the first time was so difficult! And once I got them on, I was scared I couldn't get them off. There are actually little black loops on the tops of the boots to aid with putting these on. It really did take about 3 times of putting them on and taking them off until they stretched enough that it wasn't a total work out. BUT WELL WORTH IT. They fit like a glove. My calf at the widest part, with skinny jeans on, is a little over 14". The regular calf fit great with jeans, or while wearing a dress. Very comfortable, true to size, classic boot. I like that the toe is not too pointy, not too round. These will always be in style. I would recommend to anyone.

These boots are beautiful! Looking forward to wearing them this fall. Just wish the weather would cool off so I could wear them ? it’s still 90 degrees here in September.

Gorgeous boots! I am usually a 6.5 or 7 depending on the brand and shoe. The 6.5 fits perfectly. Can’t wait for cooler weather!

I purchased the Smoke extended Frey Melissa Button 2, it's easier to get on and off. Plus with the extra room, slim jeans can be worn inside the boot. Fit is true to size, I wear 9.5 - 10 in various brands. 9.5 fits perfectly. The comfort will be 5 stars once they are worn in a little bit, but right out of the box they feel great. Loved the Melissa Button Bootie so much, that I purchased the full boot.

These boots are so beautiful! I purchased them in congnac in my usual shoe size 8 1/2. I have thick calves so I got the ones with the extended calf size. There’s plenty of room for me to wear them with jeans and have them feel tight and the foot has room to accommodate socks, but they are comfortable with just tights as well. They are comfy right out of the box, but I’ll have to wait for cooler temps to see how the feel wearing them all day, but I don’t foresee any problems. I’m saving up to get a pair in black as well. I think I’ll be enjoying these for years to come.

I got these for my mom for Mother’s Day and they fit her perfect. I also have the same pair. They are a very classic boot.
