Faulty design and unwearable I received these boots in February, wearing twice with no problem. The third time I went to put them on, the then inner layer disconnected from the outer leather. When I try to pull them on, the inner layer pulls the leather down around the heel, making the boot impossible to put on correctly. This is my second pair from this order that something went wrong with and are now unwearable. Fry quality is not the same anymore and this will absolutely be my last purchase with them

Trial and error. After my first pair not fitting and the second pair damaged , I finally got my 3 pair and they are stunning !!!! I had to order a half size up but they are perfect , so comfortable and beautiful! I am in love !

Soft leather, and they just get softer and wear in nicely. I had to work them on at first but now is fine, wider in ankle than my other pair but since the leather is good quality, they're very comfortable for walking. I live in NYC and walk for days, they are comfy, and I'm very thankful.

So after reading about every other review saying that they couldn't get their foot in the boot, I thought I would be the one to go against the odds. Unfortunately that didn't happen. When you open up that box, you just smell leather. The color is gorgeous but I couldn't get either of my feet to go into the ankle part of the boot. I also tried to use nylon socks and nothing. I'm going to have to return these. I guess we'll see these boots in the discounted dept stores with soo many people returning them.

While the quality of the boots is top notch and while they are beautiful, the are very difficult to put on and take off.

Excellent customer service. I am very pleased. These will be my go to boots for skirts and jeans. I wish all Frye boots were still made in the USA, but this is the world in which we live.

I received these boots for Christmas from my husband and wore them in January twice with no problem. The third time I went to put them on, the then inner layer disconnected from the outer leather. When I try to pull them on, the inner layer pulls the leather down around the heel, making the boot impossible to put on correctly. I reached out to the company and received a reply several days later, despite the website stating replies come within 24 hours. They suggested I contact a professional cobbler for a repair. For the cost of the boots, this should not be happening after two wears. They are unwearable now because I cant get one boot on. Be cautious and double check that inner layer when you get them.

Great great great boots had to get a size up from my original size and they fit soooooo comfortable! I love the fact I was able to use the sizing chart to help pick out my true size thank you

I bought these shoes three times, once in the regular calf and once in the wide calf. Both times my calf fit but the shoe would not go on my foot. I even bought a bigger size but my foot got stuck at the ankle and I could never get it through on either shoe. So disappointed as many of my friends have this shoe and love it and of course it looks gorgeous. I returned both times and both times the return was easy but I was charged $12

The quality in the workmanship of these boots is outstanding! the length of the boot is true to size however. I can not clear my heel by the ankle . The right one, when a wiggle A LOT lets me slip in but the left one is too tight. I had a pair from a boot store that had the same issue and they were able to stretch it and that worked. Do you have that curtisy? I love FRYE footwear and own several pairs. So I am somewhat disappointed in this one.

Warning: Frye is not the same company it used to be. They are living off the reputation of a former owner back when they were made in America. It is 100% impossible to reach an actual person. I learned the hard way after spending hundreds of dollars on boots that don't fit. Buyer Beware.

I am very disappointed - something is wrong with the left boot- it will not go on Right boot fits great- I reached out to customer service and have not received a response - they are beautiful boots - I wish I could wear them

I received Melissa Button 2 Wide Width boots for Christmas. Sent them back on Dec. 26 to exchange for Melissa Button 2 (reg width). The day that I received 2nd pair, I exchanged for same kind in different size (note: each time paying $12 for shipping). Received 3rd pair on Jan. 16. Automated reply says I cannot get refund because it's more than 30 days from delivery BUT I JUST RECEIVED BOOTS YESTERDAY. IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH A CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON OR GET ANY REPLY OTHER THAN AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE.

Could not get my right foot in at all and left was a serious challenge. I have a pair of black ones that I love! These- the lining is so loose from the boot making it truly impossible to put your foot in. Working on a return now. Terribly disappointed.

The boot is made a lovely black leather and it is comfortable to wear. However, I will be returning it, as the bottom of the boot is so smooth that it is too slippery to wear on many surfaces both inside and outside. It would be a perfect boot if it had a rubber sole or any sole with a bit of traction.

The boots are nice but possibly the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. As long as the boots fit, and you dont have to return them then great. If you have to return or exchange anything its horrendous. There isnt anyone to talk to and Ive sent numerous emails/messages with no response. Im trying to return two pairs of boots (almost $500 worth) and they are saying my refund is $0.00?? And I cant get ahold of anyone

True to size. Stylish and comfortable.

I love the look of these boots, but they rub my toes. I wear a size 11 but not sure of the issue. I've tried to call for help, but I get a recording to go online. I've send an email, but have not gotten a response yet. Help!

I am normally a size 7.5 or 7 in all my shoes. I ordered and 7.5 and it was way too big so I was able to exchange for a 7 and the process was very easy and fast. Once I got the 7, it was still too big so I just decided to make a full return. I returned my boots and received an email saying Frye had received them. I have still not received my refund and it has been over 6 business days since I have had a response. Frye does not take any customer service calls nor replies to emails.

These boots are beautiful!! They are also very hard to put on the first couple of times you wear them. I had to work the heel area with my hand so it was more pliable. There was plenty of room once I got them on and they are very comfortable.

My wife loves them
