I could not get my foot in without a zipper

Not a good boot if you have short legs. They will rub you on the back of your knees and there is no foot cushion or support. Good luck on trying to return items or contacting customer support because Ive emailed numerous times and the only response is to rate the item. Horrible customer service because there is none. Dont bother to call them because you cant talk to anyone the recording says go online for assistance but you wont get help.

Yes they take a minute to break in, as all GOOD boots do. Ive had mine for 4ish years and will keep them until they disintegrate if I dont before them!

Great boot! I bought the grey and it has some brown tones in them, which is great. Super comfortable, and the original boots were fine - I thought I needed the wide calf, but those were way too big.

Beautiful color and quality. But beware I wear a size 10 and it was impossible to even get my foot past the heel cup. The boot is so narrow where the shaft meets the shoe I cant get my foot into these. I have to return but now Im worried the other pull on boots have the same problem. Going to try zippers

I bought these boots with some trepidation given reviews about difficulty getting them on. Initially it was not easy to get my foot down into the shoe area. But after leaving shoe trees in for a couple of days and ordering knee high bamboo boot socks from Amazon my foot goes down no problem. They are beautiful, well made boots so I wasn't going to give up. Comfortable, classic and well worth the effort.

I wear an 8 in every shoe or boot I own so I was very disappointed when I literally could not get my foot even halfway in the Melissa Button 2 boots I received for Christmas. (My calves are not large either). I emailed Frye and Im still waiting for a reply. The phone number provided in the packaging was no help as I was disconnected after a few minutes. Im hoping Frye will take care of the situation.

This boot is impossible to get on your foot, do not waste your time with this purchas.

I had ordered a pair of the boots. So cute. Got them in and the right boot was a totally different smaller size than the left one. Had to send them back, was wanting to were the for the holidays. But that didnt happen. The re-shipped me another pair. And when I got them.this time the left boot was smaller than the right. . Still waiting on a return label from them. I am very disappointed in their customer service.

Terrible experience

Unfortunately I had to return these boots. The fit was perfect, but the color was not even close to being grey, as listed. Also the quality was less than what I am used to from Frye Boots. Leather felt cheap and almost cardboard like. Might try another style

I bought a pair of this exact style around 8 years ago. I was able to get them on with a minimal effort. The leather was such great quality the boots quickly formed to my feet. I lost this pair in a house fire last week. I was thrilled to see the same exact style still available. I bought the same exact pair to replace the ones I lost - same color and size. It is impossible to get this pair on! Plus, the leather is thinner than the first pair I bought. I am very disappointed. I am going to return them and try a half size bigger to see if I can get them on

I own 8 pairs of Frye boots, all my regular size 7. For the Melissa 2 boot, I tried my regular size and a half size up. I could not insert my foiot into either size. I sent both boots back.

Great quality and very comfortable

I love these boots but, they didnt fit me! I love the style, smell, colors. Im happy for the easy returns!

I didnt like the boots at all they werent the color as pictured and I couldnt even get my foot in the boot

Ordered larger size due to aging feet and needing larger toe box. Not the same boot you made 10 years ago.

they were way to small for a size 7.5 (narrow) sad there were not more sizes available online

The boots had grey spots on them , as well as several streaks going down the outside of the boot . I will be returning these . They are very noticeable and not up to par with your product . I would like another 7.5 size sent to me , with a thorough inspection before being mailed . I will return these asap. Thank you , Louisa Moore
